Easy check in; room meets expectation. We travelled to Jasper but decided to drive another hour to live here because hotel rooms are much more affordable here. The view along the drive was fantastic.

It is a good basic place. Good comfortable bed. Ample parking. Breakfast was good food too. Only thing I would improve on is the lack of good lighting, especially by the bathroom sink, and the lack of plugins. The fridge, microwave and floor lamp where all unplugged. It was a good thing that I brought a power bar for my computer and other electronics. That said, it was very clean, staff was wonderful and helpful.

The room was clean and fresh. The linen was very clean and new. The shower and kitchenette were quite nice. The whole room appeared to be recently renovated. The included breakfast was really good!

Our room had thin sheers and we had to hang a blanket in the window to block out the sun in order to sleep. One of the beds needs a replacement box spring.

As expected

Pricing. Since the Jasper fire you've doubled your rates. Can't take advantage of increased business opportunity when you're driving it away with too high pricing. This is a $150 max/night stay. Sorry, just being honest.

The staff at Tara Vista Inn were so accommodating. Cathy made sure that we were comfortable with the room we requested. She’s so nice and friendly. All the staffs at the Tara Vista Inn are very helpful and friendly. Room is clean and quiet. And that’s what we were looking for. And to add, awesome breakfast. Thank you so much.

The location was great, with it being located right off the highway and nestled between everything you need. Staff was very friendly and the check-in process went very well. Despite being close to the highway we didn't hear much if any highway traffic. The interior of the room was clean and well maintained, but it is dated. However, we slept really well as both the bed and sleeper sofa were very comfortable.

The access to the Inn was blocked by road construction, which was no fault of the Inn Staff. The Road Crew were very accommodating though, and the construction noise stopped by 8pm and didn't start until after 8am the following day.

The room was recently renovated with laminate floor (not carpet) and was very clean. The room has a desk, a small round table with 2 chairs, a small TV, larger-size fridge, a microwave and coffee maker,

There were no hangers, but this was not a major problem to us.

Was pleasantly surprised as didn’t as expect much for the price. Also very surprised at how quiet it was. Very clean and comfortable for older style motel. Nice to have vinyl flooring rather than carpet, comfortable bed. Staff was great, breakfast good. Would definitely stay there again.

We've been staying here for over ten years. They have been undergoing extensive renovations over the last number of years and it shows. Every time we stay things keep getting better.

A/C units could use updating, as could the mattresses. I'm sure it will happen in the next few years.

The staff - a hotel is a building, a room are four walls... but it is the staff that makes this property a great place to where to stay. Anytime we are in the area, this is the location where we will always be.
