Our room at the back of the hotel on floor 3 was great, quiet, warm and cosy. The bathroom and shower were good. Plenty of space for clothes and hangers. We were able to park at the rear of the hotel which is safe. Breakfast was superb with sufficient choice. This was our third stay at the hotel and when we return again I will request the same room. The hotel has its own piano bar which was great to finish of the evening.

We booked a superior double room and were allocated a room at the front of the hotel on level 1. It was noisy, draughty, and cold. At night the traffic could be heard and we were woken early morning with it as well. The hotel was able to allocate another room for our remaining days here. Parking expensive ar 25euro a day.

Our room was small but comfortable. It was more than sufficient for a 2-3 day trip. The hotel’s location is really great—just a 5-minute walk to the city center. The fact that it’s on a quiet, peaceful street is also a plus. Housekeeping was excellent. Being able to relax in the sauna and indoor pool and unwind after a long day was another nice touch.

However, it was surprising that there were no towel-slippers provided in a hotel of this comfort level, especially one with a sauna and indoor pool. I didn’t bring any because I assumed they would be available, so I had to go to the pool in my shoes. We had rented a car, but the parking fee was unbelievably high—25 euros! As for breakfast, it was also extremely expensive. However, since it’s best to have breakfast outside and explore different places while you’re here, we didn’t mind that too much.

Lovely hotel in a a beautiful quiet location but very easy walk to everything. Good secure parking. Lovely pool and sauna. Nice terrace (but it rained so we couldn’t use it.) I liked that there were coat hooks and two chairs in the room.

The check in was confusing and we weren’t given important details on how to use the wellness centre. Also When we left to drive to Ghent for the day I was told ‘you’re not supposed to move the car once it is parked here’. How strange. There are no reading lamps. For avid readers this is very annoying. The hotel is very pretty to look at but our room was basic and functional with no embellishments.

Everything was very nice except the younger receptionist that was very short with us when it came to information and directions. She would not look up anything for us . Generally seemed annoyed at our presence . The older two receptionist were delightful and happy to look up information/ give out info and directions. They are extremely pleasant and helpful.

Everything except the younger long haired female receptionist that was unwelcoming and not helpful .

This hotel is in a great location, just off the main square. The facilities including the underground pool and adjoining jazz bar were all great, and the secure luggage room was really handy on check out day.

Only slight issue we had was that of the two rooms we booked on was a little chilly as the weather had started cooling down for autumn, and one was a little noisy being at the front of the hotel opposite the bar on the other side of the road.

We stayed on the dates between 8th Monday - 12th Friday April The 2 men that were behind the bar that week were very kind and made us feel welcome. They were such nice men and deserve to be known that they made the stay 10x better. Its a shame I cant remember their names. Also. The waitress at breakfast - again I cannot remember her name (maybe Casandra?) She was young with dark skin and definately worked on the Wednesday and Friday breakfast service. She was very nice and had good conversation. We had a nice joke about how the english loved saying cheers! Most people not from England dont realise cheers means thank you so she was clever and her english was good.

I really cannot complain. Maybe breakfast could be served an hour later. I think it finished 10am and with my sleep issues 11am would have been nicer

The hotel was beautiful and in a perfect location to access the Christmas Market and historic centre of Bruges. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially those in the Jazz Bar who were absolutely brilliant.

The breakfast could have been a lot better for the high cost. There was a limited choice, although everything was cooked well. Clearer labelling and better organisation of the food on offer might help. Also, there were not enough staff members on, so the ones there were rushed off their feet.

The staff were welcoming, helpful, knowledgeable and patient. The rooms were big, spotless clean, well organised and the beds very comfy. The bar and garden were fun with a great recommendation from the staff. Also, the location is perfect. Not too busy an area but just next to everything

The stairs into the swimming pool were a little daunting for my 66 year old mum and the signage in the hotel could be clearer. We got a little lost one morning! Also, we didn't have breakfast because it seemed very expensive.

Great location, very central and easy walking. Comfortable room and lucky to be upgraded which was unexpected. Toiletries could have been little more lux but that’s it. Didn’t eat breakfast there but hotel had listed recommendations for food. Those we tried were great especially Orfeo local Italian, well worth a visit.

A great location, very close to the main square in Bruge, and a beautiful hotel in its own right. We stayed 2 nights, and the room were very clean and tidy and well appointed. The staff were friendly and helpful when we asked for advice or help etc. The hotel has a character in its own right and you certainly feel like you’re staying in a hotel that generations of people have stayed in over 100’s of years.

A small gripe was that the tv in the room didn’t have access to Netflix or any streaming service. Given hopefully most people are out enjoying the town it’s a small thing, but for when you return to the room it would be nice to be able to watch something you like
