The location is quiet and only a 20 minutes drive to Charlottetown downtown; it’s also close enough to the Cavendish area and the town Victoria. Sam is a very friendly host: he came back to meet us in the middle of a hike and showed us the facility. He also makes restaurant and tour recommendations. Besides, he gave clear instructions beforehand so it’s possible to check in ourselves. We stayed in the room in the basement, which is quiet and has easy access to laundry facility - of great help after a week of travel. The room is confortable, including the additional bed. The bathroom is equipped with branded washing products. The whole house is clean and well maintained. Even though breakfast is said not to be included, abundant food, tea and typical breakfast supply are provided in the fridge so we could feed ourselves in the morning. The dining area offers a nice view.

Great host, everything inside the house was well thought through. All the amenities were great quality. Even though the breakfast wasn't provided and you couldn't use the stove for cooking, Sam keeps all the trimmings to have excellent continental breakfast: milk, juice, yogurt, oatmeal, pastries, fruits, coffee, tea. Sam was also nice enough to point out that we could use electrical steamer, so we could have cooked eggs. We greatly appreciate it. Our room and share spaces were spotless. He suggested the Water Prince Corner Shop seafood restaurant, which was great. Excellent location, fast communication. We would love to stay here again.

The house was lovely. We had access to a number of the common areas. The kitchen was well stocked. We could help ourselves to whatever was in the fridge. We could also put our own items in the fridge with our names on them. Sam was a great host. The room was well stocked and nice and clean. It was raining so we didn't use the outside but it looked so peaceful and quiet. I think there are 6 rooms. I would definitely recommend this place for a family gathering. You could have the whole place to yourselves.

There really wasn't anything to dislike.

-The owner kindly got our room ready so we could check in early which was much appreciated. -So many little extras offered such as brownies and a bowl of fresh fruit as well as the usual breakfast items. - There's an excellent common area with a very well equipped kitchen which is spotless. - Very safe area and security at the property is excellent too. - Comfortable beds - Washing machine/dryer available to use.

-Nothing to dislike. Just be aware it is out of Charlottetown so you need a car.

We had a bad experience at another place prior our stay here and Chez Nous was just amazing! Sam was very friendly, showed us around, explained everything and was very accommodating. He had excellent options for breakfasts. The home was amazingly beautiful, we were able to use all the common areas if we wished and everything was very, very clean. I would recommend Chez Nous to anyone. You will not be disappointed.

Nothing, we loved everything!

Sam and Sam do a wonderful job of keeping the place clean and welcoming for guests. Sam walked us through everything when we arrived and brought us extra towels when we asked. The breakfast is very basic - fruit, yogurt, toast, etc. and please note there is no functioning stove but they do provide an air fryer for use. There are mini fridges in the rooms so you don’t have to put personal food in the main area. Our room also had its own dehumidifier and A/C unit which was really convenient. There was also enough parking for all rooms out front, we never ran into the issue of no parking there so that was helpful.

I would recommend putting a mirror/get ready area outside of the bathroom as the only mirrors were in the bathroom itself. We also only had two blankets, no comforter or duvet. My friend didn’t mind but I’m typically a cold person, especially when I sleep, so having this option would have been nice. The lighting in the room was a bit dim but it got the job done. As for location, it is in Cornwall so going anywhere just took a little extra time but we knew this going into it. I’m practice, I would have maybe stayed here for Charlottetown and area days but for days when you are going north of the island, it might be more beneficial to stay somewhere in that area instead.

Everything! We had to leave a place we had reserved that did not match up to its reviews. We found Chez Nous on Booking.com quickly and were able to get in there right away. We were so happy it was available as it is a lovely clean place with amazing facilities. Sam was very helpful and though they do not offer a cooked breakfast they provide everything one needs: yogurt, cereal, fruit, bread, jam, donuts, juice, coffee, tea (even real Chinese tea)…and chocolates if one wants something sweet during the day. Sam even showed me the laundry room if I needed to wash clothes (which I did!) even it was clean with big, new appliances. It deserves a score of 10 and we highly recommend it.

It was a lovely bed and breakfast (minus the breakfast). The room was large with an attached bathroom. The owner was attentive and responded to all contacts. It was in a nice quiet area and the price was very good. We were allowed to use several areas of the house - the kitchen (dished supplied), two sitting areas with televisions and a dining room. The house was well maintained and we enjoyed our stay.

The shower was a bit awkward. It was a clawfoot tub (looked great) but the shower was a heavy showerhead that you had to hold. A minor inconvenience but if you have any mobility issues, it would be very difficult for you to get into the tub.

Sam is a very nice host. He waited us for check-in and familiar us with the household facilities. Complimentary juice ,snacks , fruit, bread for self serve were prepared and we didn't need to buy any breakfast at all. Every corner of the house is clean and stylish, it reflects how much efforts the host couple has put into it . The bed is comfortable and the whole environment is quiet and relax. A great place for vacation. I will definitely recommend to my friends. Thank you Sam.

The guest house is impeccably clean with a spacious bedroom that was very comfortable for three adults. Often, a bedroom listed for three is only really big enough for two, with an extra bed squeezed in. This was actually spacious enough for three adults. The shared kitchen is large, modern and fully equipped so we were able to make a full meal and eat outside on a lovely terrace overlooking the lovely grounds. Everything was plush, modern, bright and clean. Very comfortable!
