Facilities and hotel room was great! Located opposite McDonalds and has a 7-11 store within the hotel.

Quite a distance from the nearest metro station, which was about a 15-20mins walk. Hotel was doing some sort of maintenance on my last night with no aircon or hot water between 0100h-0500h. Even though we were informed via a note placed on our beds a few days before, we were not informed about it during check in. We had to request for a change of room and had to go through the hassle of checking out of our room and into a new room that was not impacted. Can’t imagine staying in an enclosed room with no aircon or fan for a night…

My husband, daughter, and I had a truly wonderful stay at the Vaperse Hotel in Guangzhou. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the friendly and welcoming staff. It was especially comforting to find English-speaking staff who were always helpful and attentive to our needs. The hotel’s location is absolutely perfect. It offers easy access to transportation, shopping malls, and a variety of restaurants, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing and daily activities. We particularly enjoyed the pleasant 7 to 10-minute walk to the beautiful river promenade, which was a lovely way to spend our evenings. Overall, our experience was excellent, and we hope to return to stay at Vaperse Hotel again on our next visit to Guangzhou. Highly recommended for families and travelers looking for comfort, convenience, and great service.

I booked this accommodation because it had a washing machine and looked reasonably clean from the photos. The lobby of the hotel is extremely grand and the room itself was up to standard whilst not 'grand' compared to the lobby. Every time we walked back into the room, i could smell a slight disinfectant smell and think they used this to mop the floors which was great to know.

I stayed in 4 other accommodations during my trip and every location was going green, providing big refillable bottles of body wash, shampoo etc. This was the only accommodation that still provided the mini travel containers which we had to ask for extras almost every single day. For a hotel lobby as grand and new as it was, the room cabinetry felt quite dated (still clean and functional) but just dated.

The property is very well located. We booked a double bedroom type of apartment and for Hong Kong people it might be bigger than their own flat!

The staff at reception is short in English. It would be good to level up the English level to help poor non Chinese speaking tourist to get around and book restaurants on our behalf while explaining some diet requirements such as being pescatarian. The cleaning staff even not speaking English and which we can perfectly understand here were super duper nice. Could manage to experience it by their greeting and large smiles 😍

Best part of this hotel is the location. It is on the main street, everything you need is reachable around on foot. The staff were friendly and helpful. Loby is large and active. There is 7/11 in hotel which is very helpful for your needs.

Could have been better they have more English speaking staff. Cleaning could have been improved in the rooms.

Good location, around 10 minutes walk to metro station. Amazing views of the skyline including Canton tower. Bed was really comfortable, separate shower and bath, Japanese style toilet always a bonus. Loads of storage space. Great to have washing machine in the room plus microwave and full size fridge freezer.

Cutlery, bowls and glasses not in the room had to ask at reception.

The central park and metro stations are all nearby with 10 min walk. There is a direct metro line to the airport. Helpful staff, tasty and fresh breakfast with many options and they are changing daily. We had a Canton Tower view room and the room was very spacious. It was a good value for the price considering the location.

The carpet was stained, I’m not talking about small spots but rather stripes of stain that you can feel them with your shoes on.

This hotel is fantastic! So clean, the room was huge and bathroom was amazing. Buffet breakfast was so good, so many options and there were different things every day. The bed was huge and comfy!

The staff we encountered on Day 1 didn't speak much English but that was totally fine and we managed to work it out! Everyone was still so lovely and.helpful. Pool was closed because of the weather even though it was sunny and hot.
