Amazing staff, location, facilities were all great! Would recommend to others.

Room facing internal courtyard of plant including our own. Could hear the condenser every time we turned on the A/C. Currently there is a building adjacent under construction, noise was not an issue but was not notified of this on booking. Walkways off construction would overlook our windows so often had to have curtains drawn. Rented some bikes and enjoyed this however bikes and rusty chains may need some maintenance. These are all minor notes as we would still visit again.

Location and services bere really really good! The restaurant downstairs is also good with flexible working hours. The staff, in general, is extremely kind, professional, and always ready to help!! (The only exception was during check-out, where a lady was particularly rude, which was disappointing compared to the otherwise excellent service)

The room was far too small, especially considering the high price paid. There wasn’t even enough space to open a suitcase comfortably around the bed. We requested a slightly larger room, given that we were staying for a week, but no one followed up on our request. The building facing the inner side of the hotel was undergoing major renovations, with workers on-site every day. As a result, there was significant noise in the room every morning. Unfortunately, the outdated windows offered little to no soundproofing, making the noise even more disruptive. Sounds from the corridor were clearly audible inside the room, particularly during the morning cleaning hours. This made it difficult to enjoy a peaceful or restful start to the day.

The staff was the highlight of my stay. I was a few days working during and after breakfast and remained in the restaurant area for quite some time and the staff was so attentive and always happy and joyful to be surrounded with. The front desk was very helpful, and smiling every time you approached them. The staff who maintain the rooms it's amazing, my room was 9 days looking as if I just checked in, smelling delicious, and neat. As a plus, they were leaving some sweets as well after cleaning, super nice detail :) The option to have room service from the restaurant downstairs is a big plus! Quiteria has delicious food and a great ambience, some days live music as well, I do recommend to have dinner there as well! When it comes to the location, it's less than 100mt from Ipanema's beach, you can get the towels at the reception and enjoy the beach as they have available for you the equipment for it. I'd be back and I will recommend this hotel to friends and colleagues, no matter the age as it's suitable to all ages. Thank you to all the staff for an amazing Rio experience!

If you come to Rio for the beach and sights - it’s a perfect choice. It’s located in the heart of Ipanema and is just 2 min from the sea. Rooms and design are clean and wonderful. We felt right at home and safe. They have their own beach service. Breakfasts are the best - you can choose 2 dishes, drinks and coffee from the menu included - and best coffee we’ve had in the whole Brazil. Staff is very nice and helpful. Plenty of good restaurants nearby, we recommend to check Zaza. Overall the area feels quite safe.

The price could be lower taken into account the construction work in the neighbouring building which our room windows faced. And there is nor a poor or it’s private territory, so if the weather is bad by the sea there is not much to do.

They could have warned us about the construction happening next to the hotel. I booked a courtyard room for quiet, but it was next to an active construction site.

Everything! It was amazing from the moment we walked in. Staff were attentive, friendly and incredibly professional. The room was lovely and cosy, bed was comfortable and facilities in general were great. The breakfast in the morning is lovely, you get to choose a la carte from their menu, so nice variety and good to get the option! It’s within 5 mins walking distance to ipanema beach and 10-15 mins walk from amazing restaurants, shops and cafes so location wise it’s ideal. They have their own slice of beach in collaboration with one of the tents. Really nice to get beach chairs and umbrella included as part of our stay. We found it to be great value for money and a perfect stay.

Nothing, it was honestly perfect for what we needed

We loved Ipanema Inn, the rooms were cozy and comfortable, the showers had great water pressure and were clean, the breakfast was delicious (the restaurant in the hotel is yummy for any meal). The best part was the wonderful staff (shout out to Fred!). The staff were so warm, welcoming, and kind. The staff help you with anything you want and can help organize anything for you. The hotel service was phenomenal and the staff are super attentive! My husband enjoyed the free futevolei class and we went to the beach a block away from the hotel. The metro is also so close and the hotel is so close to so many good bars and restaurants too. Wonderful location!

Everything was amazing, there wasn't anything we didn't like.

We loved our stay at Ipanema Inn. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was clean. The restaurant had very nice food, whether it was for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The location was very easy and safe, with direct access to the beach and free towels provided. The hotel also provided bikes free of charge for a tour of the nearby lake, which made for a very memorable experience. I totally recommend staying at Ipanema Inn. We will definitely choose it again if we come back to Rio.

The cleanliness, the comfy bed, the chocolates every evening on my bed, the kind reception staff. That is was so close to the Ipanema beach.

There was no good isolation of the windows: noise from the ongoing construction sites near by and from the ongoing parties on the neighbouring bars till early in the morning. That the personnel who served breakfast didn't speak English and it was rather difficult to order things. As the days passed it was easier but I would have preferred the option of having a buffet and pick what I like myself.

The overall experience here was excellent. The breakfasts each morning were fantastic, I looked forward to them each day. Very generous, delicious breakfasts and great coffee. Fresh orange juice and cappuccino every morning. I had dinner here too and it was quite good. The staff here very extremely friendly and helpful. There is a security guard 24/7. They offer a pass to the gym a few blocks away. Also close by is Nosso (great bar/restaurant) and the park. The hotel is like 100m from the beach, very well located (though i'd recommend Sel d'ipanema beach club at 121 vs. the one "included" with the hotel). Rooms were cleaned everyday and with turn down service. The rooms were not extravagant/very large but I'd say overall this was a luxury experience.

I'd say rooms could be bigger but that's life sometimes.
