The rooms are comfortable and spacious, with commanding views of the Tianhe district. The beds are very comfortable. The staff are polite and helpful. The location is excellent and walkable to Linhexi on Line 3 (Orange), close to parks, shops, restaurants and malls and relatively near to Guangzhou East Railway Station.

The check-in and check-out can take too long on occasions with only two staff members doing this job. Of course, it depends on the number of guests arriving or leaving. There is a no-stop check box to drop the key card and you can get the invoice emailed later. Checking in is often an issue.

Everything was good.

Had an excellent stay at this Hilton property for four nights including the weekend. Miranda noted my requirements for a quiet room and upgraded my booking. There was an issue with the room allocated which she promptly resolved. Thanks Miranda. The room was large, very quiet, very comfortable and has great city views. There is a great gym and pool. All the staff were friendly and helpful during my stay. My only comment is regarding the breakfast, I would have preferred more vegetarian options and healthy options and for things to be more clearly labelled as suitable.

- Walking distance (note: 15-20 minutes) to 2 metro stations: Guangzhou East (high-speed rail available here) and Linhe West. - Relatively quiet because the hotel is located on a smaller street off the busy Linhe West Road. - Wide variety of options for breakfast. - Room and bathrooms are big; Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries provided. - A selection of pillows (standard, firm, etc.). - A couple of 7-11's and local eating places right next door.

- A staff member was visibly annoyed when we enquired about the free shuttle bus to the airport upon checking out. He referred us to a sign and told us we have to register for the bus an hour before.

Room is spacious, very comfortable and very clean. With floor ti ceiling window, it is also sunny and cheerful..... Housekeeping was so good that I have never found 1 mistake or 1 item mussing from my room.... Bathroom very luxurious and relaxing.....Breakfast buffet was awesome and able to satisfy any taste .... Dinner buffet was impressive with lobsters, crabs, sashimi, shrimps, many types of meat and a vast selection of dessert... Staff is very friendly and wants ti help all the time....

We had the most OUTSTANDING stay at Hilton Guangzhou Tianhe! My friend and I were visiting for the Canton Fair and were absolutely blown away with our stay from start to finish. We got a pleasant surprise when we checked in that we had been upgraded to the Panorama Junior Suite and wow! The room was beautifully luxurious, generously spacious, clean and very comfortable! We could not get over the gorgeous panorama view too. Two women travelling on our own we felt safe, comfortable and very well taken care of by all staff. The evening we arrived we noticed a man greeting every single guest and helping with everyone’s luggage, we later found out by staff that he was the the general manager of the hotel Rudi. It was incredible to see staff no matter their position were passionate about their guests experience and providing exceptional service from start to finish. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and spoke good english. The buffet breakfast was delicious and a must do, so many different options to suit anyone’s taste whether your local or a travelling international guest. Our upgrade meant we also had access to the Executive Lounge offering breakfast, refreshments and even enjoyed a cocktail during happy hour. The lounge also provided a quieter place to retreat to work if we wanted to. Overall we had the most INCREDIBLE stay that left an everlasting impression on us. When we travel back to Guangzhou for business from now on we will only book at the Hilton at TianHe. Thank you again Hilton TianHe for a wonderful stay! See you again soon. Paige

We arrived during a peak period, at close to year end and there was like 2 different seminars being held at the hotel concurrently. Although we had requested 2 rooms that were next to each other initially, there were none available. However, the gentleman serving us at the ground floor reception was very patient and after a bit of searching, advised that the only rooms that were available close to each other were on the executive floor. There was an upgrade cost involved, but ultimately it was a good deal as it came with daily breakfast, use of the private executive lounge, and happy hour (from 6-8pm; and included a buffet spread good enough for dinner). Rooms were comfortable though the second twin bed room came with a basin countertop built for kids (it was 30cm lower than normal) - not great when your children are no longer kids). We skipped the crowd by checking out at the executive lounge reception. The ladies at the exec lounge were very helpful - they helped us get tables for breakfast when it was full, and checking out took less than 5 mins.

Location is close to the GZ East train station from which we took the high speed train to Shenzhen. Looks walkable on map, but it is not. Better to book a DiDi car. Hotel has a ferry service to the station, but it only runs at 9am and 11am. We needed to leave at 10am so we booked a DiDi 6seater to fit our luggage in. Hotel was really busy but the upgrade to the executive floor helped make the stay more comfortable.

The hotel is located in a quiet area. Around 700m walk to go to mrt. If you are lazy to walk you can book shuttle but need to book 30mins in advance. You can also book shuttle from guangzhou railway east Station back to hotel. The hotel is clean and well maintained. The breakfast has many varieties especially western food. We enjoyed our stay. Hotel nearby has 7 eleven and a few eateries.
