Great Location, a Fantastic hotel, very clean and large rooms. but if you don't speak Spanish then you have communication problems. Nice restaurant and breakfast was so good with lots of variety

The staff at the checking desk did not speak any English and was not as helpful as another hotel where we stayed in Colombia do understand I was in a Spanish speaking Country but Your Heotel is a business and International hotel. The Hotel is very nice with great facilities and staff at the restaurant were so accommodating

Fantastic location in downtown Bogota - easy access to everything we wanted to see and do. We stayed in the older rooms - they were larger than we expected, had enough beds for all of us, kitchen space and dining space was useful for gathering, etc.

The breakfast was fine, but it would be great if they rotated more food since there seem to be many guests staying longer so you get a little tired of the same breakfast. Additionally, communication between the reception/front desk and the cleaning staff needs to be improved. Cleaning staff should know how many guests are in each room and provide sufficient towels, etc.

Spacious, nicely furnished rooms and a fantastic breakfast. The staff are a very kind and professional. I would stay at Tequendama Suites again, even with the minor complaint I'm describing below.

The windows in my room did not close properly due to broken locking mechanisms. This results in draft and considerable noise from the busy street which the hotel room is facing. No chance of sleeping without ear plugs. Several other reviews point out the same issue, so it's not just one room that has the problem.

From my room in the 23rd floor, I had a magnificent view over the mountain range east of Bogotá. Particularly beautiful were the sunrises over Monserrate, the city's hausberg. The location of the hotel, at the crossing of Cra. 7 and Avenida Eldorado, offers very efficient public and other transport both towards the airport and towards the north, along Cra. 7.

The hotel is surrounded by urban motorways and major thoroughfares and correspondingly affected by strong traffic noise, day and night. Unfortunately, the windows do not provide much protection; they typically do not even close correctly and thus allow the noise to enter almost undamped. The breakfast offers a lot of typical Colombian delicacies. However, components of "continental breakfast", such as bread and spreads like marmalade and honey, are severely underrepresented. A broader choice in this respect would substantially improve the attractiveness of the breakfast buffet in particular for European guests.

The suites were spacious, clean, and well-equipped, offering a comfortable stay for nine nights. The staff was friendly and attentive, always ready to help. The amenities, including the gym and sauna, were a great bonus. The breakfast had a good variety, with fresh fruits, local dishes, and made-to-order eggs. It was a great way to start the day, though the selection could have been slightly more diverse over a long stay. The hotel is in a convenient area, close to key attractions, restaurants, and business districts. It felt safe, and transportation options were easily accessible.

Some area in the room could use minor updates (damaged walls, noisy chairs) and the soundproofing wasn’t ideal—street noise was noticeable at times. A wider variety of breakfast options would be great for longer stays. The WiFi could be more reliable, as I experienced a few downtimes. A better-equipped kitchen and additional toiletries like shower caps, creams, and extra soaps would enhance the experience.

It was a good location and historic building, across from the National Museum.

Building was old. First night we were so cold and next day we got the portable heater. There is no heater or air condition in the hotel rooms. Second day, the hair dryer was broken and got replaced. Third day, when we tried to use the kitchen, there was no pots or pans in the kitchen. It was a night time and we got the pans and pots next day but we didn’t need to them. Also, there was a few staffs spoke English, so when they were not there, it was hard to communicate. Overall, they tried to please us and it was ok with the price and the location.

An iconic building with excellent staff. I was very impressed with their professionalism and friendliness. I was able to store my luggage, which was really important for me as I was travelling after my conference. The bed was really comfortable and the room was spacious. I valued being able to have access to laundry service too (ideal for long stays). They also organised transport for me to the airport, which again was greatly appreciated.

The suites are huge, separate kitchen/dining/living area from bedroom/bath area. Bed is full size with decent but firm mattress. Location for us was exceptional as we wanted to be within 30min walk to La Candelaria and the walk itself passes by many pedestrian only roads with street vendors and restaurants. Also close to Monserrate trail head. The free breakfast was also exceptional with huge selection of traditional Columbian food and juices. Gym was small but functional. Staff were very helpful given language differences.

We were on the street side of hotel and even up on 25th floor it was noisy, busy road below. The windows were thin and don’t close well, that did not help.

Tequendama Hotel is a tradition in Colombia. The property is centrally located close to landmarks, as well as to restaurants, bars and a supermarket. Breakfast is included, offering a wide variety of choices buffet style. The service is excellent. All of our requests were attended to immediately and in a friendly manner.

The only reason I didn’t give a 10 is the Wi Fi service, which is unreliable. It connects and disconnects at will and is also slow most of the time.

The breakfast at the Hotel Tequendama is a delightful experience with stunning city views. The buffet offers a wide variety of delicious options, both local and international. While the service can be slow, the ambiance and food quality make it a memorable start to your day
