A perfect location right in the centre of Bruges. Just around the corner from the main square, and a short walk to all the highlights. Great pub downstairs, (sophisticated not rowdy!) pub reservations a must, even for beer and apps. Apps were creative, delish, friendly bartender, cool popular retro spot! The room was small but very CLEAN, comfy, no AC, spiral staircase, quiet street at night. We parked in convenient & cheap city lot outside of old town and grabbed the free city shuttle bus that runs through town, it gets u within a 3 minute walk of the hotel. (Get off by the Main Square)

Our shower was clean but outdated, good hot water though! Sliding door on bathroom doesn’t offer a lot of privacy, but pub downstairs does have washrooms…

The location is top notch, the building is beautiful and the restaurant downstairs has amazing food and drinks! The bathroom was small but good layout, no problem with that.

We were staying in the triple room, 2x grown-ups and a 5-year old. It’s very warm in the room in the summer , there is understandably no air conditioning considering the building is quite old, but as the windows are just above the bar terrace, the child cannot sleep with windows open. Bar closes around midnight which is no problem for adults, but for a kid it was a bit challenging to fall asleep in the heat and with bar buzz

A lovely little hotel with a fabulous atmosphere. The bar, restaurant and outdoor areas are really welcoming and are vibrant at night. The restaurant seems to be booked up every night so plan ahead for the day after. Staff could not be more helpful. We had small double rooms and although they are small, they were immaculately clean and comfortable with everything you need. There was english channels on the TV if you need a quiet few hours. The hotel is situated 5 mins walk from the central square and the canals. A little gem.

The walls are quite thin and the bedroom doors slam shut so a little noisy at times.

The highlights are definitely the location near the Grote Markt, the very good breakfast, and the knockout beer selection at the bar. The food is excellent, too, for lunch or dinner—pricey but not out of step with the tourist center, and conceptual rather than classic. Tables can get reserved quickly, but if the courtyard is open it's easy to get a table there for a beer or snack.

The rooms are pretty dated and bare-bones, often small. You may be lugging your suitcase up some stairs. Bathrooms are minimal but adequate. Room quality not worth the rate—but again, you're paying for location, and the ease of sipping a great local beer downstairs before crashing.

This was the second time staying here and since the first visit, the rooms have been upgraded and the new beds were exceptionally comfortable. We asked for and received twin rooms. The main lobby area incorporates an adjacent good sized Restaurant/Bar which was heaving on the February Thursday night we stayed. It was populated with a mixed-aged clientele of both locals and hotel guests…it was a very popular venue. The Bar had a good selection of beers and although we didn’t eat there, the surrounding Restaurant tables had good looking plates of food. The location of the hotel is remarkable because it is just one innocuous block from the main square! Our room had a view of the Belfry Tower. Parking was available close by 24hrs a day and about a 5 minute walk - located under the Library in Parking Biekorf. In the morning, breakfast for €15 was exceptional and it was laid out in the same bar where we imbibed the night before. Everything from sweet cakes to homemade jams while scrambled eggs were offered from the kitchen.

Very little not to like about the hotel. Perhaps the micro-bathrooms could have been bigger - but then the room would be smaller! The city-tax always surprises upon check-out so don’t forget to factor that into your budget. Possibly no lift/elevator as we used the stairs.

Service was great. When ever we request hot water for our baby flask or information about the city they were always at hand. No fuss at all, it felt like they were happy to help. The hostess was chilld friendly and accommodating. The building, its interior and exterior, and room was charming and everything you'd expect from an old building in a little gothic city. Sound proofed well from above, never heard any footsteps from above as frequently do in hotel rooms.

On our first night, there was a noisy customer who kept coming in and out of their room, drunk, laughing extremely loudly and shouting, which disturbed our sleep for a few hours, but we appreciate that this was out of the staff's control. Other than that, sleep was fine the next two nights were quiet and noise free.

The hotel is in a great location close to the City centre, and has a very good bar attached to it, which serves an excellent selection of Belgian beers. The bar does get very busy in the evenings, though if you tell the staff you are staying at the hotel they will try to find room for you. The staff themselves are very courteous and friendly and go out of their way to make you stay as good as it can be.

The family room was fine, but didn't have any tea / coffee making facilities which would have been welcomed. Although there was not a lot of space to hang clothes - maybe some hooks near the door for coats would be beneficial.

Such a great spot right off the main square. Breakfast was good. The bar downstairs was awesome. Make sure to get a reservation or hope for a seat at the bar. The staff was wonderful. Always friendly and helpful. Really a great find in the middle of it all!

The four person room and attached bathroom were quite cramped. Although not an issue for us, there are lots of stairs, so if you have difficulty with stairs this might not be the ideal place for you.

The room was overall really comfortable and quiet. The staff was 5 stars, nice, helpful and accommodating. The location is great if you want to be central and equidistant from everywhere in the city whilst still being tucked away in a quiet nook of town. Absolutely great little place, highly recommend!

Privacy in the bathroom was the only issue, as the sliding doors didn't shut all the way which means you can hear everything. Make sure you bring noise cancelling headphones for the person not in the WC to wear :D

Nice charming hotel in the center of Brugge. The location was perfect, we had everything nearby which meant we could return to the hotel for a rest in the middle of the day. The hotel also features a bar at the entrance, where we had dinner there twice, and we loved it.

I don't think it's a significant issue, and it's the kind of problem we could have when staying in a traditional hotel in the city center, but I must note that our room had an uneven floor. The side with the window was slightly higher than the side with the door. For example, the bathroom door couldn't fully open, as it might have scraped against the floor. However, as I mentioned, this didn't pose a problem. The unevenness extended to the bed but was almost imperceptible, and we still had a comfortable night's sleep.
