So cute. A trip down memory lane with the decor. Grandma 's basement was the best. The beds were very comfortable. The cleaning was great. It was quiet. We also enjoyed the pool area and hot tub. All in all a unique experience to write home about and a comfortable convenient stay for us near our friends while in Victoria.

We enjoyed the Ruby for breakfast. But often we were coming back in the evening after a long day sightseeing and looking for a snack. We didn't see any vending machines and nothing was open for a glass of wine or food. There is a KFC right in the parking lot but a hotel bar would be awesome.

Nice relaxed vibe. The zedinator water slide is fun. Good sauna. Amazing bed - huge, comfy.

It's right on the side of a busy, dusty highway but not too far from town. We didn't have a car so walked back and forth which was ok but it's not a pleasant route. There are plrnty of buses and it's right by a stop so that's all fine. We had a fridge and kettle and microwave in our room which was good but no crockery or cutlery so that didn't quite work. Really good coffee which you could get every day for free but you had to ask at reception.

We had such a great time! Our kiddo loved it and the pool is so nice and heated! Even though it was bordering on a rainy day, being able to go into the pool and the water slide and not be cold was great. The staff was super nice and the location is just close enough to downtown without being too close to the sketchy parts of Victoria. We will for sure stay again. The only thing I noted was the bed was a duvet with no duvet cover, which I thought was weird? But it was clean, so whatever! Would love to see some selection of coffee or teas directly in the room too, but over all it was excellent! The Ruby was also great for breakfast!

Everything! I felt like i was in grade 9 again. The rotary phone was even the same color as the one I grew up with! And a complimentary yo-yo is a pretty nice touch. Most of all... so pet friendly! I have a white husky dog, and she was in spring molt. I felt terrible, and the staff just welcomed her and me and reassured me that pet-friendly means they are used to all the pet things. Such a joyful experience for us both! Thank you for the wonderful stay, and we will be back.

I don't even want to put anything here... but... the room could use some cutlery. Lol. I used the complimentary pen to stir my coffee, which worked, and it's a very nice pen! New favorite. 😁

Funky colours, swimming pool. Good vibes

We were on the 3rd floor so to get a cuppa in the morning, we had to get dressed, walk downstairs and across the carpark to the reception area. It would have been great to have tea and coffee making facilities in the bedroom. Instead there was a massive tv- totally unnecessary, a microwave and a fridge. Nice to have, but how much to guests use them?

This is the best, most unique hotel I have ever been to. It even beats other 4-star hotels :) I thought that this was just going to be another regular place but I was tremendously happy to find out I was wrong as soon as I arrived. The enormous attention to phenomenal details at every level are enough to charm me into staying forever. This hotel surpasses it's tremendous aesthetic only in incredible character. At Hotel Zed, I am spoiled with an easygoing staff attitude, generous care, and complimentary items for the family. Love, Roxy Feller

There is absolutely nothing that I did not like. I am only displeased when the hotel is full of guests so that I cannot be there.

I like the theme, comfort level-bonus to French press coffee in the room. Although I didn’t get to use it, The firepit was a nice touch. The games room sounded fun. The rooms were not retro dirty they were retro clean.

There was noise from other guests and I couldn’t get ahold of the front desk to complain. The phone had no numbers beside it (ie 0 for front desk). The side parking lot was a bit of a disaster.

The vintage eclectics! All the little touches. Real glasses. Real coffee, real cream and milk. Loved the kettle and french press. Decor was awesome. Great quality finishes. Love the gold faucets. And hardware. The beds were super comfy. Loved the pool, hot tub and sauna areas. Enjoyed them all. The welcome area was amazing. Your staff are exceptional! I will recommend Zed Hotel to everyone I know who will be visiting BC

There needs to be more locations!!! Love your business model. I live in Ontario!! Would love to see locations here.

The whole vibe of the hotel was amazing. Straight outta my Grandma's house! Retro look, but new furniture. Room was very clean, beds were amazingly comfortable!! The fresh ground coffee and real cream for mornings was unbelievable. We had a 3 bed room, and one of our people decided to sleep on the cushion of the couch as a cot, and the housekeeper even made THAT bed up for her!! They were super friendly and accomodating. It was a great location to our venue (we were there for rollerderby) and close to many restaraunts/shopping. Would defininately stay there again.

The only downside was not under their control. They are in middle of renovating this unique place and in such, the pool/hottub was not available :( Nor was the guest laundry (we just hung things up to air dry) The parking also was a wee bit cramped, but doable. (And..being on the 3rd floor when you are old and totally out of shape was an eye opener of how reliant we are on elevators (Good thing I had my daughter to help carry the luggage up!)

The lobby and room vibe feels different than how it looks from the outside. The receptionist was so kind and accommodate us right away. We were allowed to extend for an hour as we woke up late and we need to prepare the babies. Bed was so comfy. Babies fell asleep uninterrupted. The shampoo, soap and conditioner were organic and smells good! The French press was also great! The parking is in front of our room too that’s a plus! I heard there’s a pool and sauna but we did not get the chance to see it.
