The building is accessible using public transportation. It is a modern building with some amenities. The people at the reception were friendly and professional. My unit was ready when I arrived and early check in was appreciated. Good internet and entertainment system.

The unit that I got was right above the garage and was facing west. It was always hot regardless of the AC settings. The layout of the unit was really awkward with the bathroom right at the entrance far away from the bedroom. The kitchen has some adequate utensils for cooking but other basics like oil/salt are not provided.

It’s a great affordable place that has literally everything you might need from spoons to coffee machine and tide. Very cozy and nice apartment.

Overall it was clean but bedsheets had like 10 hair on it and pillows had hair on it too but when we asked to change it - there was no one who could do this and we were explained it’s just not washed out in the washing machine but it is clean. However it wasn’t a nice feeling to see this and having to remove them. Also one day in the morning there was no hot water.

Clean , modern, safe and secure building. Quiet and homey feeling

Not enough essentials for the amount of days stayed like toilet paper and towels etc. also the ad for the place mentioned a hot tub and bbq but we did not have access to it which we were looking forward to it. That was misleading.

Our apartment on the 2nd floor was great, close to the fitness room, the elevators and had a mini balcony with a lovely view of trees. There was an in suite washer/dryer which was a real bonus. The kitchen was well equipped. It was very comfortable for 2 people for a week long visit. The location is a real selling point with Little Italy, which has lots of restaurants, just a short walk away. It is also close to Commissionaires Park which is a lovely spot to visit at tulip time or anytime.

Perhaps the front entrance area could use a little upkeep but really everything was fine about this location.

My stay was fantastic. Although I arrived later than expected, the guidance I received on how to obtain the keys to the underground parking, room, etc. was extremely clear. The bed was very comfortable, and the addition of having a kitchen, laundry machine, and small living room was great.

This did not bother me much, but just a note to others, there is a lot of construction currently going on in the area making it a bit loud and tough to drive around at some points.

The clerk (mr that was behind the reception desk with crouches) that was absolutely horrific towards my fiancé. Rude, obnoxious and pretentious for no reason. Upon asking simple questions he was very moody to answer and dismissal. Made my fiancé feel extremely uncomfortable, especially after we have had our request for late checkout confirmed prior. Then denied in extremely condescending manner and later allowed by almighty flamboyant man to stay till 1pm.

Exceptionally spacious, modern and clean apartment with all the amenities! It was so bright and cheery and the balcony was a plus. We were able to charge our plug-in electric vehicle at no charge. SOHO was so accommodating and extended our stay by an additional night. Excellent location!

Location was close to my office, apartment was new, very nice inside, great size. I could adjust the temperature and there was a nice gym!

I found some hairs in the mat of the bed. Some corners were dusty. There were construction noises early morning coming from downstairs…

On the door step to little Italy with lots of places to eat, drink, shop. Easy walk to Dowes Lake, the arboretum, Carlton University, Rideau Canal paths, very, very quiet building ( other than day time construction). The cleanest rental I've had in years. Right next to the future Dowes Lake LRT station. Lovely floor to ceiling windows along the whole south wall, for beautiful views of Dowes Lake until the new high-rise is complete. Excellent choice for an extended stay.

South side apartments are feet away from a new high-rise that is being built. Very noisy from 7 am - 4 pm. Not sure how the other apartments hear the noise.

The property was clean, spacious with excellent storage. The bed was very comfortable. Kitchen facilities good. Entrance to property nice and access worked well. Great location, Little Italy with restaurants and shops one side, Dows Lake and the Rideau Canal the other with beautiful wildlife filled walks. Public transport excellent once you got the hang of it. The #85 bus a short walk away that links to the train into Ottowa. We asked for an apartment on the lower floors and we ended up on the ground floor which was perfect.

Very minor points, there was a washing machine and dryer and washing powder was provided. There was a dishwasher but no tablets, when asked the concierge gave us washing up liquid that stated not for use in dishwashers so we washed by hand. No major problem but surprising given the attention to detail elsewhere. Some construction noise.
