+ The hotel is very cozy and beautiful! We were warmly welcomed by Julia, who showed us around, explained everything, and continued to help us throughout our stay. + The breakfast was healthy and varied, with plenty of fresh fruit. + We also rented bikes from the hotel to explore the city - they were comfortable, came with locks, and cost €15 per day, which is a good price. + The hotel is located on a quiet street, and the room was perfectly silent. There's a grocery store and several cafes nearby, and it was a short walk to the main square. + The room was spacious and clean, and we especially liked the toiletries - high quality and pleasantly scented. We were very satisfied with everything.

- wi-fi, we stayed on the third floor, and the wi-fi signal was very weak in our room. Viewing videos was only possible downstairs at the reception area. - lighting in the hallway. When we returned in the evenings, the corridor was completely dark. The motion sensor lights take a few seconds to turn on, which can feel uncomfortable. It would be better if the hallway lights stayed on during the evening. - room cleaning. The cleaning wasn’t very thorough. The table wasn’t wiped, and no new tea bags were provided.

This hotel is absolute perfection! It’s in an amazing location in the historical centre of Bruges, within a short walk to all attractions and lots of shops and restaurants right around the corner. I loved my stay and was sad to leave. My room was spacious, comfortable and quiet. The bed was cozy and I loved the Codage bath products. Breakfast was so delicious - so much food to choose from, fresh and beautifully presented. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend the hotel to anyone.

My only comment for improvement would be to have more storage at the sink in the bathroom, like more shelving and hooks. And USB-friendly plugs for phones and devices.

Hotel Sablon was recommended to us by friends and we were really happy with the recommendation. The hotel is right in the heart of the main town, just moments walk from the shopping streets and close to the Dam Square. The staff are wonderful and the hotel has such a relaxed and welcoming vibe. They go out of their way to be helpful and informative. Our room was well appointed and comfortable and it was nice to be in the historic centre of Bruges. The bath/shower was compact and took a little bit of fiddling to get the shower to work but that’s just a European thing. I would definitely recommend staying at the Hotel Sablon.

Staff extremely friendly. Location was perfect. Room was spacious. Overall, I would recommend this place and give it high marks but they need to address easily addressable points. Specially since staff was a pleasure to interact with.

We reported that we needed soap bottle to be replenished. It took two days to fix. Before the air conditioning kicked on upon returning to the room every time there was a damp smell in the room. It quickly went away as soon as the air conditioning kicked on.

Great location and very, very friendly staff at the registration desk. The room was spacious and comfy.

The service could be a bit more attentive. When I arrived, there was no soap for handwashing. I got the new soap bottle from the registration desk, but the next day, the service broke the handle, and it stayed like that until I left. The service did not touch the broken handle on the sink. When I left, I noticed that the cover for the lock on the door was gone, which means that anyone could have opened the door and entered the room.

Very nice location, very qualitative breakfast buffet, helpfull staff. Hotel is location center Bruges, walking distance to nearly every attraction, shops and restaurants. Definitely worth the price!

Not really a critique, more of a suggestion, share the link to register the car licence for permit for parking when you confirm the booking. I stayed there on a Saturday and filled in the permet request to park nearby, but the city's mobility department obviously doesn't work during a weekend so I couldn't park in the nearby parking. The other parking was a couple of minutes further so no problem, but it would be more efficient if you share the permit link when you confirm the booking.

Some of the staff at the reception welcoming us at check in did not explain all the facilities and failed informing us about the fact that on Saturdays we should leave the city at 11h00 as the city center is closing. In addition, we paid for a deluxe room and we got the room with facilities for disabled people. They explained that this is the hotel policy while no other rooms were available. On top was also my birthday and they really didn't make an effort to give us what we paid for. Not sure I am recommending this to other people , not choose it myself.

Loved the spacious room we had and the hotel was so lovely! Staff were very attentive , loved the homemade cakes and water in the room every day .

There was always a sewerage smell around the lifts and in our room at first but it seemed to go from our room after a day but could still smell it when you first enter the hotel . Also would have liked milk in the room for our tea in the morning - a member of staff did bring me some up when I asked though, we thought the breakfast was lovely and lots of choice but very expensive !

The room was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable and the shower was good. It included toileres and a good amount of towels (including those mini ones for your face!). The staff was great, with good tips to visit the city. Would stay here again.

Not much, just that the room was a bit darker for my taste and there was a bit of smell when you enter the room, which I believe due to the lack of ventilation. None of these were big deals tbh.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful — the lady at the reception in the evening even took us to our room and explained everything in detail. The room itself was beautiful: modern, yet with charming historical touches. It was spacious and offered a wonderful view of the old town. The breakfast was excellent. Everything about our stay was truly great. I highly recommend this hotel!
