The hotel was in a fantastic location, a busy, bustling street with lots of bars and restaurants and sites in every direction. We made use of the car park which was just down the road and very secure and convenient. We didn’t eat the breakfast as we didn’t really like the look of it, so we went to That’s Toast, the Bagel Salon and Hide. All great choices for breakfast. The hotel was linked to the Waffle Wagon with a wonderful outdoor seated area on the canal with a picturesque view. The bar downstairs played live music and had great cocktails. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.

My pillows were a little lumpy. You only get one complimentary bottle of water per room per day. Think this should be two but that’s being pretty picky.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful and set in a very central location, making it easy to explore the city. The view over the canals from our room was stunning, and the room itself was spacious and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable, and breakfast was excellent, offering a huge variety of options to suit all tastes. Overall, though, a lovely stay in a gorgeous setting with great amenities and a fantastic location.

However, there were a couple of small drawbacks. The bathroom had no extraction fan, so it stayed very steamy and damp after showers. Also, the taps in the over-bath shower were awkwardly positioned, which made using it a bit tricky.

The location was fantastic and just a short walk to Market Square and restaurants, as well as being surrounded by chocolate shops and a really cool store selling rock band t-shirts. The Hotel was also within walking distance to the bus stop and landing for canal cruises. We paid extra for a canal view and our room was awesome! It was a loft room with two windows overlooking the canal, which was beautiful, and very easy to pick out when we went for our canal cruise. The room was clean and spacious. Just a note on the door to the bathroom - it was frosted glass. Not a problem for a couple but as I was travelling with a friend it was a bit embarrassing.

That the city tax is an extra charge when you arrive and addition to the quoted price.

The location was fantastic.

The window was broken and potentially dangerous in the room I was given but they put me in a different room when I told them about it. However the second room was not of the same standard. The space in which to hang clothes was directly over the electric sockets and coffee making facilities which was totally impractical and potentially dangerous. Design was not good. The breakfast was mediocre. With an hour still remaining for breakfast, many foods ran out and were not replenished which was disappointing. This happened on a couple of mornings.

Great Central location, lovely building, lovely and helpful staff who helped us find out where to watch the f1! nice room, cleaned daily, safe motorcycle parking (although an alley way with foot traffic, our motorcycle was very safe and coverage by cctv was a massive reassurance)

Although we didn’t inform the staff, which we probably should have (sorry!) some of the lights weren’t working in the room. However if we had of informed the staff of this, given how nice they were, I’m sure this would have been remedied. Maybe a bath mat would be good so we didn’t have to use the towel.

The most perfect location.. It’s ideally situation to enjoy the city and if you choose a canal view room the view is stunning.. The rooms themselves have mostly all you’d need, the hotel is a beautiful old building but it’s simply decorated not necessary in keeping with its heritage, & without too much fuss and you’d probably want to take your own coffee, tea bags & milk (there’s a mini fridge). The room facilities although a little dated, so offer you everything you need and it’s all very clean. The staff were AMAZING!! Nothing was too much trouble, they were all so helpful, kind and happy to help with any question or inquiry.. For the price, I would 100% recommend 😊

We loved the location of our room, right on the canal. We could watch the boats all day. The breakfast was wonderful as was the lady who worked in the breakfast room. Location of the hotel was excellent for visiting the many sites of Bruges. We love our stay.

The mosquitos but it was to be expected being on the canal and no screens on the windows. The view made up for them. No elevator to the bottom floor where our room was located. But we still loved our room.

We booked a budget room with a canal view and it was STUNNING. Such a spacious room with large ceilings, tall windows that open up so you can get the fresh air and drink your coffee on the window ledge in the morning. It was such a beautiful view. The staff were so kind. The location is perfect! So close to so many beautiful and precious landmarks, it truly felt like a fairytale. The waffle house is only a couple of doors down, which has amazing savoury waffles for breakfast. There’s also a torture museum and a witchcraft museum right down the street which were very interesting and knowledgeable, and when you buy tickets for both you get a discounted rate. There’s tons of chocolate shops on our street, and a tin tin gallery as well as other art galleries. The lounge/bar in the basement of the hotel is very nice as well! Very cool down there, it feels like you’re in a cave under water. And the drinks and service are great. There’s really great restaurants just across the street, and the belfry and the historium are in the square (market) just 2 minutes away from the hotel door. The location couldn’t be better. We could see the townhall from our room, and everything was just so surreal and serene. I would absolutely stay here again. They also give you discounts for a bunch of attractions in the area when you stay with them. We forgot to use the discounts lol, but it’s still worth noting :) absolutely loved our stay. Check in and out was also very easy and smooth, and after checking out they took care of our bags for us while we did a few more touristy things before getting our train out. 10/10 don’t hesitate booking!

I absolutely loved this place. We got the balcony room which was amazing. Clean, big room, nicely decorated and a comfortable bed. I thought street noise will be non stop, but we barely heard any. The only noise was from few other guests who were very loud at night, but this isn't the hotel's fault. Location was spot on, could not have asked for better. Close to central area, a lot of shops, restaurants and bars all around the hotel. Staff were nice and welcoming as well. I would definitely stay here again.

I would just say pillows are a bit too big, but this is a personal preference.

The location and the views were a “10”! Fantastic! They had an elevator which was very helpful. Room was very spacious with a canal view. We slept with the windows open listening the patter of canal boats, church bells and pigeons cooing. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Great nightclub bar right on premises.

I specifically looked for a hotel booking with air conditioning. The ad promised air conditioning. There were 2 small fans and one stand up fan in the room. No ceiling fan or AC unit.
