A fabulous, quiet haven in the midst of the frantic busyness of the city. Such a wonderful surprise on walking through the entrance - the serene lush gardens, sparkling pools & the wonderful old buildings which have been kept in tact with original details preserved but modernised as necessary. Everywhere from the gardens to the pools & importantly the room was kept beautifully clean & the rooms provide great aircon & all the amenities you could require. Our pool room was pure luxury to come back to after a days exploring & the two other pool also looked very inviting. We enjoyed the free flowing coffee, tea & cookies by the Sun Pool & also Happy Hour next to the Lush Pool. The all inclusive a la carte breakfast menu was delicious & the choices great & varied. The restaurant had so many delicious dinner choices we did not need or wish go out anywhere else. The staff - well they are all amazing, always helpful always smiling. A special mention for Dina - she’s such a star! They made a great stay just the best. Highly recommend this boutique hotel & would love to return one day.

Formerly being the residence of the King’s consort, the place has been transformed into an intimate place at a central part of town. This hotel truly deserves to be called ‘boutique’. No grand entrance but guests arrive through a modest door, that adds to the excitement when entering the tropical garden and stylish reception in colonial style. There are 2 beautiful pools with free coffee, tea & cookies available all day. The restaurant offers a great breakfast. Regular prices are bit higher than outside but the cosy atmosphere and high quality certainly make up for that. All rooms seem to be different, I certainly liked mine for the beautiful furniture and large bathroom We didn’t experience any noises from outside as I had read in the reviews.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel! The lush greenery and architecture gave the hotel a true oasis feeling in the middle of the city. Our room was beautiful and the bed super comfortable. Great location in walking distance of many sights and popular restaurants. The staff was very kind and helpful. The pools were great to relax in after (and/or before) a hot day. We will definitely stay here again - I can only recommend it to anyone!

The breakfast was delicious, but since the menu stayed the same and was rather limited, it was getting a bit difficult to choose something that would satisfy us by the third day. But this is just a minor thing - we still enjoyed it.

I came here on a solo trip while waiting for my Vietnamese visa, as my girlfriend couldn’t join me. I was genuinely impressed by the quality of the place — everything was perfect. Properties rarely look as good as they do in photos, but this one looks even better in person. The setting was stunning, everything was spotlessly clean, and the breakfast was incredible: à la carte, with the freedom to order as much as you like!

Honestly, I can’t think of anything I didn’t like. The shower was a decent size, though the door opened inwards, which made it a little tricky — but that’s more of an observation than a real issue.

Tranquility and location. Staff were mostly very attentive but when.not paying attention in serving areas it was a little noticeable. They were all lovely though. Breakfast was outstanding with plenty of choice and was unlimited. Pools are lovely. We had a private pool too, which was amazing. Mosquito protection was second to none - nets & zapper in room, and sprays on every table at lush bar area. 2nd visit after 7 yrs ago and we love it just as much. This a a definite go-to place in Phnom Penh.

Wine selection was limited - bearing in mind there is an excellent wine retailer around the corner. Also, wine was not included in happy hour drinks selection. Finding good wine in SEA can be difficult at times so we felt that the Pavilion was missing a trick there. Although not the fault of the hotel, the tuk tuk drivers outside are a bit harrasing - use for a full day but for short hops around town, use Grab - so quick and cheap.

This property is an oasis in a big, noisy city, with peaceful gardens, 2 swimming pools, poolside dining and attentive service. The included breakfast had many options, the Happy Hour was very popular and the lunch and dinner menu was also diverse and well presented. We were a little envious of our friends who took the private pool room and encourage anyone who can fit this into your travel budget to take advantage of this marvelous upgrade.

We had a standard double room here, which was roomy and well appointed, but all windows were glazed, so having no outside view for 5 days felt a bit cavelike.

From my first interaction emailing the Pavillion with booking questions, to our warm farewell from staff, my 10-day stay was a delight. The heritage building has been tastefully made into a small, boutique hotel and the lush pool is a sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of Phnom Penh. I used the hotel bikes to explore the riverside and visit nearby markets and cafes (Backyard Cafe makes great food for those, like me, with lots of allergy needs). The chef and wait staff were excellent and had magically been briefed on my allergies, knowing what to bring or avoid, making dining in easy and fuss-free. Our quiet suite accommodated our 18yr daughter comfortably in her own little nook, and the rooms are stylishly decorated. The veranda overlooking the pool was beautiful and secluded. But it is the staff that really makes this place - organising tours and cars (for not inflated prices), giving information about the city, helping weigh bags for pre-flight departure, sourcing electric plugs, making great cocktails, giving good massages.. nothing seemed too big an ask. We will definitely be back!

The hotel is an oasis, with relaxing open areas, plenty of trees and is very quiet, despite being just off the road - once you are inside the gate, it is a different world! The staff are all amazing, and cannot do enough for you. They remember me from previous trips, and that makes it even better!

The bed's do not have a headboard, and the pillows fall off the bed which does not make for the best nights sleep. The rooms in the old building do creak and rattle, which is charming but noticable at night. If you are really worried about that, there are new rooms/buildings

An absolute delight. This hotel was like a secret garden oasis when stepping in from the busy street. Be prepared for a jungle to welcome you in the best possible way. You have the choice of two private and beautifully designed swimming pools. The hotel is full of culturally rich artwork, contemporary and traditional. The staff could not have been more warm or welcoming. The complimentary breakfast was made to order and delicious. The room turned out to be a suite which was huge and luxurious with lots of small special touches. I cannot recommend The Pavilion highly enough.

Outstanding location in central Phnom Penh close to the Royal Palace, National Museum, Independence and Constitution Monuments, great restaurants and much more. The hotel is a very nicely renovated historical building with a lovely lobby, spacious and quiet rooms and an expansive pool with an outdoor bar/restaurant. The outdoor areas are very quiet and comfortable despite the busy street just outside the hotel. The food in the restaurant and the happy hour at the bar were fantastic. Staff were very friendly, helpful and spoken outstanding English. We would definitely stay again at the Palace Hotel.
