Super location in the village. Lovely views of the mountains. Really friendly and helpful staff. Loved having the coffee bar (serving Starbucks coffee) available for takeaway treats.

The lobby felt a bit flat, there wasn't the usual excitement or Christmas type events as in comparable hotels in the village. There wasn't audible music playing. When we arrived back to the hotel post dinner there wasn't anyone to greet us, and the lobby fire was off. These are little things that can make a difference to a guest experience. We were told we could check in at 4pm (we arrived around 12:30pm) however we weren't notified about our room until 4:45pm.

The location of the hotel was very nice. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The bathroom is clean, there are plenty of materials. The towels were clean. There was no noise. We slept very comfortably.

Although the check-in time was 16:00, they wanted to keep us waiting and even said that the room was not ready. It was not nice to be kept waiting in such an expensive and five-star hotel. If we didn't objection, we wouldn't be able to enter the room at 16:00. The attitude of the receptionists was not nice. There was no other negativity.

The location is great, being as close to the ski area as it is, and the room and hotel are one of the nicer ones I’ve stayed in. Almost similar class as the Paradox Hotel in Vancouver but with more of a mountain cabin feel. The Paradox room has a few amenities this one did not - radiant floor heating in the bathroom and electrically retractable shades. This room had a view of snow covered trees with the Whistler Gondola running behind them (see Outside photo). Like most Whistler hotels, this one has rooms with small kitchen areas. (There is a grocery store in the village within walking distance.) The room also has a gas fireplace.

Somehow a higher end hotel can not provide free WiFi to guests when other hotels can. $14.95 for Internet per day. Maybe it ties your internet surfing info to your payment info as an anti-crime measure or else to sell your surfing data. I don’t know because I did not read the contract - I did not sign up.

I was there to celebrate my mom’s 90th birthday. We had 3 rooms booked and they had us all on the same floor. Though other family members were staying in different hotels, the Westin became the hub for our gatherings. It was comfortable, a great location with sound proof rooms. We could laugh and talk over each other and not bother other guests. The Fire Rock Lounge was a cozy place for spontaneous smaller family groups to socialize and enjoy the excellent food. The location gave access to the heart of the village, being able to explore the shops and eateries with people I rarely get to spend time with, was only made better by the spectacular setting. Most importantly my mom was absolutely thrilled with the whole experience and made to feel like the queen she is!

The only small issue was the bathtub had not been cleaned properly. I contacted guest services and they had 2 cleaners there in less than 10 minutes. Everything else was wonderful

Location, is the best for skiing. The rooms were so comfortable and clean. The housekeeping staff were so accommodating in regard to extras needed. The waterfall and patio outside was so relaxing to watch. We booked on a weekend that had a dance competition hats off to the staff who remained calm and were overwhelmed. Even the valet service apologized for the slight delay, which we were not troubled in the least. FROM BEGINING TO END THE WESTIN AT WHISTLER GETD 10 STARS.

Exceptional hotel in exceptional location. Very nice to have kitchenette. You aren't going to be disappointed unless you're expecting the very top end of luxury hotels - there a just a few of those in Whistler and you will pay more for them. Lovely garden for the summer. Close to gondola for the winter. Walk out to all the shops. Helpful staff.

You should know that pool area is much smaller and less luxurious than it appears in photos.

Our reason for the stay was to celebrate our anniversary, and they upgraded our room and provided complimentary breakfast which was a pleasant surprise. The staff were all very hospitable and professional. We enjoyed the entire process from check in to check out. They even set up a cot for our baby!

There were a couple flies/mosquito that were found in the suite. The suite feels a bit outdated in the design, but everything was functional

The hotel is amazing and all the staff were really friendly. We really enjoyed using the pool and gym.

There was nothing that we didnt like. One word of caution - the room we were initially given didnt match the description and photo on Booking.com but this was quickly and simply resolved as staff moved us into a room which did match the photo. I wonder whether this was an issue with the listing on booking.com rather than the hotel.

Staff was great. I was on a bike trip and everyone was helpful and personable. Valet team, front desk, tech team were all brilliant, shout out to all the bikers in the team. Rooms are very comfortable!

TV glitches out a bit when used as a speaker for my devices, happens repeatedly.

Ahhhmazing location!! This is a top notch hotel. Beautiful, comfortable rooms and bed, great location and great staff.

I preferred the hotel room layout that did not connect to another room. Our friends stayed in that one. Our room connected to another room, which we didn't use and I didn't like that the kitchen amenities were right in front of our bed. But otherwise, a great room!
