The coffee was good

There was very little room where the few choices of food was. The walkway between the coffee and toaster was very narrow. It said breakfast was included. If you wanted anything but yogurt or toast ther was an $8.99 charge. The food you got for that price certainly wasn't worth the cost. We payed extra to have a room with a jet tub. When we turned the water on all that we could get was nasty brown water. We let it run for a while and then washed the tub out to try again and got pretty much the same result, just a little less brown. We weren't able to use the tub. We wouldn't have taken that room had we known. Very disappointing!

The room was comfortable, the staff were quite friendly and helpful

The breakfast staff, there was one lady on duty doing it all herself. She was beyond overwhelmed because it was very busy, working very hard but she was in tears because she had no help. The was a shortage of plates, cups, cutlery. There was no one to help her, which seems completely unreasonable for trying to prepare breakfast for 30 plus people at one time. I appreciate this lady for all she did, but they need to recognize when help is needed. The way the breakfast bar is set up is not great either, its too small of an area and gets very congested with so many people trying to get coffee, cereal toast etc.

Clean room, amenities available. The pool was on the smaller side but big enough for our family of 5. They have a blackout blind that rolls down which we were grateful for early bedtimes for our littles.

There was some stains on the mattress cover we didn't see until the morning after which was a bit alarming. The ac is a big loud and safe in our room didn't work. We didn't need to use it but making note of it since we could keep it closed so it was causing issues opening and closing the closet. The elevator was a bit slow as well.

Most of the staff, and the manager were helpful

Vending machine ate $5 of my money. 10 minutes into my stay. First staff member just shrugged her shoulders and said too bad, they have no control over the machine. I threatened to go to another hotel and the manger tried to help but couldn't. First staff member then told me to call the vending machine company which got me nowhere. I asked for my $5 back and then they could deal with the vending machine operator but was told no. This experience did nothing to make me want to come back

I enjoyed my stay in general. The room was clean, comfortable. I enjoyed the other amenities such as the fitness centre and pool. I enjoyed the complimentary continental breakfast-it went beyond my expectation. I also like the fact that there is an option to enjoy other breakfast foods not included in the continental breakfast for a small fee. I would definitely return when I'm in town again.

The only thing I didn't like was the shower in pools were not functioning when we were there and no towel supply either.

Excellent Front Desk staff Day and night. Monte Carlo Inn is brand new from top to bottom. Room #403 overlooks the #400 Highway which was extra light all Day. The swimming pool was extra warm and very relaxing. The bathroom and change room is very handy. The dining room restaurant is awesome for Continental breakfast or enhanced Hot meal for an $8 charge, Thursday to Sunday. Beds are always soft and linens and towels are luxurious. Quick check in and check out. Very grateful for this relaxing resort.

Walking along Tiffan Street will take you straight to the beach at Kempenfelt Bay, Lake Simcoe. Skipped the Restaurants and went to the No Frills Grocery store 8 minutes away.

Room was clean. staff were friendly and helpful.

being told by the check in lady that i "had to hand her my credit card" i refused and she eventually let me put in my pin. do not like handing my card to others and will not do this. stop demanding this of your customers. credit card fraud is all to real and not handing your card to anyone minimizes this. you only need to ensure they put in their pin to confirm ownership. Breakfast was lackluster. carbs and yogurt that's it.

The most impressive thing for me, as I went for the breakfast in the morning, I noticed a gentleman that, it seems to me ,had gone thru some very hard times. Maybe he was a homeless person even . He was very quietly sitting in the corner and was enjoying a hit cup of coffee and a wholesome meal, supplied by the hotel, I assume. I tip my head to the hotel, staff and management, for the generosity. For that alone ...... 10 out of 10 points.

The gentleman at the main desk and have a great time chatting. He's awesome. Now that I've stayed there 3 times, and the location is close to 400 hwy Lots of road noise / traffic noise if in room too close to hwy. The latest room had a corner fireplace. I was surprised to see nothing sitting on top mantle. Just Barren. And desk was dusty Other than that, great room/ great value! The elevator was out, or I'd give a 10

The suite we stayed in was incredible. Even the nameplates on the doors were cute added touch. The first look of the room was breathtaking. It looked like a room fitting of a Goddess, with Roman pillars around the four corners of the tub that sits nicely for viewing the sunset or sunrise. The room looked like it had been updated within the last few years. Pretty carpet, leather couch, cute chair, very stylish! The view of the sun setting was so pretty, especially since it was a corner suite. The bed was perfection. Comfortable with the nicest pillows I've had at a hotel. The fireplace was such a nice touch. The fact that it's only for looks and doesn't heat means you can stay there year-round and get the pleasure of using it.

Honestly, I hate having to say anything poorly about this room, but there was one thing that bothered me enough to say something. While using the gorgeous tub, I reached down, and there was something floating in the water. But it moved out away too fast, so I thought it was just the bubbles, and my mind playing tricks, it was not. When I got out and emptied the tub, there was a piece on me and were several pieces in the tub that looked like wet paint that you peeled out of a dish that's dried. It's almost like a rubbery plastic feel to it. I'm not sure where it came from, but it wasn't on there when I started, and it was not on be beforehand. I was honestly turned right off.
