We booked a standard King Suite with kitchen. It didn’t have a sofa bed, but our 6 year old slept on the couch made up for her regardless with no issues (she said it was comfy) however if you need a suite with a convertible sofa, the room is much smaller. (We did see one and made our decision after) Our suite had a full kitchen, which was fully equipped, and a bathtub as well as separate shower. The two large floor to ceiling windows in this suite were also amazing! One in living area and one in bedroom. The pool downstairs was clean and well stocked with towels. The pool deck furniture is super comfortable as well! Waterslide was a bonus that we didn’t realize was there. All in all, great stay, comfortable and very clean.

There isn’t much at all I can say badly!

The room service was very good and enjoyed the close proximity of other services such as restaurants, shopping, and easy access.

There was no dresser in my room to store my clothes. Since I was there for 9 nites, a place to store my clothes, other than my suitcase, would've been great. The house coffee, 1967 dark roast coffee, I found, was terrible. The pouches for the room didn't fit the coffee dispenser properly. Those coffee pouches were not made to fit the coffee machine in the room. Someone should look at that.

The shower was much better than the St. John's location and the other Halifax hotel I stayed at during this trip. This pool was also much bigger and had a slide. No kids while I was there.

The hotel chain has a points program that I had joined while in St. Johns. The front desk clerk in St. Johns said my 2 stays (6 nights total) will go on my new points account, but the one in Dartmouth said they only would not since I booked the rooms through Booking.com .

Room was nice but a bit on the small side. Facilities were clean and well decorated. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

Parking was a nightmare. The parking spots are small. We noticed that mant people were using two spaces. If you parked in one spot you had to struggle to get your door open and not ding the cars parked beside you. We won't be staying here again because of the parking.

Hotel was new and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The lighting in the bathroom was very good and there was a magnifying makeup mirror which was appreciated. A room card was required to use the elevator which was a good security feature

View could have been better. It was the roof of the restaurant with the HVAC equipment and this was an upgraded room

This was our favourite suite. My son is 8 and really enjoyed the stay. Beds were comfy and the pool was a favorite as well. Staff seemed friendly enough. It was busy. Things were clean for the most part.

Dishes were dirty in the suit but I didn’t mind rewashing. People above us were a little rowdy, and there was a dog under us who barked for awhile. Minor things that are really out of your control. Maybe next time we would ask for the top floor or something.

Great service from check-in to check-out. Haven't had to deal much with staff, but the few interactions were kind and friendly. Amenities were absolutely amazing, and the pool was really clean and well maintained.

A bit far from downtown Dartmouth; even more from Halifax. So, if someone needs to visit Halifax, prepare to have to drive or use transit (not sure how convenient transit would be there...). Wasn't an issue for us, though.

The bed was very comfortable and loved the mirrors in the bathroom, as well as the shower! The Dennys having room service option is amazing and we will be back!

Could not connect to TV, wasn't an option to cast to it as it said found out later it needed Bluetooth but no indication anywhere to say that 🤷‍♀️ still had live TV though so not too bad

I liked the new modern style and decor, close proximity to Dartmouth Crossing. On site restaurant was good, service good, gf option.

It was rather expensive. I requested an early check in but apparently they didn’t receive it. Had to wait an hour for our room. Not sure why it wasn’t received. Pillows were really thick and I prefer a thinner pillow. Will definitely return - when rates go down for the off season.

I love the location - it's about 3 minutes from my office. Even though I was mainly travelling for pleasure I did work a couple of days. Also, the staff was amazing, they asked me if I'd like a room lower or higher, and when I preferred a corner room, they were very accomodating.

For the price I paid, it would have been nice to have a breakfast included in the price of my room.
