The room was clean and the bed comfortable with a variety of soft and hard pillow to suit different preferences. Staff is extremely polite and available for requests. The breakfast was good and they provided free water at request. The location is extremely convenient for subway transport, ample choice of restaurants including vegan options by the Jing'an temple.

The desk is rather small and may not be big enough for working with a laptop. The windows do not completely block the traffic noise and being it right between two high streets if you are sensitive to car noise this may affect you (or you may need earplugs).

Great location, lived in Shanghai for many years and prefer the JingAn area. Close to line 2 subway to PuDong or HongQaio airport. Spacious rooms friendly staff. Would stay here again on future trips to Shanghai.

The Hotel is in downtown Shanghai and close to Yan An Lu so there will be traffic noise hum. But kinda unavoidable in Shanghai City. I’d try and request a room back away from the road if possible and south facing.

Location is great. next to Jing'An temple. there are cafes, restaurant and all sorts of shops around. The subway station is quite close which connect you to the rest of the city.

Location was decent, Jing'an temple and Frech Concession both around the corner. Room was a good size and bed was super comfy. Staff were friendly and helpful. Laundry machines were simple to use.

Could have been cleaner, particularly the walls of the bathroom. Had obviously never been cleaned so looked unhygienic. Hotel needs a repaint. Cleaners had a tendency to dispose of some things that weren't even in a bin, so I lost a pannetone and a takeaway :(. Hotel didn't respond when I asked in advance for the Chinese address for the taxi. Hotel is called Kangbo hotel in Chinese, which is what's needed for Didi

Breakfast is a highlight, they have amazing assorted bread, cheese and jams, in addition to several options, as there’s a restaurant working in the hotel, the restaurante is really good and fair priced by the way. They provide free bottled water too. Great location near Jing An Temple station.

I second some comments about the smoke smell getting to the rooms. I did notice it one time that I stayed in, at about 9-10 am, the smell was so strong it was as if someone was smoking inside the room, and my room was in the 5th floor! I’m not sure if the staff is smoking or what but it was intense.

The room turned out to be bigger than expected, very spacious, and the bathroom/ toilet area is also really big, makes it really comfortable to just stay in the room and chill. The bed is upper comfortable, got different pillows that you could adjust to your liking, a decent work desk and this sitting area. Overall cleanliness is great, staff very attentive and friendly. Most importers, great value for money. I highly recommend this hotel.

This might be due personal preference but I don’t like the smell coming into the lobby. That’s the only think I dislike and it’s not quite the hotel’s fault or anything

Very well located chain hotel with a modern look for tourist purposes. Jing'an Park and Temple are within walking distance, as are subway stations and public rental bikes right outside the door. The set-back location means it is pleasantly quiet day and night. The rooms are practical and creatively designed. There are Western and Asian options for breakfast. The lobby also has a nice quality of stay.

Access is only possible via Wulumuqi Road. Street maps don't suggest this, and Google doesn't know this either.

Great location nearby French district, Jing An Temple and subway, good bed, great breakfast and helpful staff.

All facilities declared to be non-smoking, however once we entered the room, we could smell the smoke inside, which wore off by the time we came back from our walk. Seems there is an airlock in the water pipes, as the terrible sounds was coming out every other time we used the bathroom, I believe it’s a matter of time to get it fixed.

There haven't big problem that I can mention

Good value for money in the heart of Jing An, 5mins walk to the exit 12 of Jing An station. The room was comfy & spacious and very warm in the winter time. The breakfast was very nice and there were lots of different choices!

The staff seemed quite serious at times, maybe more smiles would create a more welcoming atmosphere.
