The hotel is located in prime location with an incredible view of the harbour. Everything is clean and updated. The staff are super friendly, warm and welcoming. We didn't have the breakfast included but you can purchase it the morning of for $20 pp. The spread was great - including waffles, pastries, eggs, sausages, bacon, muffins, toast, juice, coffee, etc. The restaurant also has great options for their dinner menu. The A/C was perfect as we were visiting St John's during one of the hottest summer weeks. The room was big and the bed was so comfortable. All in all, a great experience.

The bar / kitchen closed earlier than advertised.

The Staff was very pleasant. Donna was extremely helpful with the information i was looking for. . I know id came late for my third breakfast . Didnt get to use the third breakfast ticket because the cooks weren't on duty at the time. My doing. The hotel was booming with great enthusiasm and the kids seem extremely happy. It was a good vibe.. All the amenities were walking distance. Love it..

I wished that Id could have stay longer and seen more of the hotel and taken pictures. I would've like to see more greener in the hotel. The outside patio in the corner were some dried dead plant and could've been swept and clean .. Not appealing.

The hotel itself is lovely and staff were super helpful when I had to change my reservations due to weather. My only complaint is the noise level, which is not a fault of the hotel. People in our hallway would use their deadbolt to keep their door open and they were going back and forth to each other's rooms. The doors would literally bounce and several times we could feel our own room shake a little. This started very early in the morning and continued for over an hour which was very disruptive to sleep. Because the floors are laminate and not carpet covered, I think it probably makes them less soundproof. Again, no fault of the hotel, just a review for people to maybe be a bit more considerate of those around you. Otherwise, staff, from reception to house keeping were great, beds were comfy, and room was clean. Great location in the downtown area if that's where you want to be.

Only negative, noisey AC / heating unit in room. Luckily we never had o use it through the night.

I had just finished walking a big chunk of the East Coast trail and wanted to treat myself to a fancy stay for rest. Being in a tent every night and hiking 8 hours a day really wears you down so I definately needed a few nights at the Hilton !! Hotel was a short 5 minute walk to water and George Street. The room was spacious and comfortable. I also liked that there was a microwave in the room because you can go pretty wild spending money at all the restaurants and bars :p. good for the leftovers and some saving money. The staff was friendly and ready to help. I had a lovely conversation with Jen who was incredibly welcoming to the hotel as well as the city. :)

for the price, I would at least hope for continental breakfast.

Close to George street festival

We tried to check into our room at 3:20 and was told it was not available because it wasn’t cleaned yet but the manager that was on duty that day gave us an upgraded room and half hour later . There was also a homeless person coming into the hotel in the morning while we were having breakfast, getting coffee and picking up food at the buffet and he smelled awful .

The room was clean, the staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was very comfortable and modern as well. The hotel wasn't noisy at any time of the day, which was nice. The pool was very clean and beautiful, loved the added touch of the lights and upbeat music.

The only issue I had with this hotel was that parking isn't included in your stay. I don't think you should have to pay for parking when you're staying at the hotel, it should be included. This would have deterred me from booking if I would have known.

The reception desk is really efficient. Staff is helpful and always made me fell that the really want to help me and satisfy my needs. Excellent. Good breakfast with fresh fruits and multiple choices.

The restaurant close at 9PM because there wasn't enough people but we were disappointed since it was supposed to be open until 10PM. There is no restaurant where we could have eaten a sandwich and a soup.

I booked a room with free breakfast. When I went to have my breakfast they wanted to charge me, saying that I’m supposed to have some vouchers from the reception if I have free breakfast. I went and get the vouchers and came back to the restaurant. It wasn’t a big deal, but I would have appreciated if they would anticipate this, and give me the vouchers at my check in time. Also, I booked this hotel as they were advertising access to pool, but on the first 2 days of my stay, the pool was unavailable, and I didn’t get any compensation for that, even though I asked the receptionist. She was nice, but didn’t compensate this inconvenience in any way.

Pretty standard Hilton Garden Inn as far as rooms and amenities, but this location was exceptionally clean and had great staff. Every staff person I interacted with was extremely friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to make it a good stay.

Restaurant food could be better. Breakfast buffet was good but dinner options had cheap/low quality ingredients for the price of the meal.
