Anna, who was working each day, was very kind and friendly. She was an excellent cleaner and made a lovely breakfast each morning. Most days I was stuffed so full that I skipped lunch and just had dinner. My room was enormous, but it was the only room available for my dates and the property was so highly rated that I really wanted to try it out. The touches like a local beer being in your fridge, water, coffee & tea available in your room, and delicious treats left for you each day were so thoughtful.
Didn't love the depth of the tub/shower. I'm sure it's amazing for soaking, but I just used it for showers and with my bad knee, it was a bit of a challenge to get in and out! I was above the kitchen/dining area, so on the days I was sleeping in, I was woken up by the noise of other guests. The two chairs in the sitting area of the room have lost their stuffing, but I really only sat in them to put my shoes on, so it wasn't too bad for me.

A fantastic location on the canal. The room was accessed by a small enclosed garden and we had a downstairs sitting room with a fireplace, tea/coffee making facilities and a small fridge. Upstairs was an airy bedroom with bathrobes and slippers and a little basket thoughtfully stocked with toiletry items you might have forgotten. The kingsize bed was comfortable and had bedside cabinets. The ensuite was quite small but it had a very good shower and lovely towels and bathroom products. Breakfast was served in a separate building close by where there was a lovely bright and well appointed dining room. Breakfast was absolutely excellent with a great selection of fruit, yogurt, granola, bacon, eggs, small savoury bites, baked apples, freshly baked breads, coffee and tea- delicious!

It was a great stay in a great place! I am extremely demanding about cleanliness, service and various little things. But I had no complaints about this place. Most often I give a rating of - units. But this place surprised me in a good way and 10 points is a well-deserved rating. The location is worth mentioning separately. This is a wonderful, picturesque, postcard view of the canal surface, which can be enjoyed both from the window and from the terrace on the lower floor. In general, everything was very cozy and homely. With good service and high-quality, varied breakfasts (buffet).

Location. The ambience. The staff. THE BREAKFASTS! We arrived very early, about 10:30 am and of course the room was not ready. Anna welcomed us, gave us coffee and offered breakfast. We were able to leave our bags while we went into town. When we returned the room wasn’t ready but we could relax in the garden. The room faced the canal and exited onto a terrace on the canal. What a lovely place to relax and observe the ducks and their chicks. Heaven.
Umm, there was nowhere but the floor to put our suitcases. A slightly brighter bathroom light over the mirror would be helpful. Minor stuff, really.

Characterful, rustic but cosy property perfectly located close to the market square, quiet & spotlessly clean. Lovely finishing touches like beer in the fridge and Belgian chocolates. Really comfortable bed. Pretty courtyard view at the front, canal view with a private terrace at the back. Lovely log fire. Staff were really friendly, met us on arrival and provided loads of information about where to go, restaurant recommendations etc. Fantastic continental style breakfast, lots of choice, hot & cold options which varied daily. Would definitely stay again.
Care needed with the spiral staircase in Euphraise cottage!

We arrived very late at night and our host was waiting for us. He personally met us and took our luggage upstairs, explained in details about the property, our room and breakfast. Next morning was our wedding anniversary and when we walked into breakfast room they greeted us with “Happy Anniversary” It was very charming. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, freshly prepared and everyday there was something new on the menu. The view from our bedroom was stunning. Bed was very comfortable. We stayed at B&B for three nights and every day we had a pleasant surprise such a piece of cake, chocolate, Belgian beer in the fridge so we could taste all the delicacy of the region We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely recommend it
Couldn’t fault anything

Our cottage was absolutely beautiful…originally built in the 11th century. We enjoyed the fireplace, the garden and the scrumptious (as well as beautiful) breakfasts. Everyone was so pleasant and helpful. We felt appreciated and special. We had to scramble the night before we left and reroute our trip due to a strike at the airport. Tina stopped what she was doing to help us find a new way to our destination and then booked our tickets when she was trying to get to a meeting. Brugge is a must visit location and B&B Canal is definitely special.

Where can I even start ! We stayed here for three nights and they were a dream. From the moment we checked in the whole experience was a delight. Greeted with beer and chocolate on arrival. And each day we came back to stocked up logs and fire lighters, and a sweet treat left. It felt like home Breakfast was flawless. Fresh fruit and warm options everyday, that vary making each morning a treat Over all one of the best places I’ve stayed for the value. It is right next to town and some delightful bars and restaurants Bed was massive and comfy, shower and bathroom were toasty warm, and water pressure was unmatched We will be recommending to all our Friends and hopeful returning

Beautiful house, furnished in a thoughtful way. Our room overlooked the canal and was warm and spacious. The bed was clean and comfortable and the facilities were modern and practical. Breakfast was provided in a beautiful main room flooded with light from a private courtyard and a blazing real fire. Fantastic location only a few minutes walk to the main square. Really made our trip enjoyable knowing we were heading back to such a nice place after a day of walking round the town. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and kind, really looked after us. Highly recommend!

A beautiful setting, right off the historic town centre. Never more than 20 mins walk from anything. The hotel is clean, quaint and traditional with a modern touch. The host is very helpful, friendly and makes you feel welcome. The rooms are on the larger side for Bruges, the breakfast is wonderful with a nice bit of variety and the odd surprise thrown in by the host. If you want to feel like you've been invited to stay at a cousin's home in Bruges this is the place for you, I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
I couldn't add any downsides.
