Clean and modern facilities. Spacious room and bathroom with a great shower. Good wifi and blackout curtains. Friendly staff. The breakfast was great and the rooftop pool area was awesome.

The location is central and close to lots of restaurants and shopping, but the neighborhood is a bit gritty. Daytime was fine but there were quite a few homeless and hustlers at night.

Good location, between the center and the south part, close to a metro station. Good breakfast.

Location was excellent - Flamengo beach was very near, about 10 min to walk and also metro station was ca 5 min walk distance. Nearby were many restaurants and bars, supermarket and commercial center, big open air market. The breakfast was good, ablot of fruits (water melon, mango, melon, papaya etc), avocado, cold cuts of cheese and ham, a lot of pastries and some warm dishes. There was a swimming pool on the roof with bar and possibility to order some dishes and drinks. Also steam sauna was good after a long day. In the room there was very wide bed. Fridge was very nessesary to keep some drinks and water. The personal was very frendly and with good knowledge of english

I missed some fresh salad at the breakfast (tomato, cucumber, lettuce)

Clean, well-kept room and bathroom.

A staff member called the room and woke me up in the morning. She wanted me to come to the front desk to provide documentation that the night staff should have gathered when I checked-in the night before. I told her that I wanted to sleep. I said I would provide the documentation when I was ready to come to the front desk. She insisted, and forced me to go to the front desk to bring the documentation. We argued and I couldn't go back to sleep. I was quite upset because I arrived in the middle of the night, was very tired from a very long flight, and thought she was unreasonable. All other staff were great!

It’s an old building, everything about the hotel is pretty dated, but you can tell it used to be of category. Bed was comfortable and spacious, we could see Christ Redeemer from our window and from the pool on the 10th floor ! Breakfast was varied and good, people were overall nice Well connected with metro nearby and relevant stores/markets

Plugs in the room were directly over the center of the bed. ThAt’s a very strange position and awkward to charge electronics overnight

Very close to the underground and walking distance to a very nice food court, loads of local shops around and safe neighbourhood. The food for room service was absolutely fantastic, the sharer platter was huge and delicious, the reception staff always friendly, helped us book a last minute excursion that was fantastic experience. Rooftop area with a view to Christ the Redeemer statue was great, with a little swimming pool and sit down area.

Very clean hotel. Nice terrace with swimming pool on the roof of the hotel. Good breakfast, stuff working in the restaurant is polite. When dealing with two issues that arose with the safe box and in the bathroom, the clerks were very efficient. The geographical position of the hotel is good. Big safe box.

Breach of agreement on payment on the spot but forcing payment in advance, even though the option to pay on the spot was sent when booking. Small room and small closet.

Very good breakfast, very friendly staff and excellent strategic location for Rio de Janeiro with good access by Metro, taxi or Uber to beaches, night life, restaurants, St. Teresa, Centrum, Corcovado etc., on top they have a decent roof top pool and a small sauna, as well as a small gym. Quite good level on cleanliness.

To make it even more perfect, gym equipment could be updated. The rules on late-check out could have been more transparent, but just a minor issue.
