The property was very clean. The bed was comfortable, and the shower was absolutely incredible, in fact, probably the best shower I’ve had anywhere in my travels. The bar and restaurant is open very late, which is useful when you come back from an event like the stampede. The reception people were always very friendly and if we needed anything, nothing was too much trouble.
For some reason, they interchange the serving staff with the bar duties so on an evening where I had four old-fashioned every single one came differently, two had no cherries, one had no orange, you get the picture.

There are a number of airport hotels at YYC. Clique is located in the north west end of the airport. When you get to the airport, call the hotel and they will let you know when the hotel shuttle will be coming next. The hotel room were clean and spacious. There isn't much happening within walking distance of the hotel. There was one on site restaurant. The Westin about 10 minute walk away had a lovely restaurant as well. The hotel was quiet despite being so close to the airport.
Hope Clique and Applause Hotel by Clique shared the same property. I stayed at Applause last time and was expecting breakfast to be included, only to found out that only Applause guests get free breakfast but not Clique guests.

The Hotel Clique at Calgary airport proved really exceptional as a convenient, affordable airport hotel, our aim for the our first two nights on a two-week trip through Western Canada. The property (and its contiguous, slightly more expensive sister hotel "Applause") is bright and stylish, with a kind of mid-century modern, Scandinavian look. (The most immediate or obvious difference between the two "wings" of the overarching facility, besides maybe about 10-15% in price, seemed to us to be the inclusion of breakfast at the Applause; the two properties share a fitness room and 2 rooftop hot tubs.) We enjoyed the attractive fitness areas and found the beds at Hotel Clique comfortable and the rooms well-appointed otherwise. Very important to us: the windows overlooking the nearby highway and (visible at a distance) airport facilities are so thick/well-insulated that we heard nothing at all. It was one of the quietest, most restful hotels we've stayed at. Best of all (and a primary reason for our choosing this property): the 24-hour free airport shuttle, which came promptly (also after midnight, after our flight was badly delayed) and was available also for trips to the airport for us to get public transportation to downtown Calgary (which unexpectedly-to-us large and cosmopolitan city we very much enjoyed the one full day we were there). A rather slow and infrequent city bus runs from the airport to downtown, so we ended up taking a taxi to get there in time for our city walking tour; that taxi cost about CA $40--rather pricey, we thought. On our return, we were able to travel by light rail and bus for less than CA$4 each, to get within a 5 min. walk of the hotel. An outstanding strength of the property is the excellent staff, both at the desk and the shuttle drivers, all of whom were unfailingly attentive, professional and friendly. It was a real pleasure to stay at the Hotel Clique, which we highly recommend.
Except for the on-site bar and restaurant, the Tonic (which seemed to feature burgers and other such pub fare, plus afternoon pancakes, somewhat in the Scandinavian style, apparently), we saw no where in walking (or even very quick and clear driving) distance to eat. We ended up having granola bars (and apples from the lobby, that a nice touch) for breakfast and then enjoyed a very good and varied lunch and dinner in downtown Calgary, before returning for the night (and another granola bar next morning: we weren't attracted by the option of a paid breakfast at the Tonic).

The shuttle bus drivers are outstanding ! I see the same drivers every time I stay there. Front desk staff also really professional. Room is nice and the bed is super comfortable.
Coffee maker is minimal and coffee tasted like some kind of Nasty. Only sugar- no stevia or even cheap Splenda. For a nice hotel you think they could spend a few pennies for some decent coffee mate and stevia sweetener. Water was not as hot as I like it for a decent shower. No microwave. I like to be able to heat up a sandwich or something and not have to go down to the restaurant to get something hot to eat. A cheap microwave is only about $40 on sale at Walmart or Costco. To me no hotel room is decent unless it has a microwave. I’m being generous giving this hotel a rating of superb because it doesn’t really deserve one.

I had a great one-night stay here before a flight. The room was clean, comfortable, quiet, and relaxing. I enjoyed the robe, the tub, the various little amenities. It was a short ride to and from the airport and the staff was friendly. The late-night restaurant and bar on-site was a great option, even tho I didnt need it I was glad to have the choice.
The front desk is really busy. I spent too long, IMO, on hold waiting for shuttle confirmation and spent time in line both checking in and out, but the staff was simply always busy with other customers. IMO, they could use another employee up there to smooth out the few wrinkles I encountered.

The room was so comfortable. Unfortunately I wasn't there long enough to enjoy the hot tub or gym but having those available was a bonus. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was nice and quiet for me after a 10 hour flight and the beds were very comfortable. The shuttle was convenient and I was given a bottle of water when I was picked up from the airport which was a nice touch! The shower was AMAZING, there was coffee, tea, water, and a well rated restaurant on site - I didn't expect everything this hotel had to offer and would highly recommend it.
Absolutely nothing to complain about.

Nice, clean. modern rooms. Comfy beds, (my 13 yr old son liked the LED lights under the bedframes), they actually give you a comforter thick enough to retain heat. Cool bathrooms with waterwall showers and televisions. Didn't attempt the hot tubs on the roof, (it was -30C all weekend), but other folks were in them and looked like they were enjoying it. Really fast elevator once you got on.
Would have used a microwave if room had one. As cool as the shower was, it was sort of hard to figure out the first time without spaying yourself or the bathroom floor. They must have a deal for customer airport parking as the Friday and Saturday stay took a while to find a spot quite far from the hotel, most of the close vehicles looked like they had been sitting for a while, but were gone by Sunday. The property is a little out of the way, unless you specifically need it for the airport.

The room was nice, clean, not obviously worn, with very nice artwork on the walls. The shower unit was one to write home about. The bed was comfortable. The room 'space' was pleasing, and comfortable. I used the office centre which provided what I needed. The gym and hot tubs were good. The restaurant served me good food at a reasonable price (I had the beef vindaloo). The staff were professional and pleasant. The cost of the room was fair. The only downside was the noise in the corridor after 10pm; in my mind this is not the fault of the hotel but of the guests... just loud voices talking.
The loud voices in the corridor after 10pm. Otherwise, everything that was in the control of the hotel and staff was excellent. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel has a shuttle to and from the airport. It’s a seven minute drive. Parking is free, there is a quality bar and restaurant on the main floor. The rooms have lit makeup mirrors and a small tv in the bathroom! Everything was super clean and the front desk staff were amazing. There are two rooftop hot tubs with a bartender available! That was pretty cool! There is a casino 50 feet away from the front door. I was pleasantly surprised with all the amenities for such a reasonably priced airport hotel!
I wish it included breakfast.

The location, spacious and comfy room, and somewhat peaceful rooms. The roof top pool, too, on a sunny warm day/ evening.
The restaurant. It's hit or miss. Some days/nights, you'll get your food. The rib eye steak was undeniably delicious! Everything cooked to the right temperature, and the add ons were just as great... if not better than expected. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case for me for breakfast. I ordered 3 pancakes. I waited an hour for them to be delivered to my table, and they were crap! It was like they forgot about my order and then rushed it by placing it in the microwave. They expected a tip. I watched other guest arrived in late, and they received their meal long before I had mine. I'll go to the dinners, but definitely take a pass with breakfast... what a joke!
