Personally welcomed at the front door. The hotel has a very friendly welcome and is very accommodating, offering a choice of rooms. The room was very clean with plenty of towels, soap, and other toiletries. HVAC equipment worked very well and allowed for individual room temperature settings. I was personally invited to breakfast and when the people from the Inn realized I would be leaving before breakfast, they offered and brought me a goodie bag that I took in the morning that contained breakfast items. Thank you for the excellent service and for being so welcoming!!

There wasn't anything to dislike about my stay or the facility.

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights in late September 2024. We loved everything about this charming B&B. The owner/hosts were gentle and humble with every interaction. They were wonderfully accommodating and our room was spotlessly clean as was the entire facility. The gourmet breakfasts were expertly prepared and beautifully presented. The chef and hosts warmly greeted the guests each morning at breakfast but not intrusively. We felt as if we were in the home of dear friends throughout our stay. This helped us to relax and enjoy all the beauty and charm of this fascinating Island. We live in Cincinnati, Ohio USA and this was a special trip for us...we very recently retired! PEI is a great distance from us, we drove the entire route making many stops to and from PEI. These owner/hosts and their charming Inn make us wish that we could visit again! If we do we would only stay at "The Inn on The Harbor."

The included breakfasts were fabulous, cooked by the hosts each morning. They were fastidious in their cleanliness. The Inn was very conveniently located to restaurants along the waterfront and was a fairly brief walk to the downtown area of Charlottetown. The PEI tours that we took started just a short walk away from the Inn. Water bottles and small chocolates were placed in our room each day.

The only minor knock on the Inn is that it is an old but updated building. The shower was adequate but not in a modern style. Likewise, the room furniture is more antique style although still quite comfortable.

Located steps from the water and downtown Charlottetown, we found this charming hotel. Katherine and Lee were amazing hosts. We stayed in the McGuirk-Macellan room, which was incredibly spacious. Beautifully appointed with a sitting area, mini fridge, coffee maker, and hot-tub and fireplace. A great continental breakfast with a special each morning was served in the dining room and it was delicious. Lee was a wonderful chef! Don't miss the French toast! Thank you!

The breakfast was amazing. We had the French toast one day and omelette with bacon the next. It was beautifully presented and tasted great. The hosts were so helpful and kind and got our breakfast out quickly when we had to leave early for the airport. It was in a super position so handy for everywhere. Also there is parking outside the Inn and the hosts had put cones out to save the space for us. The fridge in the room was very welcome too.

Loved it all

Very quaint and personal and much more enjoyable than a large corporate stay. Katherine was an amazing host. The rest of the staff/family was equally attentive. There was a personal hot breakfast made daily which was so much better quality than I expected. The bed was comfortable, it felt very safe. It was clean and felt like I was at home. I would stay there again anytime. Many of my work colleagues stayed at the delta and had many complaints about poor food and tired rooms. I was delighted I chose to stay off site. It was a 4 min walk to my conference and my room overlooked the water. Thank you Katherine and staff.

location was quite convenient if you like walking as it is a few blks to the main drag on Queen St but it is right opposite the Founders Food Market and some waterfront shops and restaurants, 3 of which were quite good, only drawback is that it is a house so floors are not sound proof that you can hear guests above bathing and walking around at nite other than that, it is a family run Inn and they were very gracious and welcoming, making extra efforts to give us special breakfasts everyday like pancakes one day, scrambled eggs another etc etc I would recommend it!

We really liked our stay. The owners were simply outstanding in every way. Friendly, helpful and very accommodating. The Inn is exceptionally clean and how many places wash the outside porch? The bed was excellent, the bedding was new. The room was well appointed. The breakfast was outstanding. Every day there was a special breakfast and I would give the Chef a 10 out of 10. We had 4 breakfasts and all were excellent. The location was very good with an easy walk to al amenities. Highly recommended !!!

The staff were very friendly- evidently a family run establishment. They stayed up for my very late arrival due to flight disruptions and were back at it for the early breakfast crowd. The free breakfast was very good (one hot meal prepared to order accompanied by a continental selection). I had an omelette with bacon accompanied by seasonal fruits. The hotel was located in a central location that was easily walkable to everything there is to do in Charlottetown with ample street parking for cars. A food/coffee hall with some tourist shops and tourist information brochures is located directly across the street.

The facilities were a bit dated, but this is something that you will find in most hotels in PEI.

The hosts are extremely accommodating. The Inn itself is charming, and the rooms have all you need for a short stay. The breakfast is probably the best of any B&B we've stayed. There is a fresh hot meal option each day made to order and delicious. The location was perfect for walking around Charlottetown.

The parking is limited to three spots for 7 rooms, but at not busy times, you can find parking just around the corner.
