Complimentary order off the menu breakfast was awesome, better than most "do it yourself" breakfast's with a toaster, coffee machine and a yogurt cup. We also brought our bicycles with us on our stay and they let us keep them in their conference room on the main floor. Nice touch. Also, we walked to everything close by. We did not move our vehicle for our whole stay. Parking included in room price was nice also.

Our room location at the Gananoque Inn was not that great. It was on the third floor (no elevators) down at the farthest end of the hallway overlooking a parking lot. For a three night stay, there were probably better rooms available. The room was clean and nice itself, just the location in the hotel could have been better.

The property is close to everything, and a 3 minute walk to the ferry dock. The accommodation, both restaurants and their staff were all and amazing. The view is spectacular. The building is old but has lots of character. The restaurants are great and the view from the restaurants looks over the water and dick where boats come and go. Peaceful and beautiful

The only complaint was the choice of syrup for pancakes. I did tell the restaurant manager that I would have preferred a local maple syrup, as it is made in Canada. Other than that, the breakfasts were very good and everything was amazing.

We loved relaxing on the lawn by the waterfront, having a room with a terrace, and eating at the restaurant by the water - we relaxed much more than we ever expected to. We also appreciated the staff for being customer focused, their friendly service, and for being able to meet our special requests - special thanks to Managet and Lucia. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return!!

Hotel rooms are never perfect - we found the room was a little humid. We also recommend a newer or more powerful hair dryer. Otherwise we were quite comfortable.

The rooms were a little dated but clean. The bathroom had been redone but the sink was pretty small. There was only a face cloth and one large towel for each guest. No hand towels. The air conditioning was set so that the room was cool when we got there which was nice with the heat we have. The front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating!

Breakfast the next morning was a bit of a struggle only due to the fact that there was not enough staff. The waiters were very polite and tried to accommodate as best they could but they just needed more people to manage the amount of guests there were eating breakfast.

The Inn is located next to the harbour and is a lovely well maintained historical building. Liked the material in the room outlining the Inn's history. Enjoyed having two breakfasts and supper on the balcony overlooking the water. The room was clean and well laid out Beds were comfortable. The staff, front desk and wait staff, were all very pleasant and friendly.

The shower took a while to warm up and never really became hot. Would have been nice to have a small fridge in the room. The window curtains covered the air conditioning unit so we had to roll them up to get air in the room.

We had a terrific experience. The staff were always welcoming and accomdated any requests we had. I loved that the Inn was close to the city cruises boarding area, so we had just a short walk to catch our cruise and avoided paying for parking.

We went to the restaurant in the Inn with a group of 8, and it took more than 45 minutes to get our food. Despite that the food was good quality and the staff were efficient.

The lady at reception was pleasant and helpful, humourous and welcoming. The room was great and location perfect. A beautiful location, in fact.

The room needed a full-length mirror, and somewhat nicer tissues and toilet roll. The breakfast was very limited, and the food was just ok. It wasn't up to what we thought would be b&b standard. The breakfast service staff needs customer service training. They seemed unfamiliar with hospitality norms and standards.

This place is fantastic! Great view, walking distance from the dock. Not the least expensive but well worth given the history of the building and geographical position in the town. 20 minutes drive from Kingston makes it an ideal balance between commuting and quietness.

Cannot close the curtains in the bedroom. Some weird noises and occurrences as well.

If you have mobility concerns, be sure to mention it when you book; there is no elevator but for most people walking up stairs to the third floor is fine There is only a shower, no bathtub, No mini fridge but ice and bucket available Like most hotels, the pillows are really fat and awkward to sleep on ….if you like a flatter pillow, bring your own

Charming place in the heart of Gan. I got a sense the staff took pride in it. Keeping in mind that it’s a very old establishment, but it’s very clean and well maintained. We had a room with an updated/modern bathroom and a fireplace. Cute little pub across the street with live music the night we went. And the Christmas lights at city hall were very pretty. Many places to walk to. A made-to-order breakfast was included, which is always a nice thing.

No mini fridge in the room and the spa was closed due to staffing issues.
