Free breakfast much above average for Colombia. The staff make or break any property for me and the staff here was great. Lots to do and see within walking distance including the Santa Fe barrio. The front doorman Guido, the maids, and the front desk were all excellent. A little tipping goes a long way.

Room did not have enough light at night. They missed my one and only wake-up call for me, fortunately without consequence. The had an inconsistent guest policy at the front desk sometimes, but all decisions by management were ultimately in my favor. I paid for double occupancy. The time the maids came to clean was very inconsistent throughout their work day.

Bidenomics not working. We all need help. Hotel San Francisco de Asís is a wonderful place to stay. Friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast included. Awesome location close to all of the activities and action

The room was comfortable- not especially big and not especially small -with nice cityscape views, as well as views of the surrounding mountains. We liked the breakfast- lots of choices. There is a public bus stop directly outside of the lobby.

The hotel's location is very central, which was good and bad. It's convenient to other attractions during the day, but it would have probably not been very safe to walk around the area at night. However, we used the same precautions we would use in any big city anywhere, and we had no problems at all while we were there.

The room was very good, cleaned daily with change of towels if needed. The breakfast was good ,I particularly liked the "Calde" aka Soup for breakfast. It is a tradition that should be introduced world wide. There is free nice tasting coffee at reception. The location is great for Montserrate, La Candelaria, Torre Patria, Presidential Palace and even the train station for the train to the Salt Cathedral.

I have stayed in the San Francisco de Asis Hotel three times now, in 2022,2023 and 2024 so obviously I do not have any dislikes.

The hotel is near to the commercial center in the older part of the city. Most important museums and other interesting spots can be reach by foot (Between 10 to 20 min walk.) The staff is friendly and check is was efficient. The hotel has a restaurant with good food . Breakfast is a kind of buffet where you can choose you items, The rooms are simple with no frills. Bath and toilet accessoires can be find in the bathroom

After 21.00 at night the area becomes rapidly empty, regardless there is a important bus stop beside the hotel. Street lights no everytime function. However there is no reason for to panic but common sense should be used.

The breakfast was impressive. The check-in process was easy and accommodating. The room was perfect. They also have a great selection of channels to watch on TV.

The restaurant was open all day but when I went twice, it seemed like it was closed. I sat with my friend waiting for service and the staff ignored us. When I was there for breakfast, it was great. The area is scary at night and during the day a little bit. I did not feel like I wanted to leave the hotel without an uber.

Surprisingly big appartment, comfy bed. Breakfast included (colombian) was decent but bare in mind at 8AM there's a cue. Transmulenio bus right in front of the building so if you don't arrive early, with one trip fare you can reach from the airport changing at National Museum (use gmaps). Good hot shower

Can get a bit cold at night but the bedding was enough. No door card for a late arrival, had to ask for one in the morning. Still i would return even for a longer stay

I loved the location of establishment. it was directly in front of meteo station. The staff was not fluent in English which was a little difficult to communicate, However, Google was at my finger tip. I love room 606 & 607 those rooms.we.big with fancy n decor and big bed for a difference of $20.00. 24/7 front desk service. Taxi is easy and accessible.

Honestly, i was accustom going to breakfast where people.sharing my food. I think.they could.change the egg and use some sussage and bacon. Case in point the hotel is lovely. I enjoyed my every ♥️ moment.

Caesar, the young manager, was the true professional working with and leading his staff. And the Breakfast worker (man) was like a machine keeping everyone supplied, clearing tables, and even one morning serving all by himself. Housekeeping not only was welcoming but rooms were really cleaned (even under beds). But it was Beheya, serving breakfast, that was really the sun in the room while patiently dealing with the line of us, she was both cheerful and warm. Throw in the great jazzy music and Marriot-like rooms centrally located and Hotel San Francisco de Asis has a winner! I will return with my family.

I thought it was going to be 'Only Spanish' spoken. But with an App, it was a non-issue. (I almost canceled.)

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. The breakfast is good. I stayed at this same hotel right years ago and seen many improvements although it was a good hotel at that time. One member of the cleaning staff this time helped me change rooms which I really appreciated. Good value and hotel in Bogota.

Location is kind of sketchy, but it was OK for me. I walk a lot and nobody ever bothered me. The exception was a scam artist dressed in suit and tie near Banco Colombia ATM's 4 blocks from the hotel in Tequendama area. Fake police ID and scamming for personal information. Don't pay attention to these scammers.
