Excellent location by the beach and metro station, the breakfast was good; a choice of bread, cheese, ham, and fruit. The kitchen was well equipped, and the beds were really comfortable. I would definitely return!!

The rooms were really hot, and the wifi didn’t work in the room. It’s also worth knowing that the rooms are up a steep, narrow, winding staircase, so not ideal for anyone with a lot of luggage.

The owner is the most nice host ever! Its a very good Price for being a hostel at Ipanema which is one of the more expensive places in Rio. The Female doorm was very good, a lot space between the beds compared to a lot other hostels I stayed at. The bathroom was very clean! They have a kitchen, I did not use it myself but its very useful for longer stays. Good location, barely even 5 minutes walk to Ipanema beach! Also FREE BREAKFAST was a big bonus!!!! Most hostels you have to pay around 30-60 R$ for breakfast in Rio which I consider expensive for being hostels, but here it was included!! Thank you so much for hosting me :)

During the time I was there, it was a bit empty, which I thought was something very nice, but if you want to be very social, this hostel is maybe a bit too calm :) its also good to be aware that if you stay in the female dorm its a couple of narrow stairs you have to walk with your suitcase (it can be a bit heavy but its ok).

This was the perfect place as a solo traveler. I rented a private room. It's nothing fancy but it did the job, it was clean and had hot showers. I was very worried being in Rio alone but this hostel is in a great and safe location. It's one block away from Ipanema Beach, and you have a myriad of restaurant options as well. There is a lot of shopping nearby and there are two malls just a 15 minute walk away. The staff and Martha was also very friendly and helpful. Plus having breakfast included every day doesn't hurt either. I am really happy to have stayed here for my first time in Rio! Highly recommended 😊

It was a good price and it was pretty comfortable. The breakfast was good. You could prepare a sandwich. There were few fruits available.

They ran the Air conditioner super cold at night. Me and other hosts asked the staff to lower the temperature, but they said it was not possible. The blankets they gave us were not enough. If they had managed this problem, it would have been a 10.

Location is incredibly good! Markets, restaurants, pharmacies, beach, subway.. staff is very friendly, thoughtful and always try to help 10/10

In the male bathroom would be good to have a small shower beside the toilet (gay friendly thing)

Friendly and helpful staff, clean, very good common area, the choice for breakfast. Great location, everything needed is nearby, the subway station, lot’s of options to have some snack, meal or drinks, and the beach as well being just a few steps from the property. Silent bedrooms, can open the window and no car noise.

Some of the bathrooms are tiny. Lockers a bit outdated and need repair.

Great value. Very close to the beach, bed was comfortable, staff was awesome and breakfast was very good. The bathroom is inside the room in most rooms, which is good, but the one in my room could use some reforming. This was actually the only thing that didn't strive for me.

Location is amazing and hostel has everything you need. Staff was nice and took care of everything! We were in the familyroom with my friend and is was amazing to have big room, balcony and own bathroom for that price. I totally recommend.

Good ambiance, speak English, good breakfast (no eggs, but some toasts, cheese, ham, fruiits). Great emplacements, just one building from the beach.

Dirty shower, dirty dormitory, no curtains for the bed (no intimacy), no towel included, no individual lamp, no soap in the toilet.

The staff were amazing! nothing to complain. My friends and I were happy with the room, because it was really comfy and clean. The location is perfect and well located. For sure we are going return someday.

The tax for have a shower after the check out. R$30 per person I think it's a lil bit too much.
