Amazing property in a good modern location. Duty Manager John Zhu was always full of smiles and ready to walk with you to help with anything. Without him, there is no Ascott. There is a Starbucks and Lavazza below the hotel and many more restaurants nearby.

Breakfast arranged by a third party and a bummer. And the entrance to hotel is a little difficult for taxis.

The room is quite big and clean. All the things you will need are there in the unit. The bathroom is really nice. the whole studio is clean and tidy. All the front staff speaks english and even the other staffs will help you by using a translation app.

The sockets were not friendly and the power adaptor is not easy to buy/find outside. I had to rely on usb outlet. The reception lobby is on the 6th floor so it is a bit hard to find. But there is a staff on the 1st floor to assist you.

Ascott ICC has so far been my go-to hotel whenever I visit Guangzhou. The location is quite central and there are a lot of restaurants and cafes nearby. The facilities are well maintained and the gym is very well equipped. The breakfast was really good, usually, I skip breakfast but the hotel offers breakfast through a restaurant in the adjacent mall I thought I'd try it and I'm glad I did. The food was fantastic and it changes every day. Finally, the staff is very helpful, especially the receptionist Justin deserves a special mention. I will definitely be booking again on my next visit!

The hotel is very nice and perfect for a work trip. It's located quite close to a lot of restaurants and shops, even a mall next door. The rooms are very clean and the beds very super comfortable. The staff despite their limited English were very helpful. And breakfast was one of the best I've had, quite a good selection. It's handled by a restaurant located in the mall and they do a really good job. If you're visiting the Canton fair or just visiting this is a good choice.

One English-speaking staff member needs to be on duty in the front office. We had no issues however it may be required if guests have more detailed requests or need support.

The facility and room is modern and pretty new. Booking.com need to inform in their Application that all the China hotels are asking for deposits equal or greater than the room charge. Booking is aware of this and choose to remain silent on this topic shame on you. I refused to pay any deposit in the four hotels I stayed at in China for this trip. That noice that it's their policy did not fly with me. I refused and instructed them to charge me at check-in the full amount of my stay and not a penny more. By making them charge me upfront it prevented them from charging a deposit. With that said, the bed was so hard I woke up in pain and checked out. The room is fine but the hardness of the bed got the best of me. Did not try the breakfast, therefore can't comment. Front desk staff were helpful but at time didn't want to speak English eventhough the day before he plainly spoke English to me. Location is in the middle of everything and close to the Metro train. They are Profesional, nice and I would recommend then. Ask for Shelly if you have any issues she is great at problem solving, a personal thanks to her. Also kudos to the cleaning staff.

The bed was so hard, I did not extend my stay. That was it everything else was great.

I stayed in many 5* hotels around China, Ascott one of the best. First of all - good location, we just walked to hotel from Guangzhow East train station. Hotel is new and everythng inside rooms too. In general room nice decorated and has literally everything that you can need - not just hair dryer and iron, but also big fridge and even washing mashine. Nice breakfast in cafe downstairs.

It was clean and the size of the room was perfect. Also the area is so clean and nice, but they took a 1000 yuan as a deposit and told me when checked you’ll receive the amount on Ali Pay by tomorrow and I didn’t receive it yet !!!!

In general very good hotel, walking distance from Guangzhoudong station (10 minutes) and metro station (5 minutes). Rooms are clean and comfortable.

Breakfast could be better. Air condition blows directly to the bed, no chance to change it, only turn it off.
