The hotel looks older from the outside but the inside is really nice. The staff were very accommodating, friendly and helpful. They often went above and beyond to help make our stay very pleasant. We were surprised at the variety of choices for breakfast and the meals were delicious and perfectly done. We also ate in the restaurant/pub. We were greeted with a big smile and, again, delicious food. The staff at this hotel, in all areas, were consistently pleasant and accommodating. The room was spacious and comfortable. We really liked the beds. We had a room with outside access and it was perfect for our needs. Although we were at a busy intersection, we didn't notice any traffic noise in the room. We are looking forward to staying here again on our next trip.

There was a small problem with the toilet paper holder coming loose in the wall. We reported it to the front desk and the young woman offered to have maintenance come right away. The service is exceptional.

The breakfast was surprisingly delicious! It was quite busy at the time we arrived at the restaurant, so we had to wait a bit for service. I was able to get myself some coffee from the breakfast bar, so the waiting time was okay. The food came super fast after we ordered, completely correct and delicious. My only feedback would be to have the server acknowledge us when we sat down and tell us to help ourselves to coffee/tea while we wait for her to get to us.

The floor in the room wasn’t all that clean. I’m not sure I like the throwback seventies look, but the inside of the drawers didn’t make me want to put anything in there.

Excellent breakfast, made to order, Very friendly and pleasant staff. Clean room. A/C was noisy but we were aware of this and decided to ignore that issue as we wanted a ground floor room and was the only one available. Happy with the stay!

the young man that worked that night was by far very exceptional there was some clowns outside just being well clowns and without anyone calling him he went out there and took care of the problem ...very very impressed with him either tell him what i said or give him a gift card for supper or something

The complimentary breakfast was one of the best I have had in a hotel in a long time, fresh and the staff went above and beyond to ensure all our needs were met, I will definitely be staying here on my next visit to Winnipeg and will be recommending this establishment to anyone I know who is planning on staying in Winnipeg. The local and on site amenities are more than you could want and the location is perfect.

Parking in a very minor area (outer building rooms, 3 rooms only) is the only thing I could note as not 100% but it was 98%. It was a bit tight and on a corner, but really a minor concern. Remember this is for roughly 3 spots out of over 100 available, and I could have chosen lots of other spots to park in but wanted to be outside my room.

Clean, upgraded and nice rooms. The staff is amazing! They go extra mile to make your stay the best. The freshly cooked hot breakfast is an added feature which is unique to this location.

Parking was filled with water after 15 mins of rain

Large room with comfy beds and decent about of storage. Good bathroom with plentiful hot water. Free hot breakfast choice delivered to your room every day. Daily housekeeping. Plenty of parking and located on main road although not noisy.

Fruit or veg with breakfast would be healthier, No laundry for guests.

This property is right as you come into Winnipeg from the west. The location is nice- straight down portage to get downtown- perimeter right there for quick access to outlet mall- ikea. I appreciate no carpet in the rooms- the breakfast is really good.

It’s older- could use some upgrades- but it’s clean and comfy.

Everything was really comfortable, clean and the food was really good.

I didn’t like that I had to pay more than the great advertised price , extra included for my 2 year old grandson that takes up very little space in a 2 bed room and eats minimaly. Also that there was a cost added for obtaining a refund if we needed to cancel. It added about $50 to the advertised price of the room.

This hotel is a gem! It is an older building but the rooms are renovated and clean and beds A1 comfortable!! The nightly price includes a hot homemade breakfast that is very good. Staff are nice and it checks all my boxes. And if you like easy access to your room and car the ground floor provides parking at the door like a motel.
