The building was adorable and very clean. Various items (toiletries, kitchen supplies, food, refrigerator) were supplied for guests. I appreciated that food was served at 9:00 a.m. and there was a large variety of items available in the cupboards/fridge in addition to the foods that the owner brought at 9:00 a.m. Backdoor and front porch area were additional places to sit and enjoy the scenery. Parking was included, which was appreciated. Owner was quick to answer when we called during check-in. Great location that was minutes from the rest of the downtown core area - could see St. Dunstan's Basilica from the street we were on!
Curtains in the bedroom didn't cover the whole window, so light came in early in the morning. Didn't receive our check-in instructions via email, so had to call the owner to get the code for the door. Owner confused us for a different guest, so we ended up getting their room and door code, and when that other person arrived, they had the code to our door.

Check-in was seamless, and the place was very clean. Bathrooms and room were good. Location is excellent being less than a 10 min walk to downtown and less than 5 min to the waterfront. AC in room is nice. Older home converted but some original charm kept. Good communication with hosts and quick replies when there was some confusion. Linens and towels were crisp, shower products were provided. Kitchen area was nice, if small.
Breakfast starts later (9am) and is limited to store bought baked goods, cereal, fruit and yogurts. Entryway is small and door frame joining stairs is less than 6' high while the door creaks like a banshee.

Amazing location close to everything downtown, excellent AC, really solid free breakfast, check-in keypad was easy to use
You don't have a private washroom, as they are shared washrooms. If you absolutely need a private washroom, then I wouldn't stay here. But otherwise they were just fine. Also the walls are a tad thin, and you can hear people quite well in the hallways. Not in the other rooms thankfully, but worth flagging if you need absolute quiet at all times.

Lovely room! And the location was perfect.
I had trouble with the house door locks. Never having encountered a touch pad system before I didn't realise that one had to press the invisible house icon on the bottom left before entering the passcode. When I touched the screen, the numbers lit up and I entered the passcode then expected to press an 'enter' key of some sort. I tried all sorts of things, but nothing worked. This left me almost panicking and having to text, email and call the owner. Other guests and someone who worked at the B&B then arrived and showed me what to do. PLEASE add this important step to the instructions you send your guests!!! The breakfast was minimal - not really worth staying for.

Breakfast included was Continental with yogurt, self serve at open breakfast room one flight up, there is also a self help kitchen space on ground level with fridge and microwave oven. Dishes very clean and very organized with dishwasher after used by guests.
It suited with our short stay in the city. I think people should understand that this is a 'shared' house with 2 ensuite units. No total privacy but fine if guests are respectful. There are stairs to manage for some of the rooms, make sure people are aware of it.

Excellent location in Charlottetown. Able to walk every where. Safe and kind people. We had the suite with private bathroom on first floor. Big windows overlooking pretty green. Loved learning more about the culture and Anne of Green Gables. Getting around the island is a must. Having a car is very helpful. Great seafood, ice cream and potatoes! We can’t wait to come back to this charming and very friendly island!

Loved the location of the property, I was able to walk anywhere downtown in the span of 10 minutes! The room I stayed in was a pretty big size which I liked, and the bathrooms were very clean!
The bed was okay…a little lumpy and the pillows were very hard but all things didn’t affect the quality of my stay!

Sunny Home B&B is conveniently located minutes from downtown Charlottetown by foot. Great seafood restaurants, shopping, live entertainment, Harbour views and parks. AC in each room came in so handy during a heat wave. Continental breakfast was included, bonus.
Missed having overhead lights.

Was amazing! I had to arrive late and she was very accommodating. She was easy to get ahold of and answered fast. The location was perfect.i could walk most places. My bed was comfortable. The room was cute and antique. I felt safe and secure there. The place was very clean, and Her and her staff were lovely.

Cozy and confortable option at the center of the action in Charlottetown. Close to the marina and several options of bars and restaurants. Staff and the owner are very friendly and accessible.
We had the suite room, which is located just in front of main entry and the stairs to upper level. Since it is an ancestral house, if you have a light sleep you might have problems with the mouvement in the entrance. Not a big deal if you ask me, specially considering the value for money.
