We really enjoyed the studios/family suites, which were quite large and very new and comfortable. Also I was impressed by the restaurant's staff, who were all very attentive and professional. The food at the restaurant was quite decent and there was some very nice Bulgarian wine for purchase, so we enjoyed our meals there.

While the hotel is a short walk to the beach, it is situated on a busy street. It got quite loud both nights that we stayed there with what seemed to be a nightclub in close proximity. It's a very small thing, but I did not like that there was no coffee or tea available in the rooms. 2 coffee capsules were included as a courtesy upon arrival, but beyond that we had to purchase coffee capsules at reception. It's not about the expense (which was very small) but I think for a four star hotel, coffee and tea being available as a courtesy throughout the whole stay is pretty standard.

The suites are modern,spacious and clean. The WC zone is a bit small, but overall the bathroom area was great. The air conditioning was also great. Nice, big beds with comfortable mattresses. The swimming pool is clean and safe, the water is warm and there is a lifeguard available onsite. Close to the center and to a park with facilities for children.

A big minus and what we did not like was the bad food in the restaurant. For example a simple chicken soup was foul smelling and tasteless and the Ceaser salad was nothing but lettuce and some pieces of chicken, would recommend to eat outside. The park spaces are mainly on the street around and in front the hotel (public) if you’d like to have a private parking ( as mentioned in the facilities) you need to pay ( less than 10 EUR per day)

As we are old customers, get benefit from free room upgrade and not for the first time. Breakfast is about the same every day of the year, but dinner is different. Not crowded in end of January, nice and helpful staff.

Indoor swimming pool unavailable, probable to optimize costs since opening of The Aquahouse Thermal & Beach facility nearby the beach with cost for two persons only for access and bathrobe of about 50 Euro for weekdays and 60 Euro during weekends. Slow WIFI, that is unusual for Romance Hotel.

Excellent location- 5 minutes walk to the beach, 5 minutes also to all the good restaurants, many shops around…it’s also extremely easy to get to Varna, with a 10-15 minute taxi ride. The staff are always very caring and helpful, the food tasty, healthy and abundant, perfect place to have a real break, and relax. Very good value for money, with spacious rooms.

The bathroom facilities are a bit basic, but again as we were always at the beach not a problem.

Big room and comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Very nice pool, not too crowded. The hotel is in a quiet area, close to a shop. The staff was polite and very helpful. The air conditioning in the room was the best one that I encountered in a hotel room: zero level of noise, zero draft, but very efficient in keeping the temperature that we wanted.

There were some problems with the bathroom, but nothing serious. Even though the smoking is forbidden in the rooms since a while, the smell is still present in the room. At least it was in ours. The coffee from the breakfast was average at best. As I said below, the staff was polite and helpful, but I could see them very tired in the evening and not so happy to help anymore. I don't know the legislation in Bulgaria, but I think the employees were working too many hours.

This hotel is located in an excellent area. There is only 5 minutes walk to the public free beach. There is an excellent swimming pool. We took half board. It was enough- plenty of food choices in the buffet in the morning and evening.

Our bathtub and toilet were leaking. We complained to the receptionist. They sent a plumber but he didn’t do anything. We were also told that other rooms had the same problem. It didn’t bother us but we were afraid that the water would leak downstairs. If they didn’t bother fixing it, it is their problem.

The hotel is well positioned, close to beautiful beaches. It has nice pool and garden areas. The breakfast was good, dinner also good and different every evening. Free parking is available on site. We got an upgrade to a family apartment in the new building. Excellent value for money, the conditions were amazing! The new building is so beautiful.

Daily room cleaning was pretty superficial. Lots of wasps around the pool, probably with nests in the trees next to the fish tank. No one got stunk, but scary with so many around, some are huge. Breakfast coffee could be improved.

Nice hotel like always, we use to book almost yearly for 3-4 days in June, this time get benefit from room upgrade to superior double with nice view over the outdoor swimming pool. Not so crowded during the week days, but during weekends some additional visitors may rise, mainly from the apartments from the next door location, sharing the outdoor swimming pool, free sunbeds and umbrellas.

Slow WIFI, insufficient umbrellas at the outdoor swimming pool, the indoor swimming pool and Spa unavailable due to maintenance.

the staff are lovely and very helpful, very quite area and didn’t hear much noise once in the rooms. Beds very comfy and there was a good amount of sun loungers for everyone at the hotel. Loved the birds!

More options for breakfast, especially more into dietary requirements. The main hotel is lovely but compared to the new apartment block, it feels like there is now a large difference in comfort and quality.

Food was ok and plenty, room was big and was cleaned/arranged every day. Water in the pool was clean and warm, nice Location overall and not so far from the beach, maybe a 5 minutes walk. Really nicely kept garden and poolside.

1. there is an outdated feel to it. It would require some renovation and more modern fixtures. 2. we booked 2 rooms through booking and money was taken from the card for one of them, but at arrival we were charged for Both rooms, as they Could not see the money in their System. Thought it was an Error, so we paid, and then realized after checkout that the money for the second room was withdrawn. We resolved the Situation with the help of booking, but was still a Little stresfull, as these details were not extremely clearly stated.
