This is a beautiful historic property located just one street from Victoria Park and the waterfront boardwalk and is only 3 or 4 blocks from some of my favorite restaurants downtown. The room was lovely, cozy warm, with a fridge, coffee, and large screen tv.

Be prepared for the character that comes with older homes! The floors squeak and it takes time to get hot water to the 3rd floor. Breakfast was not available at 6AM but, when I called ahead, the staff provided a bagged breakfast at check-in to keep in the room which was a nice alternative.

OJ,my wife has a fragrance sensitivity.All the bed linens and towels had been washed with a strong smelling perfumey detergent that made her nauseous.The smell was all pervasive and never went away.It didn't really bother me,but there are probably more people that are sensitive.I would suggest a different detergent.Also there were three lights that shined all night.One was the fire alarm that blinked like a strobe every few minutes.One red light always shined on the heaT PUMPand a brightgreen light to indicate the light switch.We ended up putiing black tape over two lights.Again..not a big deal to me but the wife could not sleep with these lights.

The B&B is only a short walk from the centre of Charlottetown, located in a quiet leafy street. We booked the Queen Room with Sea View (The C B Chappell Room), and it was a massive room. The bed, which was also huge, is nestled in the recess of the bay window. There is a bath in the corner of the bedroom, which did strike us as odd, but isn't a negative. The bathroom itself is also very big, with a walk in cupboard at the back of it. So plenty of clothes storage space. The building itself is a very impressive old house, and ornately decorated. There were enough parking spaces for all guests, but this included parking on grass, as well as hard standing. Breakfast consisted of cereals, fresh fruit, various breads and bagels (with a toaster), a hot drinks station, and hot food buffet dishes (sausages, scrambled eggs and potato wedges when we were there).

My only disappointment with the property would be the staffing, and this isn't a negative as such. We had (naively perhaps) expected to be greeted/hosted by the owners, as we have in other B&Bs in Canada, but this was not the case. We only ever saw two employees. There was a young male receptionist, who checked us in and answered any queries. And another gentleman set up the breakfast in the morning. They were both perfectly pleasant, and clearly this is being run as a business. We just missed that interaction.

Breakfast was a disappointment. As they had only 2 rooms out, they pre plated a cooked breakfast, wrapped it and left it on the table. When we came down to the breakfast room we had no idea who the plates were for, or how long they had sat there. Lukewarm potato wedges, sausage and eggs were in no way appealing. There was a microwave, but the plates had metal rims, so were not microwave safe.They would have been better off just offering the fruit, cereal and toast, as the lukewarm food was very off putting and neither us or the other guest ate any of it.

Eden Hall is perfect. It is a very beautiful house, the bedroom was perfectly furnished and the bed the most comfortable I have slept in. The owners and staff could not have been more welcoming or helpful. Breakfast was fantastic, including the home made croissants. It is in a beautiful part of the town, with easy walking access to all facilities. There is a real sense of pride and love and community communicated by the owners. Thank you for a wonderful stay in your home.

Eden Hall is very exceptional in its themed room and antique decorations dotted around the house. The sitting areas were quite beautiful and the dining hall (albeit small) was also cozy. Our room was exceptional, was great to come in and feel right at home, the sheets were clean, and the beds comfortable. Plus as we came in the room was cold and we were welcomed with music relating to our “Lost Sea” room.

A bit pricey for 1 night, but willing to pay as the property was unique.

We were extremely pleased with our stay at Eden Hall Inn. The facilities, at least for our room, were excellent with beautiful decor and a large living space. The private washroom was also excellent with full shower and counter space. There was a jacuzzi tub in our living area at the base of our very comfortable bed. The staff were all excellent, friendly, and courteous. When we arrived in our room it was late due to traveling during the day. Our room was ready for our arrival with inviting lighting already on, the tv was on and showing beautiful settings, and comforting music was playing in the background. The breakfast was an excellent buffet with plenty of variety. Parking was adequate and private on the grounds. The location of the property was excellent. We loved the wrap around porch also.

Authentic place, clean and well maintained. Close to a lot of attractions. Available parking Comfortable place with smart TV, and coffee machine with supply.

Bathroom heaters turns off sometimes making the bathroom quite cold, but hot water and the room heater are excellent. Staff, however are responsive, and ready to help.

The staff was very accommodating as we moved from the Fairholm inn because of a power outage. We were able to do an early check in and the front desk host also provided us with a simple breakfast as we did not recieve ours earlier. The decor is Victorian and comfortable. We had a view of the ocean from our room.

Prepare to bring your bags up narrow stairs; we were in the top floor. We are capable of this and should be expected in the Inn’s as they are old homes converted into Inns.

The buffet breakfast had all of the essentials. The property was very clean and classy looking. There was attention to detail in the decor, from the colour scheme to the actual furniture/decorations. It was a very lovely spacious accommodation. There was water filling stations and glasses near the rooms with a shared microwave (did not use). The location was on a safe, quiet side street, but walking distance to the waterfront restaurants etc. There was sufficient parking onsite.
