Our hostess was very friendly and helpful with lots of tips for places to go to and restaurants to eat at.The room was small but very comfortable and the bed was great.. Though it was on the main road we didn’t find it noisy with the windows shut. The shower was very good and it was helpful to have a lift to get to our floor. The breakfast was amazing, so generous and varied with wonderful coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. There was fresh fruit, cereals, yoghurt and a range of bread and pastries along with cheese, meats and boiled eggs. It was a great location and easy to walk everywhere.

The landlady was super helpful with tips what to visit and the car parking that we needed for the last two days. The property had decent sized rooms and clean bathrooms. The breakfast buffet was generous and was included in the price, special mention goes for the freshly squeezed orange juice. The location is very good, the main Market Square was about 6 minutes walk away.

The road on which the property is located was quite noisy till late at night due to regular car traffic on cobble stones and some building works in the vicinity that was carried out early in the morning even on the weekend.

The owner, Veronique, was the perfect host. We knew we'd be arriving a little late in Bruges but she was so accommodating and helpful when we did finally get there. As requested, she made sure we had two rooms close together and they were very clean and comfortable. She gave us loads of information to help us find our way around Bruges, which was great. Breakfast was amazing and Veronique was always close by to ensure we had everything we needed. The location of the hotel was perfect for exploring Bruges and we would definitely stay there again.

From the moment we checked in we were treated as friends in this beautiful place. Very attentive host with lots of advice about where and what to do Room was perfect, bed is very comfortable and very big Plenty of space for clothes etc Everything you need is here Literally 60 seconds of walking and you are in the main square Despite this we slept very well with very little noise if any Breakfast superb with freshly squeezed orange juice We recommend sitting outside if weather permits! Nothing all perfect

Our stay at Hotel Algeria was truly like a small BnB. The location was very central and our hostess greeted us throughout the day and shared helpful information:) The smell of croissants, natural light, view of the garden and full homemade breakfast buffet was a perfect way to start each day. Our room was lovely and we used the garden for a picnic in the afternoon. I enjoyed the shop below and have a beautiful scarf to remember our stay!❤️🌷❤️ Our hostess was very helpful arranging dinner reservations, unusual excursions and a taxi to the train station.

Amazing family run hotel just off the main square of Bruges. The owners are super friendly, kind and ensure that you are comfortable and enjoy your stay. The main Wintergloed (Christmas Market) was 1 minute walk away. The hotel is in a quiet street with restaurants very close by, the room was a perfect size, warm and quadruple glazed, which meant peaceful nights sleep! The stay included a wonderful selection for continental breakfast, great coffee and fresh orange juice. The owners can suggest many activities for you to fill your time in Bruges. With its central location, I liked that you could go out for an activity, relax back at the hotel and then go out for further activities later! Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable! Highly recommend!

The hotel was a lovely base for our 3 day stay: our room was large, really comfortable, clean and super quiet, with a great view onto the garden. The location is hard to beat - it's a 5 min walk to the Belfry square, and the free city/station shuttle bus stops across the street. The breakfast was lovely with a nice range of meat, veggie and vegan options. Veronique, the owner, was really helpful and welcoming, with some nice restaurant recommendations and other tips on getting around.

This is a little gem of a hotel and we had three fabulous nights here. The location is perfectly placed - a short walk to the main square and all the sights within easy reach. The hotel is spotlessly clean and we were made to feel so welcome by Veronique- lots of advice on what to see and where to go in Bruges, and freshly squeezed orange juice to go alongside a very lovely breakfast buffet each morning. Our bedroom was bright, plenty of space and fab bathroom with all the necessities taken care of. Parking was easy, just around the corner from the hotel. Highly recommend this as a base for a city break in Bruges and we will be back!!

Nothing at all, it was all fantastic!

The staff was excellent, warm and welcoming. Extra effort was made to book our group together; we had a total of three rooms. The beds were extremely comfortable. Breakfast included fresh squeezed orange juice. And the location could not be better. We were introduced to all the things to do in the area and given a coupon type book, upon check-in. This location is walking distance to everything. We could easily park our large car in a nearby underground parking garage.

The location was perfect, everything was walkable from the hotel. The welcome was warm and friendly, and the owner gave us lots of helpful information. Breakfast was plentiful, with great coffee! The breakfast room and courtyard were very pretty, and the whole hotel - decor etc - is calm and elegant. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was spacious with a good shower. Highly recommended, we would definitely choose this hotel again.

A public car park is just around the corner if the hotel doesn't have space in its garage, and the first time we tried to park there were no spaces but after 5-10 minutes we did get a space.
