This was the most unexpected experience . I didn’t think we would enjoy our stay as much as we did. We were heading to Gananoque as a last minute plan and not many options were available. So I booked this place with low expectations but it was surprisingly very nice. I loved the nature around the place, I loved the fact that it’s a bit far from the traffic of the town yet 5mn away from the main street. They had sooo much greenery around that we woke up super early to take it all in. I can’t wait to go back to this place. But honestly, if you’re looking for a nice retreat and disconnect from a city, this is a good place to be. The beds were comfortable, the room was clean and didn’t smell. The shower was therapeutic. Also, we could just open the door and let cool air come in. I appreciated so many things about this place.

A lot of comments were made about the breakfast but realistically, this is a cheaper option compared to other properties around the town. I loved their coffee, but don’t have very high expectations. It had all the basics , it had juices, yogurts, toast and muffins. Cereals as well. I was pleasantly surprised overall.

It was our 3rd stay here and as always the staff are so friendly and helpful. The beds are quite comfortable and the rooms have all the necessities. Both pools are wonderful and the hotel is in a perfect location to downtown Gananoque .

Our room this time did need a few minor repairs, and the bathroom could have used a little more cleaning.

The pools were great, but the outside pool needs boards replaced. The breakfast is alright. The staff are terrific, and take care of you. It is a nice place to stay, it just needs some love and care, and a coat of paint! We will be back! Our grandsons are avid swimmers, and they had a blast with us in the pools! And it is nice to have an evening walk around there.

The room should be cleaned better!! There were cobwebs everywhere! And the rooms need to be repainted and updated. The resort is getting old, and it needs lots of T.L.C.! We were also disappointed that the restaurant was not open, it would have helped because of having the grandsons with us! But they loved all of it!

Our room was very basic but perfectly clean and comfortable. The coffee in our room was very good. The grounds are lovely and quiet.

The AC never did shut off when it reached the set temp, so we covered half of it with a curtain.

It was an excellent choice for our one night stay in Gananoque. The hotel is well located, close to the downtown. It is an affordable hotel, with enough amenities to have a good time.

Included breakfast was disappointing… toast, cereal, muffins and yogurt… no bagels, no cheese and only one toaster made for a long line up.

We have stayed here before, so we knew we liked the location. It provides a very peaceful setting, even on the weekend. It’s very close to the downtown. The price was right.

This motel has need of some updates in it’s outdoor amenities...tables and chairs are very scruffy, pool decking is very worn. The dining room/bar could use a refresh in carpeting and atmosphere.

Within walking distance from Ganonoque and the rooms were lovely, clean and pleasant.

The free breakfast was a great addition, but perhaps there could be more to it other than cereal and toast.
