The location was the best part of it, as well as the friendly and helpful staff. The place and the area it is in feel safe and comfortable, there's public transportation nearby and it's easy to request a taxi. It being close to the Circunvalar avenue makes it easier to get to places more quickly.

The building feels a bit dated in some aspects but it's not a big deal. Breakfast is quite basic which is not a big issue for me as I usually prefer to try the local options but it is something to consider.

We got a free upgrade to a nice spacious room, the bed was comfy, big bathroom. The breakfast was good and the staff was very friendly and we could leave our bags before/after check out. The location is really good, close to restaurants/stores and parks but in a calm street.

The water in the shower didn't really heat up but also wasn't too cold, so quite bearable. The room was a little noisy from time to time, some old building noises and also noises from the entrance.

I was hesitant to book this hotel because of some of the reviews but I am so happy I booked it anyway. I will most certainly be back. The area around the hotel is safe and fantastic. Packed with excellent restaurants (Maraflor and Osaki are two examples), nightly entertainment, high end shopping mall, 24 hour groceries, cafés and more! I was so delighted in almost every way. I stayed in the best suite and it was packed with features: 2 person hot tub, living room with a fireplace, office area, kitchen area with full size refrigerator, safety deposit box, television, beautiful and large bathroom. They have an underground parking lot which was amazing, despite some minor issues (see below)! And the kitchen staff really sealed the deal for me. Carolina in the restaurant spoke English and was so sweet and accommodating. I told her I was vegetarian and every morning she offered to make me meat-free scrambled eggs. The food choices are plentiful, delicious and the coffee did not disappoint! I don't agree with the negative reviews at all. The staff was happy to replace my 2 towels whenever I asked and the building looked inviting from the outside. Inside, everything was clean and the upper floors are accessible by elevator. I do not feel that it is in need of renovations.

The negatives are as follows and are all minor: 1- the staff at the front desk was hit and miss in terms of speaking English but with a translator app it was fine. 2- the parking lot is a bit difficult to get in and out of because the door is controlled manually by the staff and there are lots of pillars which can be a challenge when there are a lot of cars in it. 3. The shower water pressure was mediocre but on a positive note the water stayed hot for a long time. 4. At night the outside sounds of partying and in the morning the traffic noise was a bit too loud but with a cheap pair of ear plugs I slept great.

The lobby was beautiful. The room was a good size. The bathroom was big as was the bed we had. Had a sitting room and small office space

The only bad thing was the water psi was low It took ages to fill the tub. And the temp was only warm. The breakfast was so so too.

The rooms and bathrooms were outdated, breakfast was OK but sometimes things did not seem freshly made or things ran out. But staff was nice and that made up for it.

The hotel is in a very nice part of Bogotá with many restaurant and shopping options. The hotel is very nice and the staff were excellent.

The suite I chose showed a spa tub in the photos and in the description, yet there was no such spa tub in the room. When I asked, they showed me another room that also didn’t have this. Their photos and description need to be updated to reflect this. I would have rated this place a 10 had otherwise.
