We ended up being given a 1 bedroom suite with a kitchenette, which was perfect for us. The Queen bed was very comfortable, the living area also spacious for the two of us. The bathroom was updated and the kitchenette was just what we needed for our 4 day stay. Having a continental breakfast provided each morning was very nice, able to eat and then go! Having e-bikes available for our use every day, was the key point that led us to book at Robin Hood Inn. Being able to cycle easily into downtown Victoria, and around the coast line, using the bike trails, was wonderful. We also made use of the kayaks too, kayaking up the Gorge River.
Nothing in particular. Some of the ebikes needed cleaning and the chain oiling, but perhaps it was still early in the season.

The cleanest rooms I’ve ever been in. I spot check every hotel room i go to and the place was spotless!! The staff are AMAZING. Thank you so much Yousef for accommodating us after our plans changed due to the rain. You were kind and helpful with suggestion alternative activities. The breakfast ladies genuinely smiling. The staff are AMAZING!!
Not deal breakers: The outside could for sure do with a paint job and upgrade . It doesn’t match the inside at all.. Pool table only had one “stick” Plastic on all the dishes completely UNNECESSARY and WASTEFUL. Also huge waste of time unwrapping everything. Your dishes are clean..your rooms are clean.., for the love of our planet skip this steps please!!

Easy and quick to catch bus into Victoria. The bedroom and bathroom were spacious , and there was a lovely walk in shower. Reception recommended some eateries which were excellent, Hecklers, Glo on the river and Craft breweries on the other side of goose trail. Unfortunately due to the weather I was not able to use electric bikes, but quite a few available.
Unfortunately big construction development on opposite side of the road a bit noisy. Continental breakfast was slightly limited. Also the juice was just squash.

We both slept great, room was quiet except a sometimes rattling fridge, every so often. My wife had earplugs and didn't hear it, I did. The experience was good. Rooms are like Motel rooms, nothing special but exactly what we needed and expected. The neighbourhood has its - drug related - reputation but we did not notice any of it. We drove to the city centre, left our car behind on city parking lot for $15/24hrs. Came back with Taxi to Motel and walked 45 minutes the next morning to go get our car. All good
One Asian lady at the front desk I met when I inquired about our breakfast, no smile, no 'good morning'. 9:15am. Breakfast was going to be dropped off at our room at 9am. The young man who booked us in was very friendly however. A smile makes all the difference in business and life.

Doesn't look like much from the outside, but the insides of the rooms have been completely redone and are very nice. Breakfast was OK. Best thing was the e-bikes available for use. Victoria is a very bike-friendly city, with dedicated bike lanes in all the major roads and dedicated trails all over, too. We took the bikes out one afternoon late, and ended up going all over the waterfront, fisherman's wharf, the cruise docks, and all through the heart of Victoria - about 25km. A great part of our trip.

I stayed for 2 nights in September 2024, having one full day to explore the city. The E-bike thing is super cool - they let you take the bike for 3 hours, and if they aren't overbooked you can extend it up to 10 hours(!) for free (like I did, 9am-7pm) by phone. The E-bike had good range and were in good shape. They add a lock and helmet. Although the motel is not in the middle of the city, it is located within 2 minutes ride (along bike lane), that connects you with a major bike road. You are 10-15 minutes ride from city center. Bike are a great way to get to know the city, due to the large number of bike lanes. I really enjoyed it. Rather than the whole E-bike thing, rooms were big and comfortable, they have parking, and breakfast was nice.

Did not care for food but coffee was latte/GREAT! We went to Dennys for breakfast instead :) Loved rooms esp beds/pillows/bathrooms! I was on third floor and enjoyed the exercise of the stairs and repeated climbing them to keep up my exercise regime. Staff was WONDERFUL- newer lady at front desk and Yousef ❤️Lots of room to wander….
Barely any protein for breakfast. Older exterior (but I saw deeper- rooms were GREAT!).

Perfect place if you don't want to stay in the centre. The room was spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable! I didn't have a car but the bus stop outside makes it easy to get to the centre of Victoria and I spent a few days at Willows Beach which was on one of the bus routes. The breakfast was perfect with a great selection with a wide variety of coffee selections. The staff were very welcoming and I'd definitely go again.

Very clean room, spotless bathroom. Absolutely comfortable beds and pillows. The linens are super fresh and smell good. WiFi works good and speed. Room is quite, we slept well. Enough parking lots. Not super close to the most popular places in Victoria, you should to use vehicle for more comfortable visiting. But absolutely perfect with facility, cleaning, comfort and abbility to sleep well. Highly recomend this motel.
Little poor breakfast. For people who don't eat sugar nothing to eat exept boiled eggs. Will be great to have some cucumber.

The room was very clean and staff were all caring and professional. Sid at the front desk was very helpful. The free bicycles made it easy to see the sights using the bike lanes. The breakfast was light but was restocked as needed. There was a washer and dryer to use on site . The same room where breakfast is available remained open for our use of microwave, piano, TV’s or pool table. Would definitely use again if in Victoria.
