The staff are great and friendly. The location is close to the beach. The kitchen area, bathroom, living area, and bedroom are all very comfortable. There's a really nice patio area in the back, away from the traffic.

The AC was in the living room and didn't extend well to the bedroom. I like to sleep cold, so this was a problem. If you like to sleep a bit warm, you'll be ok. Note that the weekend I stayed, the temperature outside was 38'c, so a one-room AC isn't going to keep up with a two room space. The hotel is right on the road, which makes for a bit of noise. But in the room with the AC or fan on, I couldn't hear it. Otherwise the place was quiet.

The fact that the air conditioned suite had a separate bedroom was very handy for a family with children. The bedroom had a window you felt safe to open for fresh air. The suite was renovated and everything was nice and clean. It felt very fresh and homey. Blow dryer, shampoo, conditioner and body wash were provided. There is not daily room service, but there is staff on hand at all times to attend to your needs. They do offer to freshen up your room if required, but you need to request it. They also have a laundry area, the provide the soap and bounce. $2 for each wash and dry. The community space in the back was beautiful and was great for relaxing. There is all types of seating for eating, relaxing or tanning that were separated nicely for multiple families to enjoy. Large trees that provide shade if required as well and a BBQ if you felt like cooking outside. It felt like you were in your own backyard. Steps away there is a walkway underneath the road that provided you access to the private beach that is shared with an annual RV site. It was easy to walk over beach accessories from your room to the south facing beach. It was not overly busy, you could find a spot each day. The beach does not have fine sand, but is nicely maintained and Skaha lake is clean and calm. Close access to Sudbury and Skaha beaches that have nice fine sand, but are a little more busy with patrons. We tried every beach in Penticton. We found the beach’s on Skaha lake to be the most enjoyable. There are all types of water devises to rent, from boats and seadoos to tubes and paddleboards. The villa has a locked shed you can store bikes and/or water floatation devises. There is an e-scooters rack located outside of the villa to rent as an option. You can walk for ice cream Or desserts 1 block away and to drive anywhere is 5-10 minutes. We recommend marmalade bakery. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating at anytime during the day.

Could have used a large mirror behind the front door to check yourself before you left the suite.

Room was very clean. All new appliances that were spotless. New sheets and towels very clean. Separate bedroom was excellent. Kitchen well supplied and clean. Very recently renovated and in good working order. Staff were friendly and available.

Smoke alarm overly sensitive and went off often. Mentioned this to the owner at check out and they said they would check it out. Currently road work happening close by. Was only a problem one night when they worked through the night.

An newly updated / added patio area for hotel guests in back of property. This feature is very rarely available at hotel / motels especially at an affordable rate. 5 stars for outdoor patio area! 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 The particular room we had was a private patio area with bistro table & bench & led on to a back of property oasis with cushioned seating area & gas fire pit, BBQ, picnic tables, variety of chairs & seating arrangements. There were recent upgrades this year with Nordic Spa & patio area with trees, landscaping, plants, relaxing solar lighting on fence. The rooms were renovated with modern spa like feel, very clean, device plug ins for phones, iPads, lap tops, etc. Our room had 1 Queen bed & 1 full / double bed open concept. Items available - mini fridge, microwave, kettle, coffee pot, dishes, cutlery, glasses, cups, complimentary tea/coffee, soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, tv with Shaw / Rogers, A/C, heat, one window. We had a cozy / smaller room that we like and it was furthest from road, private patio / entrance & quiet. The Queen bed was very comfy! 😊👍🏼😴 Staff / owner was very friendly, helpful, flexible to our inquiries. A deluxe room upgrade for a nominal fee was offered, informed about Nordic Spa for separate fee, given code to private beach access located across street. We declined upgraded room as we prefer cozy & more private rooms, we declined Nordic Spa, which is cool & cold ice plunge & sauna. We aren’t in to these activities, but as we visited other guests in patio area, they raved about it and said it was fabulous! So we’re spreading the word to those interested in it! 😊👍🏼 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩. The Nordic Spa is a 5 Star worthy activity at an extra fee at an affordable accommodation, beautiful serene location across from private beach access at Skaha lake.

The shower door was a bit hard to open & heavy, needs adjusting & rubber seal on bottom of door was worn out. We mentioned to owner & he is still in renovation / upgrade process & still has details to fix / address. It’s posted on website & in communications that Reno’s are happening, so we weren’t too concerned and we’re aware of situation.

The place is just perfect, curated and always very clean, with everything you need for a short holiday. The staff if always nice a resourceful. The location was perfect for what we needed. There is a very pleasant area outside with fire pit and BBQ and recently they added a Scandinavian sauna and cold plunge with resting area, very nicely organized, I highly recommend to book this, it's wonderful!

The property is just steps away from the lake, offering access to a private beach—a fantastic perk that made our stay even more enjoyable. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, but what truly sets this place apart is the incredible staff! Lakeside Villa is a motel on the highway, so it's what one would expect in that regard. Having said that, traffic noise didn't bother us at all, the beds were updated and comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the garden area where guests can relax and even BBQ if they want was unexpectedly delightful. Access to the beach across the highway was easy, safe, and quick. The beach is semi-private and separated from boat traffic. We would definitely go back.

While very effective, the air conditioner was a little noisy.

The first thing you notice is the bright teal building with pink doors! It gives a Florida keys 1960 vibe, but then you walk inside and are greeted with the most charming rooms. The privacy of the bedroom, the comfortable beds, the functional of the living room with a fully stocked kitchen! The amount of coffee and tea choice was incredible. The little details like the pillow chocolates and pillow spray was top notch. The back yard area is full of beautiful seating areas, a fire table and a bbq!! Private beach access to Skaha lake across the road is great. I am already looking forward to returning to Lakeside Villas to explore more!! We were there for my son’s dental surgery and they had placed freezies in the freezer for him. It’s the small details that mean the most and leave a lasting impact. Thank you so very much.

Due to work commitments, we had to arrive at this inn close to 11pm at night. Remarkably, the manager who should have finished by 9pm, was there waiting for us, providing seamless communication throughout, ensuring that even on a snowy night, a light was there to guide us. Despite being a small inn with only fifteen rooms, the decor exuded sophistication and professionalism, with consumables sourced from British and Italian brands. The beds were just the right balance of soft and firm, incredibly comfortable, and the bedding was fresh and tidy. The coffee and tea provided in the room were exceptional. Located opposite a lake, the hotel offers numerous water activities in the summer and even has a water park open during the warmer months. It's just a five-minute walk from the airport.

There might be a bit of noise because it is close to the road. However, they provide heating and air conditioning, and the windows are soundproofed excellently. It didn't affect us in the slightest.

Very friendly staff, private beach; in the motel's territory, build special place to relax with barbecue, and playground where few little companies could relax in the evening time without bothering each other

Everything was great, we were very impressed of the clean room, friendly and love dogs staff, private beach, evening barbecue place, great walking path for dogs. Our dogs were also very happy to be there and getting treats.
