This hotel hosted an event that I attended in May 2025. I was given a complimentary upgrade which was a nice touch and it was a lovely room, really spacious, modern and finished to a really high standard. It made for a really comfortable stay. Breakfast was impressive with lots of high quality options for people of all different counties and diets. Lunch buffets however were even better! So many different types of meats, salads, seafoods. The hotel is a large complex also with other bars and restaurants, so again lots of choice. Location was ideal: by a small river which was picturesque and had more bars and restaurants alongside it. It was also 12 miles to the airport. Next time in Beijing i would definitely like to stay here again.

The staff are courteous, professional, and always ready to go the extra mile to ensure guests have a pleasant stay. Whether it's providing local insights, arranging transportation, or accommodating special requests, their attention to detail is commendable.

Position is top and the access to the Yansha river area behind is great. And so is the access to metro station, shopping centre and other shopping areas. The food choice at breakfast is absolutely great. We also had dinner once at their main buffet restaurant and it was not second to the high quality of the breakfast. The staff are super nice. The rooms are not brand new but very comfortable (especially the beds) and well clean, with very attentive staff coming to the room more than once a day to check on your necessities. The concierge desk and bell boys are very efficient too. We felt that it was a great place to stay and settle down in Beijing after a long flight and before a long adventure in China. It’s a classic stay with great value for money!

The hotel is excellent! It is very clean, congratulations to the cleaning ladies because they did an amazing job. The breakfast is delicious and the personnel was kind and helpful (they also know english). The bed was very comfortable.

The hotel is a bit old, but it doesn’t affect the quality of the experience. Despite the fact that the breakfast is varied, they don’t do refills to foods that are finished. You need a shower cap for the pool, and if you don’t have one, you need to buy it at the pool desk with an extremely overpriced value.

Every aspect is exceptional. No complaints. You won't find any other hotels in Beijing area with the same level of quality. The room has been refurbished so it looks like a brand new hotel interiorly. The cleaning service is offered twice daily. The staff are superbly enthusiastic and always willing to go extra mile to help. On top of everything, the dining buffet experience was a surprise for us with very delicate food and comfy ambience. Kempinski maintains its strong brand in China.

The shower water has inconsistent temperature so you'd have to constantly swerve the shower head and it is easy to overshoot then water becomes too hot or cold. This is the only downside.

The hotel is stunning and the rooms were huge with a large bed. The price was very good value considering how immaculate the hotel was. The breakfast buffet selection was fantastic and was a big highlight. As a tourist I wasn't totally sure where would be a good location to stay. The hotel is about an hour drive from the airport, but is worth it. If you're taking tours to the classic tourist locations (Great Wall, Forbidden City, etc), then its in a good location for tour groups to pick you up from. The area is very nice and situated just by a river - lots of nice restaurants near by and a shopping centre next door was very convenient.

The room was cleaned multiple times per day, which although is very nice - doesn't make much sense. There were a few times I was awoken from a nap because of the maids asking to clean the room again, even though they had only tidied it a few hours ago. Just remember to put the do not disturb sign on if you plan on having a snooze after spending the day out.

Was told upon entry they decided to upgrade my room. Didn’t see the one I booked so no way to tell. All the sockets on one side of the room wasn’t working but there were enough not to complain. Clean, spacious, free mini bar (maybe that was the upgrade come to think of it). I enjoyed my stay. The bath was my favourite. It was perfect and I’d happily stay again. Shout out to Alan Zuo and the rest of the team managing the front desk… but Alan was very warm welcoming and friendly.

Incredibly beautiful property, so clean and every one of the staff made me feel so welcome and safe.

My room did not have any hot water for the shower or bath. I didn’t mention this to the staff though as I was only staying one night and the weather was quite warm anyway that I didn’t mind a luke warm shower. I did think maybe it was just a general occurrence but when I spoke with my husband who also stayed at this hotel before he said he never had a problem with hot water here. So this issue might have just been the particular room I stayed in (911). Other than that, everything was incredible

+ The breakfast buffet was great. The hotel offered a wide variety of dishes, including options from both European and Chinese cuisines. + The staff did an outstanding job, and I was very pleased with their service!

- The bathroom facilities are in urgent need of repair. During my 3-night stay, I had to change rooms three times due to leaking issues, one of which I did not notice immediately and resulted in my fall. This was a very unpleasant experience that significantly tarnished my impression of the hotel and caused a change in my original plans.
