Comfy soft beds and cushions, spacious due to extra corner. Friendly housekeepings. Bustling neighbourhood with cafes and restaurants. Walking distance to various subway lines, iapm shopping mall with Log-On/City Super supermarket. You can get extra amenities from the reception: toothbrush, cotton pads, shaving stuff, kids toothbrush set, kids shower gel set and kids slippers. Nespresso machine with 1 normal coffee and 1 decafe capsule in the rooms.

According to pictures, the extra corner should have a lounge sofa, but in my room there was a single person lounge chair with small table, another desk with chair in the corner. Not all staff were friendly.

The hotel was really nice and the location was perfect , right in the middle of the French Concession and close to the Jing’an area.

The Donghu Collection is a sister hotel of the Donghu Hotel on the same road , pictures of the Donghu Hotel are intermingled with the photos of the Donghu Collection which you don’t have access to unless you have booked the breakfast, a little misleading. Not to take anything away from the Donghu Collection it is still a beautiful hotel.

The pool and gym opening at 9:00 I would suggest if they can open earlier for customers who like to exercise early in their day. Also I suggest to avoid using the cooperating taxi company of the hotel as I when I tried to make a booking for the airport, the app was inefficient and then I cancelled it as my flight time had been changed but still was charged as they claimed it was done on short notice.

I really like the customer service and their prompt reply to my query. Shout out to the sales manager Louis Ling, she’s very friendly, helpful and professional. Also to the receptionist who hold the umbrella and help us with the luggage in the stormy weather. Thank You very much for the excellent service that you provided.

Amazing location, very close to Huai Huai road and a 20/30 minute walk to Anfu Road and Wukang Road. Lots of great shops and cafes nearby. Very comfortable and clean room and helpful staff.

Laundry service was quite expensive, but was very quick and convenient.

Well, this is quite a decent stay for the money. Staff is good, pool is awesome, location is superb. There are plenty of restaurants and bars near the hotel, especially I do recommend Grande Alimentaire

We asked to book a taxi to get us to the airport the night before and we arrived at reception the taxi was not booked which was not ideal as we were going to the airport for our flight back home.

Swimming poor required an obligatory swimming cap, which most people do not travel with.
