The location was perfect, right in town and just a five minute walk from the main square. Despite being in the middle of town there was no noise to be heard overnight which was great! The staff were very friendly and housekeeping did a great job every day we were there as well. Good size room, we didn’t use the sauna or pool but we did pop down and have a look and they were very nice as well.

If I’m being picky then the room is ever so slightly dated, but not enough to be a detriment. The lift is also very small but we never had to share it with anyone else during our stay, so it wasn’t a real issue

The location is excellent with just a three minute walk into the Market in the centre of Brugge. The hotel staff were friendly, polite and helpful. Our room was a reasonable size and the bathroom had a spacious walk-in shower. The bed was comfortable and the A/C was easy to control. The bar manager was very welcoming and there was a lovely garden to sit in with your drink in the late afternoon sunshine. The breakfast seemed slightly over-priced at 25 euros each, but there was a very good selection and we spent as much eating elsewhere for breakfast at cafes/restaurants around The Market.

One minor thing but worth mentioning. There was a very low cross-beam in our room on the third floor which you could easily catch your head on if you weren't concentrating going in or out of the bathroom.

Loved the charming personality of the Hotel. A great location near Markt Square - we found a great Indian restaurant, coffee place, chocolates, and more and less than a five minute walk. The room was comfortable and spacious. There was a pool and workout room in the lower level The pool is an indoor grotto style pool. it was nice. The water was cool after a warm day walking around.

As with many older European hotel properties, there are often a few stairs that you have to navigate between the elevator and your room, and Hotel Navarra had six steps on the second floor between the elevator and our room. I say this, not as a criticism, but just a heads up for those who are older and can’t do stairs- as a reminder to ask questions before you book. The same was true for the pool and workout room rooms. You had to go down a flight of stone steps from the lobby. It would’ve been great to have an elevator.

The room was excellent, as was the location. Clean and comfy, with good aircon, a mini bar and plenty of hanging space. The car park was very handy and reasonable. Breakfast was good but no HP brown sauce and the bacon could have been a better quality (not white gristle please). The service however from all staff was excellent and whilst we did not use the pool, we will do so next time, when we stay in December. Lovely staff throughout. The chap in the bar was also great and provided lovely service and awesome snacks, including choclate raisans, yum!

Bacon was a bit cheap.

Our room at the back of the hotel on floor 3 was great, quiet, warm and cosy. The bathroom and shower were good. Plenty of space for clothes and hangers. We were able to park at the rear of the hotel which is safe. Breakfast was superb with sufficient choice. This was our third stay at the hotel and when we return again I will request the same room. The hotel has its own piano bar which was great to finish of the evening.

We booked a superior double room and were allocated a room at the front of the hotel on level 1. It was noisy, draughty, and cold. At night the traffic could be heard and we were woken early morning with it as well. The hotel was able to allocate another room for our remaining days here. Parking expensive ar 25euro a day.

Our room was small but comfortable. It was more than sufficient for a 2-3 day trip. The hotel’s location is really great—just a 5-minute walk to the city center. The fact that it’s on a quiet, peaceful street is also a plus. Housekeeping was excellent. Being able to relax in the sauna and indoor pool and unwind after a long day was another nice touch.

However, it was surprising that there were no towel-slippers provided in a hotel of this comfort level, especially one with a sauna and indoor pool. I didn’t bring any because I assumed they would be available, so I had to go to the pool in my shoes. We had rented a car, but the parking fee was unbelievably high—25 euros! As for breakfast, it was also extremely expensive. However, since it’s best to have breakfast outside and explore different places while you’re here, we didn’t mind that too much.

A great hotel in a great location, a few minutes walk from the main square. The room is clean, tidy, cleaned every day. The staff is very nice. Also, what's good: there is a swimming pool in the basement, you can relax

No dinner/half board option, the room is quite small, the breakfast is average (for example, no fried eggs), you have to ask for coffee separately, there is no vending machine. All in all, a pleasant experience, but 4/5 stars compared to other 4 star hotels.

Lovely hotel in a a beautiful quiet location but very easy walk to everything. Good secure parking. Lovely pool and sauna. Nice terrace (but it rained so we couldn’t use it.) I liked that there were coat hooks and two chairs in the room.

The check in was confusing and we weren’t given important details on how to use the wellness centre. Also When we left to drive to Ghent for the day I was told ‘you’re not supposed to move the car once it is parked here’. How strange. There are no reading lamps. For avid readers this is very annoying. The hotel is very pretty to look at but our room was basic and functional with no embellishments.

Everything was very nice except the younger receptionist that was very short with us when it came to information and directions. She would not look up anything for us . Generally seemed annoyed at our presence . The older two receptionist were delightful and happy to look up information/ give out info and directions. They are extremely pleasant and helpful.

Everything except the younger long haired female receptionist that was unwelcoming and not helpful .

This hotel is in a great location, just off the main square. The facilities including the underground pool and adjoining jazz bar were all great, and the secure luggage room was really handy on check out day.

Only slight issue we had was that of the two rooms we booked on was a little chilly as the weather had started cooling down for autumn, and one was a little noisy being at the front of the hotel opposite the bar on the other side of the road.
