The breakfast was absolutely amazing! The location is fabulous, an easy walk to everything in Charlottetown. The staff is just delightful, very thoughtful and caring. The sweet touches for our anniversary stay were very appreciated (photo included in my review)🩷

The only real complaint is that the bed is quite squeaky and the mini fridge is a bit noisy for the room we were in. I sleep with earplugs so not a big deal for me but if you are sound sensitive these are considerations.

I have stayed at several inns here in Charlottetown, and this one is exceptional and hands down my favourite. Everything from the interior decor, to amenities, to service was great. The highlight is absolutely the incredible breakfast that is prepared by Randy every morning. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay!

Cleanliness of carpets/bathrobe/bath mat could use a wee bit more improvement. The decor in my room was beautiful and while I appreciate the aesthetic, the amount of decorative pillows on the bed were just a little much.

Charlotte's Rose Inn made a wonderful trip to PEI exceptional. The staff could not be kinder or more thoughtful, going out of their way to help us plan day trips, give recommendations, and accommodate our travel schedule (a particular shoutout to Randy here). Every single thing is done with care, including the truly phenomenal breakfast, which is an experience of its own. We loved our stay here and unreservedly recommend the Inn for future travelers in search of a singular place to stay on PEI.

They’ve thought of all the little touches and they go out of their way to help you find what you need. Breakfasts are fabulous. Staff are fabulous. The house is fabulous. It feels like Aunt Josephine’s house and getting to stay in the spare room. (From Anne of Green Gables). Amazing. The Pilot Room(?) just two blocks up the street was really good. There is a post office just a couple blocks up the street on Queen street, as well as banks and cute shops.

Cute inn, lovely and accommodating staff. Excellent breakfast included, comfortable bed, large bathroom. Friendly staff were also able to do my laundry for just $5 CAD/load!

Can’t be helped but there are some steep narrow stairs to navigate if you have a large suitcase (but was pre-warned about that)

Staff were sweet and their explanation was clear. They gave us lots of information about sightseeing. Also, we can get tasty breakfast. The beds were comfy. We spent excellent time. Location is great.

We arrived at night so finding their parking spaces was a bit difficult for us.

As a period property it was very nice. The breakfast was excellent

The bed was a little too high and a bit rickety and the shower, while very nice once you got it adjusted, was very difficult to control. The body jets, in particular, were too strong since there is no way to control the water pressure

Beautifully furnished, equipped, and maintained. I fear that from now on, every place I will stay at will struggle to catch my attention the way this one did.

The stairs when you have heavy luggage. The staff was ready to help, though.

The warm personal welcome and the helpful happy worker, the beautiful rooms that look just like the photos, the amazing breakfast. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend! Much better than the big hotels where you pay extra for everything and are one of many, this lovely inn had the ‘at home feel, personal touch and all the help yourself treats etc we’re such a great surprise.

Our shower gel/body wash was empty but I’m sure had we noticed earlier and mentioned they would have refilled!
