The man and lady at the front desk were great - so friendly and respectful. I loved the vibe; it was European cottage style (best way I can think to describe it) and cozy. There's a lovely gazebo with comfy chairs in the back. The top floor room doors are in the back that you drive up to! It's really cool. It's really clean. Stuff is old, but who cares? Great value for your money. I honestly have no idea why this would have a low rating. Seriously, what do people expectl. There are nice taxidermy animals in the lobby and they sell snacks and drinks there.

Manager escorted us to our room to preview the unique touches & give us our real key not a key card. Beds & pillows were very comfortable. Beautiful view out our window. There was a gazebo and grill in a private area for everyone. Great area to sit & enjoy the evening or for a smoker. I really appreciated them providing half & half in the fridge & real mugs for the coffee. They also provided discount tickets & towels for the hot springs. In addition they provided a discount card to Big Horn Cafe for breakfast/ lunch which was delicious!

Booked this after spending 2 days in Canmore. It is so expensive in Banff and Canmore, I didn't book more than 2 nights there. I think Radium is a nice, little town for staying near Banff if you don't mind an hour of driving. The drive is scenic. There are also Kootenay national park sites and trails on this road. I did the Stanley Glacier hike and it was beautiful. Radium has a few restaurants and grocery stores, it is quiet and less crowded. It was nice to visit the hot springs swimming pool in the town. The motel itself is well maintained. It looks old but it is clean and in good condition. WiFi was pretty good. Nice flowers all around. Only improvement could be hard floors instead of carpet. It was pleasure to work with Tom, the owner. I think he is the reason why this is probably the most popular motel in the town. Very friendly and eager to serve his guests.

Change carpet or install hardwood/laminate flooring (better).

The service by the owner himself, ability to buy the Radium Hot Spring Entry Tickets thru him, the Bath Towels lent to us on goodwill, close proximity to the Springs as well as the " Downtown " restaurants, a warm welcome late night arrival...decent & comfy rooms with extra Hot water showers...all are excellent! Will definitely stay here again.

A very cute, comfortable, clean place, and it was Tom (owner?) who made it exceptional! We were treated like gold, highly entertained by Tom, and he went the extra mile to light a portable fire pit for us in the evening when our friends visited. Will definitely stay again, and highly recommend!

The area give a great view of the mountains. This time of year it is very quiet peaceful. It is close to the hot springs. Perfect for shot stays.

The shower could be improved. Bars for seniors. In the summer you need air conditioning.

The bed was sooo comfortable! The hotel is minutes from the hot springs and the staff are exceptional! They go above and beyond to make your stay the best it can be. The room was also very clean as well.

Close to hot springs. The owner of motel was very friendly and exceptional service. Knew motel had been around a lot of years so wanted to experience a bit of the old charm of the place. Rooms are small but had everything you would need. Could use some minor touchups and updates in bathroom but was very clean.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They gave us an excellent explanation of the amenities of the town, the sights to see in the area and the locations of everything on a detailed map. All of the suggestions were based on our plans for our trip. The motel was well taken care of and clean. The location was easy to find and within a reasonable walk from downtown and the hot springs. There was a beautiful mountain view from our room and an even better view from the bbq area for the guests to use.
