When we arrived, we were greeted by a very friendly lady who let us check in early since the room was ready. She didn't speak Spanish, but she was very helpful. On the other hand, the room was a bit small. We stayed in the one with the donuts. I think it looks bigger in the photos, but it was still very clean and in very good condition. Very close to the center, a good place.

The location was excellent! Close to the train station, city sights, and restaurants. Could not have asked for a better property location! The property theme was perfect for our chocolate adventure in Bruges. The beds were very comfortable, we slept great!! The hosts provided a great check-in process that was problem free.

The sink in the toilet space; the space was too small and there was simply no use for it. An additional seating area to make the “living” space more inviting & comfortable would be a nice touch, especially for a family. We did not have hot water on our departure day, so that was not a great start to our day.

Service was responding fast to our comunication and gaved us good info like where is the cheapest parking in city. Location of hotel is amazing. In general great place for short stay but prepare your stamina for climbing stares.

Hot water was not working, only on last day we could take proper shower. Also there was information that we can expect shower cosmetics hence hasnt took shampoo which after all had to buy as hotel provided us only with soap. On wall next to window is visible mold! Rooms are also not soundproofed, each night got woke up by coming back to their rooms other tourists.

Super comfy bed, very clean, nice simple and fun decor and a good powerful hairdryer!

When using the shower the lip of the shower tray is too low, so the bathroom completely flooded within a matter of minutes. The water did not drain away quickly so we had to have showers of 2 minutes and then stop, wait for the water to go and then start again. On the first day we had to use most of the towels to soak up the water on the floor.

The location was perfect for exploring the city. It was easy to drop off luggage via car because of temporary parking options. The room was pretty large and had windows that opened wide in order to let in lots of fresh air. Since the room that we were in, #4, is facing south-east, it will probably get quite hot in the summer because there is not air-conditioning in the room. Just be aware of this!

The free coffee provide was horrible .. .maybe very old and possibly also of low quality. I went a few doors down to the supermarket and bought a some new, high quality coffee pads. it should be an easy fix! :) The way the shower is designed, you'll easily get the bathroom door wet. That seems to be the trends since shower curtains in hotels are out these days.

We liked the quirky theme of The Chocolate Suites and also the excellent communication received from the proprietor. The room was clean and well presented and enough for our three night stay. The room was well stocked with coffee, tea and a bonus of some chocolates. The location was excellent, close to centre and with plenty of restaurants nearby. There was also a small, well stocked supermarket a few steps away. The underfloor heating in the bathroom was a nice touch.

The only negative for us was the occasional smell from the sewers (which we have experienced before in other old cities in Europe), but not so much as to upset our visit.

A nicely decorated and fully equipped and functional apartment, in the city center.

The elevator, although working, was unfortunately not available for guests (I never understood the reason) and we had to walk up the stairs to the 2nd floor. This is a serious drawback and did injustice to a truly beautiful apartment.

Loved the large room, chocolate theme was great! Also the mosquito nets are brilliant! Great to be able to sleep with windows open. Location is fabulous. Chocolates were a nice welcoming touch! Everything you may need is there. Coffee tea, hear dryer, soap. Contact w owner went fine.

Beds were too soft in the sense that they felt slept in. Time for replacement I think. Bathroom was great but the shower didn’t have enough water pressure. We would have liked a big mirror in the room. There was enough space for it. Tv didn’t work. Not a huge problem, but would have been a nice to have. I saw another review commenting on this so if there are no channels and no streaming options, I’d suggest to just get rid of the tv altogether. We weren’t able to lock the doors from the inside. Though Bruges seems save, it didn’t feel so nice. Check in is from 3pm! Not 2pm as stated on the booking page.

Fantastic location, walkable distance to all he main sites and from the train station. Lovely touch with the chocolates on the bed on check in. The room itself was spacious and the bathroom was clean.

The pillows were pretty poor and the quality of the towels were not great. but on the whole a great place to stay

Nice large room plenty of space in quiet street. very quiet at night in street....... great idea for decor.

Bathroom fan a little noise takes 15mins to go off. noise neighbours no sound proof for main door to room a sign requires people quiet after 10 especially if have young children. Electrical socket not attached to wall not very Health and and safety.
