break fast is good, the have fruit station, egg station and other station for different kind, the only missing is Halal food, or at least to have an idea about muslim visitors if they are willing to welcome them, its hard to check the HALAL,

service, due to not enough staff availability, after we finish the first round of breakfast, no one is taking care of teh used dishes at table, only one day i found extra staff which they manage to do that, one more critical which not all staff speaks English well, someday we struggle to order hot skimmed milk.

Hotel is located about 10 minutes walk from the Linjiang Blvd / Huacheng Square and 20minutes to Pearl River at Zhujiang New City where modern office buildings and high end restaurant/branded goods are located. I felt that the check-in counter was a bit too hidden and small. We were upgraded to the city view at the higher floor. Spacious and clean room with automated curtains and toilet. The toilet was separated from the shower and vanity top which was ok to me. Reception was very helpful and proficient in english. Even the staff at the lobby entrance was exceptionally helpful. Breakfast buffet was good. It had quite a large spread of chinese cuisine and western breakfast.

Not that convenient if you wish to take the metro. Better to take taxi or e-hailing.

Clark Huang at the concierge has been a great help to us, an elderly couple, navigating the places to visit in the GuangZhou city. His patience and attentiveness to details had made our stay in W Guangzhou a very pleasant and memorable experience. We are so glad to have chosen W to stay in GuangZhou and the service support from Clark and the team of staff at the front desk are highly commendable and deeply appreciated.

There are a lot of choices for breakfast but for us who stayed 6 days eating the same offering can be boring and would prefer if some changes be made to the menu every 2-3 days. The bed pillows and mattress are too soft to support back for comfort over time.

From the moment we arrived, the service was warm and professional. It’s clear they pay attention to the details. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness, and a great overall experience!

Excellent. Location, staff, FOOD, comfortable, large rooms always at the W. We spend a long time here, the staff grew to know us quickly and provided an extremely high level of service. We had our toddler with us, and she was well looked after, with a full size cot, and her buffet meals free of charge. The wait staff were always very hands on in helping us with keeping her entertained while we had a drink at the lobby bar. The check in staff weren't English speaking for the most part, so be prepared to use a translator app. There was a tall gentleman, European, who assisted our every interaction, he was an excellent leader and asset to the W team at Guangzhou, and really made our experience one to remember. Thank you.

Dinner buffet was really good with huge variety of choices. Seafood was caught from the fish tank and steamed the way you like it. Very interesting.

Though the rooms were non smoking, it still smells like guest smoked in there. We had to change rooms because the smell was so strong and unbearable. Even in the new room I can still smell the smoke, just less strong. Though it’s close to Canton tower it’s not walkable. There’s not much around the area.

A nice 5* hotel overall. As one would expect from W brand, rooms and common areas have extensive design work. Rooms are large, beautiful and very modern. So the physical infrastructure gets 10 out of 10.

Staff speaks very limited English. Even the switchboard operator could not understand very simple requests. Staff at Reception spoke better English, Overall, service gets 6 out 10 due to language issues.

It was a great experience, cozy and spacious rooms, excellent breakfast, a large selection and even freshly squeezed juices made by hand!

The only downside was that the staff didn't speak English very well, so sometimes it was a bit difficult to communicate, but they were willing to help.
