Our stay at The Westin Guangzhou was an outstanding experience from start to finish. We were truly impressed by the staff's flexibility; we arrived at 8 AM, and they immediately gave us a room at no extra charge. The accommodation was impeccable, clean, comfortable, and met all of our needs. A special shout-out goes to Hugo, the front desk receptionist, who was a true professional. He was kind, helpful, and handled any issues with a brilliant attitude. And the breakfast—it absolutely exceeded all expectations. It was the most delicious breakfast we have ever had. The selection was vast, and the quality was simply fantastic. Overall, The Westin Guangzhou is an excellent choice that we highly recommend to everyone. The flexibility, high-standard service, and exceptionally delicious breakfast all contributed to making our stay unforgettable.

The room was very well appointed and tasteful. Very spacious and housekeeping was brilliant, very clean and knew the needs of the guests. The bed was very large and comfortable. The breakfast was brilliant with a huge array of fresh options including western options which was so great. The hotel is in a great location and the pool is fun.

The wifi was very unreliable and kept dropping out or was slow. When we checked in we enquired about laundry and were told that one regular load of washing was absolutely ridiculously priced at about US$150 - not joking. Additionally that they were the cheapest in town and there was no self service anywhere. Seemed very unrealistic and extortionate. In the pool you had to wear a swimming cap which I’ve never encountered anywhere and was annoying but not major.

I've always loved the Westin Hotel. This stay felt especially amazing ,I was very satisfied with both the room and the service! The duty manager, Caroline, was incredibly friendly. She helped us extend our check-in and recommended many great spots to visit in Guangzhou, which really warmed our hearts. I've already recommended this hotel to my friends and will definitely be staying here again!

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! From the moment I walked in, the service was top-notch, and a big shoutout to Rae at the front desk—she made the check-in process so smooth and welcoming. Her warm smile and helpful attitude set such a great tone for my trip. She even gave me some fantastic recommendations for local restaurants that I ended up loving.

The hotel is a bit old.

I have been staying here for many years now. The location is great, many eating places, train station, the staff are amazing, especially Faye, Zoey and Leo who always make you feel at home and nothing is ever any trouble for them. Breakfast is available in the main restuarant and lounge as well. The lounge is always well staffed with a great variety of food, is very quiet and welcoming.

Very good received by the staff. They arranged everything well for us. The facilities are even better than described. It has a great pool inside and outside and the gym is very good for a hotel gym. Breakfast was also great, lots of options for western and eastern people! Had a great stay! Also, the location is very good!

Location is great. Many local food around the hotel. Nice shopping malls as well as local supermarkets are available. Walking distance to Guangzhou East Station is a big plus. The view is fantastic.

The hotel is showing its age. TV is too small for the size of the room. Furnitures, curtains, beds, IT peripheral are totally out of date. Lighting in the room has only two choices, bright flood lights and all dark. Missing out sleep mode and relax mode. Power outlets doesn't have USB chargers. No AV support to connect laptop to the TV. No audio connection for playing music. Espresso machine not available and the hotel provided only powder coffee!! Bathroom in particular looks very old and way below modern 5 star standard. Shower head was a cheap old replacement of its original. Gym environemnt is good but some of the equipment are also outdated.

All the staff were courteous and helpful. I would like to specifically thank Austin from the Reception. He went all out to assist us with our problems. He should be commended! The Concierge staff is efficient too. The breakfast spread is awesome. This hotel is highly recommended.
