The hotel scared me at first. I thought I chose the sketchiest hotel in Charlottetown, but once you go inside, you see how nice and clean it is. The rooms were spacious, and so was the washroom. I'm traveling the east coast this week, and it's one of the bigger rooms around that I have stayed in. The location was great as well. It was only a few minutes to everything.

There were a few things I wasn't a fan of but it wouldn't stop me from returning. 1 is the AC units; because they're window AC's the one above us kept dripping onto ours all night so my sleep was terrible. Second was the gym; most of the stuff didn't work, really what ever not a big deal. Third the breakfast; I mean they don't claim it's a hot breakfast or anything but I did book it thinking I'd save myself from going out for breakfast the next day. I couldn't eat anything from there. It was bagels, muffins, bread, cereal, apples and yogurt. Honestly though there were no bed bugs so this hotel was a win even if the breakfast was a let down.

The location is brilliant within easy walking distance of the marina, the cathedral, Province House, loads more churches, public buildings and downtown shops. Were given a refund for lack of TV service.

Room had no exterior windows and was over the pool area which could have been noisy. Not only was the TV not working, it couldn't be repaired in the two days we were there. There were difficulties with the coin operated laundry facilities.- lost a dollar and had to find 24 quarters to use both washing machine and dryer.

They were accommodating to other requests and kind. We didn’t have any trouble having some friends in to visit, and they politely asked us to lower voices at quiet hour which we obliged.

I had requested a room on the top floor but it was not accommodated and I was not informed before arriving that it could not be fulfilled and the room was half the size I’d expected. I wanted to be away from others and have a bigger room so as not to disturb other guests with our chatter.

By the time we got to breakfast it was only bagels toast muffins and cereal, not sure if that’s the norm or not. It was okay though because we were a bit hungover, LOL. The desk staff were very polite, I didn’t have a credit card and didn’t understand why I couldn’t use my debit visa for the damage deposit and he explained why the best he could and was very nice about it, especially when other people were coming in and yelling at him for simply doing his job. 10/10 front desk staff you have!

I found the staff very friendly and knowledgeable as well the housekeeping staff went out of their way to make our stay just a bit more comfortable and the maintenance staff were fast and courteous they worked above and beyond when we had a problem

I didn't like that thr pool was only open the first 2 nights we were there and the vending machine choices were very outdated also the continental breakfast was so boring they should have some hot food on the menu

Suite was Clean, and spacious. Hotel was usually quiet, AC was responsive, parking not a problem, location was convenient. The kitchen was good and clean, but see below.

The kitchen had was missing most utensils to prepare and cook food. I had to request a cutting knife and a coffee maker. If a “suite” includes a kitchen, then PROVIDE the basic and necessary things to prepare and eat food. This was negligent and disappointing. Your clients should not have to ask for standard items.

As advertised, the building is under renovation. Very good stay with little disruption as a guest. An upgraded room in another building was offered at no additional cost but we chose to stay with the room we booked. No restaurant facilities at this time, but a breakfast is offered daily.

The breakfast service was excellent. The food was fresh and hygienic, and the two ladies at the breakfast area were especially kind and provided outstanding customer service

The room was in a different building from the check-in location, which caused some inconvenience

Picked this hotel for it's location. Fifteen minute walk to the Lobster on the Wharf on the waterfront. Two minute walk to "Anne & Gilbert, the Musical". Even though construction was ongoing, we were not inconvenienced at all. Great tunnel under the street for easy access to the pool and breakfast. Friend drove us around to see the downtown area.

This hotel is very dated but renovations are in progress. This did not affect our stay at all but can’t wait to go back when complete. Service is wonderful, all staff are very friendly and helpful Breakfast is basic, but enough to satisfy…bagels, cereal, toast, muffins, fruit, yogurt, coffee, juice. Price and location…perfect. This is not a 5 ⭐️ by any means. Go and enjoy but expect 2-3 ⭐️ and you will not be disappointed.

It’s in dire need of renovations which looks like they are underway.
