It is a close drive to and from the airport. They have a professional chef, so the breakfasts and dinners were great! We did have a problem with clogging of the bathtub from the beginning, so we notified the front desk so they could get a plumber in. Instead of having us wait to have it fixed, they upgraded us to an even better room that was right across the hall from us. We were very happy! Hi Amanda, Mirna, Sara and the rest of the group! We miss you!

There really wasn't anything for us not to like. We knew the hotel was decorated as from the "old" days, which made us like it more. It was so well done that we felt we were in those days. It didn't have an elevator, but the flight of stairs was short and easy.

The restraint staff was great. Along with the food. The best seafood chowder in nova scotia . The location suited me well. It was closes enough to the airport with good access to highway for taking day trips to explore.

Access to walking trails has not as easy as I would have hope for. Adding guest card locks to access pool and parking. There was close access to the pool but from to the pool but had to walk around the building to the front door to get back in. Dinner gusts would have a better dining experience not seeing me walking around in a swimsuit.

The food was very good. The property is dated and understaffed which made me feel sorry for them that they cannot be more engaged with the experience. Overall we dealt with some great staff and they were very kind and accommodating when we needed a last minute palace to stay. The location is amazing near the lake and very close to the airport. You need a car, but there is a free airport shuttle.

The property is a little dated and felt empty. I really hope it is able to bounce back becuase it would be a great place to stay near the airport.

Lovely well maintained place. Nice breakfast options. Comfortable rooms and beds. Convenient parking. Amazing deck and beach by the lake. Staff is super friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the private patio chairs/table outside the room

Some more updated practices in hospitality could help not only enhance the customer experience but also result in savings/revenue increase eg speed check out process, have paperless options, make some sustainable decisions like shampoo/soap dispensers in showers, etc

Close to the airport with free shuttle. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was very comfortable and quiet. Made for a good stay after a long flight. Enjoyed sitting by the fire in the bar reading my book.

Lack of available plugs by the bed/on the desk to charge electronics.

This is our last hotel/Inn before we fly back to ON. Location is 10 minutes away from the airport. If you drive down Highway #2, there is a plaza there, with restaurants and a supermarket. It is wonderful! The room is huge, and toilet is separated from the jacuzzi. Service is friendly and lovely. When we asked for some plates, they brought them up to us right away. Room has a microwave, you can even bring your own food and heat it up. The Inn has a restaurant at ground level. The Inn has a pool and plentiful parking. However, there was a leakage in the room (beside the ceiling light) during a thunderstorm. No elevators, you will need to carry your own suitcase up the stairs. I will definitely come back for another stay, a highly recommended Inn.

I arrived prior to a big storm and staff were very helpful, giving me a shuttle lift to and from the airport so I could return a rental car early before the storm. Rooms very clean and comfortable, great views, good food at the restaurant on site, and a hot breakfast sandwich provided made to order. The shuttle driver got us safely to the Halifax Airport in very bad driving conditions! Would definitely stay there again!

The Lake Inn was very nice. Great location and the staff were very helpful. The one morning the restaurant wasn't open but they have an amazing egg and ham breakfast wrap made up, it was one of the best I have ever had, amazing And when I checked in I asked if they had a room with a lake view, and they changed our room, very nice of them I would go back again.

They could do with a bit a freshen up with the paint and decor, but the Inn was very comfortable and the staff very nice and helpful.

It was right by the highway and close to the airport.

It was a bit pricy stay without breakfast. There was no elevators but the front desk arranged someone to take our suitcases to the room. The smoking area was set up in front of the main entrance and we didn't like to inhale the smoke every time coming out from the inn.

The Pub restaurant was very nice. The room was very good. Parking was easy. Not too far from the airport ---- about 15 minutes. The Inn was once a classy resort, but has clearly lost its status. Nevertheless, although old, it is being well kept up.

The pub restaurant was open on our evening of arrival, but both restaurants were closed during our one full day there. It was a bit far from decent shopping --- about 20 minutes away.
