Our room was great. Beautifully decorated. Large enough to feel comfortable with 3 people with a table and chairs so we had a good place to sit and eat our breakfast. Our beds were very comfortable so we had a good sleep to start the day.

The step going down into the lobby from the stairs is dangerous even when paying attention.

For a modest price I got a clean room with a sink, and access to clean toilets and a clean bath/shower. The room was spacious enough to fit my touring bicycle and baggage, the bed was comfortable, the fridge and desk were very useful. The pub was not directly below so noises were no trouble.

For a hotel at the cheaper end of the market, the facilities were very good. My stay was just an overnight stop while travelling, so my requirements were simply a clean room, a hot shower and a comfortable bed, all of which were amply catered for.

No negatives for me. I deliberately booked an inexpensive hotel, and was quite satisfied with the result.

It's always a great place to lay your head if just needing a clean place to stay for a night or two. Staff are always so nice, I'm usually late getting in and they are still with a smile upon arrival.

Walls are thin, but this time I had to use AC unit which blocked it noise.

The cheapest option for miles! Just simple and plain. Bed, bath, shower, toilet, tv, fridge, microwave, table, chair, mirror. That’s it. But what more would you need? Nothing fancy or fake. Just pain and honest. In my opinion much better than the fancy hotels that basically have the same but make it look like there’s more. Tip: visit the bar.

It’s rather noisy but that didn’t bother me.

Close to the main road, lower price, the room was spacious and clean. Overall we rested well and continued our road trip.

This is an older building and there will be signs of usage everywhere. Good enough for a short stay though.

The price is great for the room that you get. Staff is very nice and friendly, they helped me to resolve an issue with booking and also landed me some stuff I've forgotten at home. Room was clean and cozy, most important to our family was no smell of cigarettes, or any bad smells in the room. This was my first time staying in this hotel and will definitely come back other time!

The location is fantastic, as has a nearby information center for quick trip planning and beautiful window views. Also, a great room with a reasonable price.

Have people smoking outside the entrance.

I was happy the room had a portable air conditioner. The bed was comfy. The receptionist was excellent and very accommodating. I was also happy to have a place to eat and have a beer.

Staff, she was generous and understanding in my dilemma. My booking was wrong! The site I used their generator changed the booking date for a Thursday not a Wednesday. Immediately the lady corrected it and I was so happy!

Booking.com the booking site generator couldn’t find a hotel for us in Rocky Mountain House but gave us a hotel in Hinton. We really wanted to wake up in Rocky Mountain House after our trip through the park. Im glad the Timberland Motel was rustic but very quiet for our stay. This hotel was affordable 👌
