The location was absolutely perfect !!! We were only about 3-5 minutes away from the airport … we were walking distance to a restaurant for dinner ( albeit an expensive restaurant). The hotel provided a shuttle to and from the airport that seemed to go 24/7 … We left before breakfast but they provided all kinds of things we could carry with us from fruit to baking to drinks. The dining area was spotless. The staff were SO helpful and friendly . The rooms were fabulous with Keurig coffee machines and microwaves. ( they sold boxed dinners at the desk you could microwave if you didn’t want to go out) We felt the value was terrific . We would highly recommend this hotel . They thought of most everything 💕

The checkin was great. The shuttle service was great for a late incoming flight and transfer to hotel. The room was great no issues.

Keys were out for the doors but the staff helped in all ways possible with helping you get back into the room. The only issue was the pool I went down to swim at 9 am and it was out of service to add chlorine. they said in about an hour for this and it will be open again but I couldnt go back at 10 as we had to check out. That was really the only issue. The pool opens at 6 am shouldnt the chlorine be added overnight or before the pool is opened.

I like that it was so close to the airport, especially when you have a 6 AM flight out

I didn’t like the price because we got there around 7:30 PM and we left at 3:30 AM! We also had to get up at 2 AM and it took several hours for the front desk to change our room because we had a metal banging noise outside our window and we were on the third floor and couldn’t figure out what the sound was so maintenance come up and said yes there is a noise. It took them a while to give us another room so we did lose sleep was a little annoyed by that.

We booked this hotel because we had an early flight out of St. John's. We were pleasantly surprised by the size and comfort of the room (it was the largest room we stayed at during our 2 weeks in Newfoundland). We were also pleased with the proximity of the hotel to the airport, and the fact that it is still about a 12 minute drive from downtown St. John's.

The complimentary breakfast is open from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM which didn't work with the time of our flight, so we didn't get a chance to enjoy it.

They were very nice to let us check in early. Our return flight left very early, before their official full breakfast opening time, but they did offer a nice continental breakfast - cereal, toast, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, etc. Great to have something before going to the airport. Shuttle service was friendly, prompt and available at 5:30 am.

Would be nice to have a restaurant/lounge on site.

I left before the hot breakfast was out, but it was a beautiful and spacious set up to eat and the variety for the continental breakfast was great. It is so close to the airport that it made it so much easier for me to catch the early flight and the shuttle service was on time, friendly and courteous. The room was spacious and had a great modern style shower. I would definitely book this again even if I wasn't flying out anywhere, but just wanted to stay in the city. I liked how the shampoo and lotions were provided.

I don't know if there was supposed to be hairdryer in the room; there was an empty bag on the back of the door, but I had my own. There were no shower caps there, but I had my own as well.

Breakfast, shuttle, location to airport

Check in was long - computer went down and had to be rebooted not an issue but only one one staff person delayed check in. He was friendly and held his cool but for me it was a case of understaffing. The next staff person who took over from him was also alone and as we went by she was dealing with a line up of about 12 people.

The room was bigger than expected, with a comfortable king bed and a pull out sofa (great for travelling with children). It is close to the airport with ample parking. We ordered from the restaurant next door (The Rock) which had delicious food! The staff were very helpful and accommodating. We also took advantage of the indoor pool that everyone enjoyed. We would stay here again!

We travelled by plane and the arrival was close to midnight so we wanted a place as close to the airport as possible. Holiday Inn was 1 min of shuttle ride away from the airport and the price was reasonable. Room was nice and tidy. Best part was the complimentary buffet breakfast… good selection of food and beverages.

If some slippers are provided it would be great (may be we missed them… it was late).

The staff were very accommodating. And our flight was scheduled to depart before the hot breakfast was available, but they had a continental breakfast setup available starting at 03:00. We chose the location due to the early flight and the hotel's proximity to the airport (walking distance). We were pleasantly surprised that they had a free airport shuttle that ran all hours.
