Close to Little Italy and Chinatown. Close to 417. You can easily walk to Dows Lake. There is a lovely little restaurant on the main floor that makes grabbing a coffee or snack easy. We were in an upper unit this time and it was very quiet, except for the freeway, which really wasn’t a big issue for us. The staff are so friendly. I also like that there is no cleaning unless you ask for it. The full kitchen is nice.The views from the top are spectacular.

You are only given one key to the room and we sometimes go places separately. And the concierge was unable to get us another fob. So we had to do more planning than usual in a couple of instances. Our room was very warm (25C) even with the heat off and all the windows open (we don’t use air conditioning) so we’re not sure what was up with that. The bathroom is very small. First world problems, all of them.

I liked the cute room and nice view. I loved how soundproof it seemed (I was at the end of the hall which helped). I could hear people in the hallway on occasion but never anyone in any other suites. I also appreciated that it was only about a block away to the bus stop which was easy to use, extremely affordable, and went directly downtown without transfers. I didn’t plan to use the bus but once I saw how easy it was, I was hooked and used a lot of transit.

There was no dish soap or tea towels or k-cups. So while you had dishes and a dish cloth, if you didn’t use the dishwasher (there were dishwasher tabs) then there was no way to wash or dry. And no coffee which is standard in most hotel rooms. Also the pressure in the shower was pretty poor and even budget hotels seems to do a better job at providing a shower head that can have pressure adjusted. So while there were some perks to this place, if you don’t need the kitchen, just find a hotel maybe. Oh and bathroom was tiny but that didn’t bother me too much other than having no counters.

Everything was beyond our expectations. The apartments were extremely clean, fully renovated, and had everything needed and more. The rooms are a good size, comfortable beds, very nice linen. We all loved having balconies and everyone was amazed by the sky top terrace and it's amenities. Parking was close by and very safe. We loved having filtered water always available in the theater room. We will definitely come back next year and will tell our friends that LIV is the best place to stay in Ottawa.

The pillows could have been a bit softer (but this is to my taste). Everything else was truly great and I literally have no more complaints whatsoever.

Attractive foyer, there was a great atmosphere in the building and facilities were great. Pristine apartment, which was well equipped. Staff at the front desk were friendly. The cafe downstairs was a God send, delicious dishes created by Trevor... lovely guy. It was too far for us in the heat to walk downtown, Ubers were very reasonable.

Nothing not to like... There was an evacuation of the building, the fire brigade was called out as the alarm was set off. There wasn't a fire, but there was also no communication, about when it was safe to return to our rooms.

Very clean good location

4 people booked the room. Given 3 towels hand towels and wash cloths for 4 days had to keep going to the desk for towels and more than 3 keurigs in the room and enough soap and shampoo, Cafe was supposed to open at 9;00 for Brunch before we left by sign at the door. Got down at 9;15 chairs still on the table lights off and were told they would open in about half hr so she can get coffee made and prepare. When you have a sign stating what time you open everything should be done and up and running by the time you are supposed to open

Liked location, parking area secure, good eats restaurant was awesome. Staff were amazing and helpful at front

When moved couch stepped in dirt there was dirt , a couple of cherrios cereal etc under couch which we didn’t have at all . Position of couch made it impossible to leave on AC for someone sleeping on it . No plunger in bathroom and needed it eventually was brought one from housekeeping but apparently only one from the building so had to bring back immediately when done

Awesome gym facilities, very nice suite fully equipped and everything worked. Lots of great little touches like full set of dishes, soap shampoo, lovely towels. The Wifi was great and there was a business center, cafe and laundry all available

The only sour note was the other occupants who were drunk and disorderly right outside my room… the staff dealt with them appropriately however. Otherwise nothing negative

Exceeded my expectations! Clean room, very well equipped, secure parking facilities on site and very friendly and helpful staff! In particular, the young man (from Australia) and woman at reception were very helpful in ensuring that my fob was working properly, that I was aware of all the facilities available to me, parking, etc.

I liked everything! I stayed a week, found out near the end of my stay that I could have added my name/room to the directory to buzz people up. That would've been helpful to know when I arrived; a very minor point though, and truthfully, I should have read the welcome package more carefully on day one!

The apartment, the gym, the location. Will definitely return!

We booked a two room apartment for June 22-26 in March, but found on the day of arrival that our apartment had been double booked. They could not provide another two room apartment as booked. However, they offered Sky-1 apartment on the last floor (penthouse style) which has great views, but only one room for the same price as our two room apartment. After some back and forth (we really wanted two rooms), they offered the first night free of charge. The AC did not work properly on the first evening/night, but they fixed it the next day. We ended up having a great stay.

The apartment was very nice with a little sitting area outside. It fit all our needs for space. The bikes available to guest was great and we were impressed with the rooftop entertaining space, gym and hot tubs!

We wished the tv had better internet connection, as we tried to watch a movie and it kept pausing. I wish there was a dish cloth and dish soap, some paper towels and a broom for basic cleanup.
