For a hotel at the cheaper end of the market, the facilities were very good. My stay was just an overnight stop while travelling, so my requirements were simply a clean room, a hot shower and a comfortable bed, all of which were amply catered for.

No negatives for me. I deliberately booked an inexpensive hotel, and was quite satisfied with the result.

The cheapest option for miles! Just simple and plain. Bed, bath, shower, toilet, tv, fridge, microwave, table, chair, mirror. That’s it. But what more would you need? Nothing fancy or fake. Just pain and honest. In my opinion much better than the fancy hotels that basically have the same but make it look like there’s more. Tip: visit the bar.

It’s rather noisy but that didn’t bother me.

The price is great for the room that you get. Staff is very nice and friendly, they helped me to resolve an issue with booking and also landed me some stuff I've forgotten at home. Room was clean and cozy, most important to our family was no smell of cigarettes, or any bad smells in the room. This was my first time staying in this hotel and will definitely come back other time!

Staff, she was generous and understanding in my dilemma. My booking was wrong! The site I used their generator changed the booking date for a Thursday not a Wednesday. Immediately the lady corrected it and I was so happy!

Booking.com the booking site generator couldn’t find a hotel for us in Rocky Mountain House but gave us a hotel in Hinton. We really wanted to wake up in Rocky Mountain House after our trip through the park. Im glad the Timberland Motel was rustic but very quiet for our stay. This hotel was affordable 👌

The staffs were very accommodating. They allow us to check-in early as per request. The location is great too! I found out complaints regarding cleanliness or toiletries. The room was clean, they gave us soap and shampoo, two sets of towels.

The rooms are not sound-proof. Also it would be better if there was any option for breakfast.

Spacious room, fridge, room and bathroom were clean. Shower good and lots of hot water. Excellent value for money. Receptionist was lovely and informative. Good location.

Bed was very small, but we knew that when we booked.

Cheap stay close to Jasper. The room was ok, with a fridge, microwave and even a sink! Liquor store on the first floor is useful ))

Only 2 toilets for the whole floor, and 1 of them had broken lock. We stayed in September, so it wasn't crowded, but in summer it may be a problem

Despite the motel being part of a bar, and we were there on a Saturday night, it was quiet. Jasper is extraordinarily expensive. Hinton is much cheaper and is only 70k north east of Jasper.

Everything was fine.

It's an old and dated hotel, but everything was really clean in our room! The room was really big and had everything we needed, including airconditioning. The staff was very friendly!

It's next to the train rails and highway, so you need earplugs to sleep.

Not fancy, and sadly no elevator—but clean, great location, great service and lovely staff, and excellent value for the price! The staff were super accommodating—and upgraded us to a room with a bathroom when it became available which we needed. Great experience!
