This hotel was a great find in a prime location within easy reach of all the tourist attractions and public transport. Walking distance to a number of places, surrounded by shops, markets, supermarkets etc. I loved the convenience and the proximity to laid back Flamgeno beach just 5min walk away. The staff were exceptional and helpful from the get go. Cleanliness of the rooms was excellent. The gym was across the road although I didn't use it. Breakfast had a good variety and they even prepared my eggs separately as I like it. Just ask!. Overall a lovely stay at Elegance Praia. The rooms are better than in the pictures. I can certainly recommend the hotel and will return when in Rio again.

I was upgraded to a suite room however the room faced inwards and was exposed to continuous noise from the aircons which disrupted my sleep as I am a light sleeper. Although they tried to seal the windows, it didn't help much. I would highly recommend more sound proofing and double glazed windows. Another point, the breakfast could get repetitive after a few days. It didn't bother me much but may bother others. The lighting can also be improved.

Perfect location - city center and ipanema just few minutes with taxi/uber. Copacabana / Urca we even walked from the hotel and flamengo beach is what locals prefere and it was safe there!!

If you open the window from the hotel a million mosquitos will be in your room… that was anoying but after maanaging killing 7 in the first night and 3 in the second we did not have any in the room anymore - but the air gets thick so make sure you only open the windows in the morning

I liked the cleanliness, neatness, breakfast was always delicious many fruits & local delicacies. Me & my family loved. The hotel location was very close to the beach, shops & subway station. It was a very safe location. Staff were very friendly & super smiling & helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to Freinds. Thank you.

I found all at the level of my satisfaction,,, room, bed, comfort etc OK Breackfast was also very good, however, I think that a small effort should be done in term;s of diversification Exemplo: The entire week scrambled eggs and sausages were served. Introducing fried egs and tomato, some beens would be acceptable, as well as mashroom if possible

Its a little gem. It is right next to nice Flamengo beach in the Guanabara Bay. Very well connected to the beaches on one side and all the big city attractions on the other. The staff are really the brightest spot for this hotel.

Check-in was quick and the staff was very friendly. The hotel is located close to Flamengo beach and two metro stations - Catete and Largo do Machado, which is perfect if you are walking to other locations. It is not close though to main touristic places such as Copacabana and Ipanema. The room has plenty of space and the air conditioner works very well.

There was a little mold on the walls of the bathroom (probably people of the high humidity and low air circulation). But the turn-off was the Wi-Fi. It worked intermittently, so I was constantly using my mobile data to browse the internet.

Staff very helpful. Location is very good. My room is larger then I expected (in fact larger than many hotels I lived in in many countries). Smart TV with YouTube connectivity. Laundry service is good.

Very old noisy air-con. No kettle. No glasses for drinking use. Towels are quite old.

The hotel offers free parking, which is rare. Breakfast was good and it could be brought back to the room as well. Room was very simple but clean and bed was comfy.

Everything turned out good it just the only thing that I was unaware of when I got my room I have one bedroom I was supposed to have two beds for three rooms

Location was really good. Central to most things and staff were very helpful. Rooms were very spacious. Mini bar is well stocked and prices were good.

Would have loved access to coffee either in the room or at reception.
