We had a great stay here! I really appreciated how they accommodated our vegan breakfast request—they even ordered and prepared plant-based eggs and meat for us. The staff is amazing!
I have one improvement suggestion. It would be great if the room had a hot tub cleaning schedule on a wall and some information on how they are sanitised. Hot tub is always a bit of an unnerving thing to have in a hotel room. I never know how they are cleaned and whether they are safe or not, especially after reading horrible reddit comments from people who have claimed to work in hospitality industry. We used the hot tub, and it was nice, but also felt uneasy about it.

The staff were very nice and welcoming. We booked a cheaper room, but once we realized one of the window blinds was not operational and couldn’t be repaired right away, they offered to move us to a luxury room (the Port Royal room). It was a significant upgrade to a much larger room, with a proper air conditioning unit (the smaller room only had a small and somewhat noisy portable unit) and a bathroom with a private jacuzzi. The house itself had a really nice interior, and the breakfasts were delicious. The neighborhood is nice and appears safe (which was not our impression of other locations in the city).
The place is far from the downtown area, so it might be less convenient for travelers without a car.

This is a beautiful old manor house (from the 1920's), and it's very well maintained. Our suite had a separate private entrance directly off the back parking lot, which was very convenient. We were able to avoid lugging our luggage up the stairs to the upper levels. It was very spacious and private. Breakfast was delicious. First morning had choice of eggs, second morning pancakes. Some guests preferred eggs to pancakes, and staff was happy to substitute.
The bed was comfortable for sleeping, but the edge of the mattress had obviously been sat on a great deal, as it tended to sag. There were not any comfortable sitting chairs in the unit, although it had a lovely window seat with a cushion.

Very clean and comfortable rooms. Tub was so nice. Breakfast was delicious with excellent service. I loved how the kitchen was left open during the night so we didn't have to leave the facilities. Overall, we had an excellent stay.
We couldn't figure out how to turn down/turn off the heater. So our room was a little too warm for our preference. Since the room was located between the front door and the dining hall, I found it slightly noisy in the morning. No one was disruptive, it was just the location of the room and couldn't have been helped. I would love to recommend the place to my parents, but my father wouldn't be able to do the walk up the hill after parking. But again, that can't be fixed because of location.

This is a very individual hotel. We had a suite with all the facilities we could wish for, even though we did not use them all. The staff were always pleasant and helpful. Cooked breakfast prepared when you were ready. And we loved the community dining table, a great way to meet other guests.
The outside stairs to our room. Parking is low down and we did not discover the higher drop off point until our second day. However, this did not detract from our overall good impression of the hotel.

We stayed in the Bell Island suite and it was a studio apartment suite on 2 floors. Was very comfortable for my friend and I. Manor location is good. Off the beaten path in a quiet neighbourhood Staff were nice and friendly.
They were out of coffee at breakfast one day. And the next day they just gave a pot of hot water and instant coffee which was quite odd. Seems like this is something they could have easily fixed but didn't? Most people need that cup of brewed coffee in the morning!

My husband and I love to come to the Leaside Manor. Our favourite suite is the Trinity suite. We have been at least a dozen times. We try to go once a month for either a night or a full weekend. I recommended the lease side manner to so many of our family and friends and they've also enjoyed it. Cannot wait to come back.
There is nothing to dislike about this property or the staff. The property is absolutely amazing. The staff are so sweet knowledgable and kind not to mention helpful. The staff is the best.

We enjoyed breakfast, the staff was very friendly.
There were several maintenance issues. The toilet by the office was not hooked to the floor and could cause leaking. The shower and the port Royal room was cracked and broken. The air conditioner in our room was also really loud and we kept turning it off because we couldn’t sleep with it, but then got too hot. The room itself was beautiful.

Beautiful and peaceful. Very well put together. Staff are incredibly helpful. The architecture and the history of this place was very intriguing. Food was delicious both mornings and you felt very respected by the staff. Service was stupendous could not have asked for a better relaxing weekend.
Nothing really other than no hand soap available instead we had to use shower gel provided by the staff when wash in or hands. Not a big deal.

Breakfast was excellent. Staff was friendly and helpful. Overall location was good. Large common table for breakfast allowed for great conversations with other guests.
Room setup was awkward. Seating was a window seat and high stools. Nowhere to watch TV from except the bed. Large jacuzzi took up too much room. Just really awkward. Also had an excellent view of the graveyard next door.
